As a young girl, I suffered through Sears' "Lemon Frog" department (the girl equivalent of the Toughskins Husky horror). I remember a time when you couldn't walk into a regular retail store and find clothing larger than a 14, or shoes larger than a 9. Luckily, that time has past. I would be hard-pressed to recommend any store more highly than I would recommend Lane Bryant. In my opinion, it's one of the finest stores for plus-sized women's clothing. I used to run store to store, outlet to outlet, and find a quality piece here or there, but once I discovered Lane Bryant, I was able to build a nice wardrobe without scouring the countryside. Years ago, I wised up and stopped buying custom intimate wear and began wearing Lane Bryant's brand, Cacique. It's much cheaper, much higher quality, and way prettier than the things I used to pay a fortune for and just tolerate. Plus, the Lane Bryant sales associates are trained to custom fit you. For free. Hard to beat that combination. Also, their jewelry and shoe selection is plus-sized (another rarity). I have a beautiful collection of bangles, bracelets, etc. that fit me. Their necklaces are just a smidgen longer than regular, so they hit just the right place. Even their socks and hosiery are made for "us". I have always been able to find casual wear and business attire all under one roof, which is a real pleasure. Big bonus: their sales are often, plentiful, and generous. The stores aren't in every mall, but there are enough of them around Atlanta to make it easy to shop with them. Online is a great option, too, as is their outlet store up near Dalton, GA. Even though I haven't shopped there in awhile (I had gastric bypass surgery, and I am slowly divesting myself of my much-loved Lane Bryant wardrobe), I will always love that store. Not just because they carried things in my size, but moreso because I always felt good shopping there.

My package ordered with "signature" option was lost, while USPS insisted it was delivered (happens periodically). I contacted the FOX's customer service and was basically yelled at (they implied that I lied!). Better yet, a year later I found out that bc of that one occurrence, I was placed on the "blacklist" and I can't order from them anymore! This is completely outrageous, and I make a point to let as many people as I can about it. Don't order online from them, you can get screwed for nothing as I was. Outrageous!!!

The chemistry is palpable, and it almost feels as though the two of you are already dating! Meeting up is just going to be a formality! And then the big day comes.... and all of that excitement vanishes the moment you meet up. Somehow there is no chemistry... and the conversation falls flat. That's how I felt after my first encounter with UNTUCKiT! I'm a guy that loves to wear my shirts untucked. And apparently this is what this store specializes in... shirts that look great untucked. I've seen countless commercials advertising this store, and have always imagined shopping nirvana when the two of us met. I thought this would be a match made in heaven! I could almost hear the dramatic music playing as I excitedly approached the store. I had fantasized about this moment every time I saw a commercial. This would be my new "go to" store! I was so excited to learn that they had just opened at Lenox Mall!! I wish this love story had a good ending. But the honeymoon abruptly ended the moment I began trying on shirts, and it all came crashing down. Surely there had been some kind of mistake. These shirts did not look good untucked!! How could it be??? The universe was playing a horrible trick on me! In the end, I was only able to find one shirt that looked good untucked. Not a good batting average for a store that is supposed to specialize in shirts that look good untucked. In all fairness, there wasn't a huge inventory and they are planning on getting more in stock in the future. In addition, I saw some shorter clients that fared better than me. Clearly the results vary from person to person. The store is located on the top floor near the Apple Store. They sell both men and women's clothing. I'm not ready to give up on the dream just yet, and will definitely check this place out again in the future. I'm hoping that a larger inventory will yield better results. For now, I'm going to give them three stars and hope for the best. I'm hoping this love story will still have a happy ending.

Since my time zone is 3 hours away I call again the next day and was told I already had the email.
