Let me start by saying I am a very loyal Marriott user, lifetime Platinum Elite. I am so over the Courtyard concept. No tegular coffee in the rooms here, no coffee in lobby until 6:30am. The pay for breakfast model is what it is but the service just sucks. it's so slow. today was the last straw. I went to check in and was informed there is now a fee to park my car at a Courtyard? I stopped staying at the Embassy Suites because of parking fees.this is just greedy when I am paying over $200 a night at a Courtyard. I will be staying at Hilton properties moving forward. keep your parking fees. read more

Room was clean, front desk and Bartender were helpful and friendly. We requested to be away from the freeway, which she gave us. Seems like freeway side would be a bit noisy. We live local, but came in a points stay to get some sleep cause my parents were watching our toddler and newborn. I brought a bottle of wine and wine opener but wanted a glass, and the Bartender happily gave me a chilled glass. It was wonderful. Only complaints: we have the DND on the door and at 11, a maid attempted to come in and then asked if we were doing a late checkout (checkout is at 12). We planned to leave by 12 (although I could stay til 2 as a gold member). Second, I went to get ice at 11:30. And my cards no longer worked. So, it almost seemed like we're were being pushed to leave at 11 when checkout was 12 and we had DND on the door. read more

We stayed here for one night on a road trip. The room was clean. It was on the parking lot side, not the highway side, and it was quiet. The bathroom is big and bright. The workout room is big and well equipped. I loved that! In so many hotels, it feels like a closet. They could work on keeping the main area fresh and tidy. Drink stains on tables, trash left behind, no toilet paper in the restroom. Ripped chairs outside. Take care of this to be a 5-star. :) read more

Stayed at this hotel for three nights. The location of the hotel is great and close to lots of food/shopping. Also tons of hotels are also in this area. Our check-in experience wasn't great, the front desk staff was struggling a bit and not the friendliest. But the lobby décor and furniture is welcoming and has plenty of different seating options. There is also a patio outback but can only be accessed with your hotel key card. We noticed the Bistro restaurant was closed which was disappointing because we were banking on eating there to supplement some of our meals. Only the snack lobby area was open which was a bunch of frozen food and hotel coffee - a snob I am, I know! But again, disappointing because the Bistro was a draw for us to stay at this hotel. Our room appeared comfortable and clean but after staying there for three nights you notice things more. The room was a little beat up in areas like the wallpaper was peeling, the shower was a little moldy, and the faucet hadn't had a deep clean in a while. Stain on the duvet, just some icky things here and there that you don't want to see. The strangest was the faucet being too close to the ledge of the countertop sink, so water would splash everywhere behind the faucet. A mess up in design but the whole countertop kept getting all wet - it was just bizarre. The positives include a comfy bed/pillows, smart storage solutions, nice TV, along with a mini refrigerator and microwave. I appreciated all the amenities especially the higher end shampoo/body wash line. read more

We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott for a few days. It was a an smooth process checking in and getting my digital key through the Marriott app. When I walked in nicely greeted and was able to get my complementary water upon asking as I'm a Bonvoy gold member. They lobby was very nice with games, a bar and urban contemporary flair. Everything was clean and had a. Nice vibe. We booked a twin queen room and was happy to have requested a room on the opposite side of the highway. The Hotel in very close for the highway and fortunately i requested a room on the opposite side. It made a big different difference ... but despite being on the 4th floor you can still hear highway noise when next to the window. The room was and likes then modern feel inside. It was nice to have a mini refrigerator to top it off. The rooms seem quite nice compared to other hotels around I have stayed at but prices were a bit higher than I would expect to spend. The beds were just okay... was Feeling it on day two of my stay. The workout room was nice and includes treadmills, recumbent bike, Elliptical, and weights. There is room to spread out a bit and has nice windows which overlooked the back patio. Next to the workout room there is a small pool. Outside the pool is a nice patio which looks nice but the only issue is the highway is right on the backside of the "privacy" wall and tree line. It was very loud. It was fun that they had Lemonade out as it was lemonade day and Cheros at night! Overall a good experience ... I just don't get the location. If noise bothers you like it does my ... it was irritating. My second issue was despite still not having covid behind us and numbers not good in this region none of the hand sanitizer stations they have in the lobby had any solution in them. Ultimately I would recommend staying here ... just be aware of a few things I pointed out. read more

I can only say wonderful things about the bartender and the front desk person, KeShaun. He went over and beyond to make my stay the best it could be. Anytime I had to ask for something, he made sure to help me with a big smile! The bartender, I did not get her name, was very friendly and made sure I was well taken care of. We unfortunately stayed through a winter storm, where most of the city shut down, so the cleaning and upkeep of the rooms suffered. Though, I'm not sure how well it is usually since, when I arrived, my sheets had someone else's hair all over them. I requested a sheet change, but had to do it myself, since it was so late. Everyday when we got back to our rooms, something was missed in the cleaning, new coffee, coffee cups, making the bed, cleaning the toilet, etc. I know there was a storm, but come on, if you are doing partly, might as well do it the whole way. read more

Great spot! This hotel has everything. Super friendly staff, super comfy beds, super nice venue, Starbucks in the lobby, and it's a very new, clean, fresh, feel. The banquet food we ordered was simple but delicious - cheeseburger buffet that also came with chicken and all the extras including fries. There was a mixup with our block of sleeping rooms but the sales rep fixed it quickly and put most of us up just across the street in an equally great hotel, so crisis averted! It snowed, so a lot of our appointments rescheduled or cancelled but the crowd that did show was great. We'll be back for sure. 3/6 read more

This hotel is super nice. It's a great place of many options in Murfreesboro. It's within a mile of about anything you can think of. The rooms were nice and clean. However, I was on the fourth floor and could hear the interstate throughout my entire stay. Maybe the first floor isn't as bad, but definitely don't stay on the back side of the hotel near the interstate. read more

This is my first visit to Murfreesboro, TN. Stayed @ Courtyard Marriott while attending Bonnaroo. Wonderful location w/ lots of nice dining options in close proximity. The hotel is very clean & the staff is wonderful! Nice lobby w/ sitting area, bar/coffee/food service. I was impressed w/ the gym facility..nice variety of machines, free weights, towels & even headphones for those who forgot theirs. I can't say enough about Katherine at the front desk! Too close to hwy, very noisy room, BUT, the bathroom shower chair was absolutely filthy with feces underneath and throughout the slats etc, did not take a shower for fear fecal material would splash on us. Health dept needs to pay them a visit! Room was nice but this filthy shower Chair is a dealbreaker, will never go back, was disgusting! Would have left earlier if I inspected the shower chair, but in am when thought would enjoy a nice hot shower before leaving, I was unable to shower because of the health hazard throughout their shower chair! read more

This location is so clean, convenient to the highway, and well-maintained. Our room was laid out really well and very quiet all night. There is a small fridge and a Keurig. The gym had all the necessary equipment, WiFi worked without glitches, and the staff is friendly. We stayed last minute on a road trip, but would definitely consider it again if the need arose. Only wish I had was a smart tv to connect to Hulu or Netflix, but that really wasn't big deal. This place was a bargain at 17,500 Bonvoy points. read more

The hotel selection is growing in Murfreesboro and this Courtyard is one of the newest choices. The lobby and rooms and well decorated and comfortable. The staff is friendly. The workout room is small but what you'd expect from a hotel gym. They have an indoor pool which is disappointing- I wish all hotels in the south would build outdoor pools and create comfy seating areas with some shade. I try to choose hotels with nice pools because I love taking 30 minutes out of my travel schedule to relax and unwind by the pool. When I arrived for check in, the hotel did not have keys available for the room so an employee let me in my room and brought keys later. The market pantry is sparse on food selection and the breakfast didn't open until 7am on Saturday which seems a little late. I'm hopeful these issues are due to the hotel being new and working out kinks. I'll definitely give it a second try. read more

Nice hotel, the room are very nice, the AC and heater works well. Huge walk in showers and nice bathrooms. The maids don't do a very good job though. Didn't replace the toilet roll when I got into my room the first time it was half used up. And wrappers were left in my room from previous person. Other than that, I had a nice stay. read more

Three words...just plain dirty. I'm not a hotel snob but this place was surprisingly dirty. Vent in the bathroom was caked in dust. Mold in the shower and on shower curtain. Walls not wiped down apparently in forever. Crumbs in night stand power station. In 20+ years of traveling for work I have never checked out early just to change hotels but I did for this one. This is not covid related but looks to be systemic. Sad as this is a good location. Will not be back here obviously. read more

This was a very nice hotel. It was very clean and the associates were friendly and accommodating. There is so much in walking distance for shopping and eating and it is conveniently located right off of the interstate. I loved the fact that they had Keurig coffee pots in the rooms. Jason and the hotel staff were incredible. They provided a wheel chair for my wife. helped us to the room. Comped our dinner. Disappointing. Marriott seems to be on the decline. Bathroom tub wall is nasty looking, with visible gaps. Overall the fit and finish is second rate. It makes one wonder what has happened to the Marriott construction organization. Additionally this property's investors will have abnormally high maintenance costs, but that's not revenant to guest/consumers, right? Lots of small issues upon check-in related to housekeeping as well. Overall the management appears to be less effective than is typical at a Marriott property. Examples - no extra toilet paper, tissue box wet, however the staff was responsive to these issues, so that's a positive. So the average consumer will most likely have an average experience here, but if you are a long time Marriott customer you will be disappointed, in my opinion read more

A very nice hotel, but we weren't told they don't serve complimentary breakfasts. Just something to be aware of. You will have to buy from Starbucks in the lobby if you were planning to eat there. The price was about $40 lower than average hotels in the area, which did make up for breakfast. Great stay. read more
