I can see why this place comes so highly recommended. I felt both relaxed yet in the center of plenty going on around me. I am in my late thirties, and my boyfriend and I were the youngest guests here, and we enjoyed this place very much. All the guests were lively and super friendly. Location is awesome, close to plenty of shops, ice cream spots, bars and restaurants. We'll be back every year if they'll have us. We stayed in room 303 and had a nice view of the ocean. It's located in a great spot close to lots of restaurants, shopping and candy shops. There are two pools both overlooking the beach with plenty of seating and lounge chairs. There are also free beach chairs. There are plenty of beach towels in your room and towel service everyday. I recommend staying here for good pricing, convenience and beach.

There is little to no supervision of guests who frequently cause problems for people who live nearby... from leaving trash around to blow onto the beach & nearby properties; to loud, drunken guests who have no respect for LBTS noise ordinances or condo owners living nearby. And unattended children/teenagers are frequently an issue. This is El Mar Drive, not the hood. Recently allowing beach umbrellas to be used as clotheslines was next level trashy. Do better Windjammer Resort (a stretch) & Beach Club. Have some pride & demonstrate professionalism. Please.

This resort is small and right on the beach. Most of the rooms face the ocean. There are many restaurants and stores within a five minute walk so I'm happy with minimal immensities here. It gets right to the point.....The Ocean! So far it has been a quiet stay. Most of the people staying here have been respectful of noise. They have towel service available everyday between 9-10 and 2-3. We did an exchange during those times with no one counting or having to show a wrist band or room key. I would love to come back here again to stay. I am thorough enjoying the tranquility of the ocean and the view from our room. I recommend the third floor. There is parking available l included in fee, there is laundromat available on sight (not in room), coffee between 8-2, beach chair/umbrella rental, large gas grill by pool and full kitchen. The room had a nice floor plan and a well equipped kitchenette. Our favorite feature of the room was the shower. We rate our showers by comparison to the Royal Sonesta in Kauai. The water pressure is excellent, and we really liked the tile floor in the shower. I am a Housing Quality Inspector, and it was difficult to find dust in this unit. The bed was very comfortable memory foam. The grounds were clean and staff were there early cleaning and straightening due to the heavy storms. The pools and hot tub were very clean and my grandson enjoyed them immensely. The location was excellent. Very near the ocean and the main hang out at Ft Lauderdale by the sea. The Italian bakery/Gelato spot should not be missed, the cheesecake is next level. Here are the reasons I gave a three star review. And the reason why we will not stay here on our annual Florida trips. First minor reason is parking. We are in Florida to visit family. And when they come over to visit there is no extra parking. Second minor reason is the office never looked open , it was always dark and appeared to be closed. I never once saw anybody in and out of the office. Very uninviting. Third and major reason is because the musty moldy smell in the unit. Sort of like a damp storm cellar. I did mention it to the manager on the phone. And she commented that I need to keep the A/C running (note it wasn't running when we arrived). She did bring a damp rid hanger for the room, appreciated but didn't help. When I checked it before leaving it had about a half inch water inside. We were going to just leave , but it was late and didn't want the hassle. I asked the neighbor if their room smelled like ours. She said yes and was also told. Just keep A/C running. We did not spend much time in the room because this was really affecting my asthma, therefore we just slept and showered there. We had to keep all windows open just so I could sleep. Home now and still feeling the effects in my lungs.

My daughters and I stayed with you in suite #7 back in June 2024. We had everything we needed in our suite: two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchenette, and much more. Outside was a private pool and beach. The only thing I didn't like was the neighbors coming over using the pool & beach chairs. Pretty lame at $1,014.74 for two nights.

They will take you around the area, including to their restaurant down the street, which was such a fun and convenient touch. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. If you're traveling with your dogs, I highly recommend BVR.
