Plenty of booth and table seats inside, a dozen or so patrons already there, I found a stool at the lengthy bar. Two dozen brewtaps were visible on the wall, covering an array of tastes. The staff was great, friendly, quick with a smile, and made excellent suggestions on what frosty beverage might help rehydrate me. Tried a 5 beer sampler flight before settling on a fantastic red ale called Mucker Red. Looked over the menu and placed a food order, and got chummy with the red while I waited. The food arrived and I tossed it down my gullet along with another Mucker......a great combination. Even though I still had to make Las Vegas by midnight, I grabbed a six pack of Muckers for the road and stashed it on the bike. It was rather warm by the time I pulled into my drive, but a days worth of cooling off in the fridge and it was right back to awesome. It is owned and operated by a local family. Your bartender will either be Mark or his mom, Donna. They own the place. They have a fabulous assortment of whisky. I'm working on joining their Whisky 100 club. Love the history of this place. Built in 1907, check out the pictures on the wall. You can see that it is now virtually like it was in 1907 thanks to the hard work they put into restoring the building. Great owners, good booze, friendly atmosphere ... you can't go wrong here.

To begin with tissues from the previous guest were still behind the bed table. We left them there. The mattress spring covers weren't just dirty. It was stained and filthy. There was a refrigerator in the room that when opened the ice had such a build up of ice you knew it had never been checked or cleaned. Moving down to the restaurant ..... the ketchup when turned upside down "clumped" to opening and didn't slide like fresh ketchup. The bottles of other toppings appeared to have also been there a mighty long time without being freshened up. Okay .. what did we order? We ordered two hot fudge sundaes. The hot fudge was lukewarm and clumped... After all, what did we expect? The following morning when we stopped by "Registraiton" to drop the keys off, the clerk was sound asleep in his chair. Evidently, he'd been there a bit as other keys were laying on the counter that had also been cropped off. He did look at me and grunt and then went back to sleep.
