First, I would like to say that I always liked this store that has a nice selection of clothes. However, I would strongly advised against ordering online. My package ordered with "signature" option was lost, while USPS insisted it was delivered (happens periodically). I contacted the FOX's customer service and was basically yelled at (they implied that I lied!). Better yet, a year later I found out that bc of that one occurrence, I was placed on the "blacklist" and I can't order from them anymore! This is completely outrageous, and I make a point to let as many people as I can about it. Don't order online from them, you can get screwed for nothing as I was. Outrageous!!! read more

Open during covid, looked around for some things didn't get greeted initially but someone walked with me the entire shopping experience. The woman looked around and set up the dressing room. Checking back every step of the way. Usually I'd think it was nice, but their level of customer care is a tad bit invasive for an independent shopper such as myself. The representative came to the dressing room, which is lined with sheer curtains so anyone passing can see you completely undressed, it's a little uncomfortable. Especially when the sales rep would walk over and look you up and down to see if "everything is okay". Once again, I'm an independent shopper who will ask for help if I need help. Honesty I was uncomfortable shopping in there. Their largest size is a Large, so plus size women have a VERY limited option in here. All in all I like the clothing options, I like the shoes, I even like the music. I wish I wasn't looked at as...idk a screaming infant that needs constant attention. I'd never heard of this store until we went to ATL!?! I love that they have eclectic fashions! I will definitely visit other stores. The customer service in the ATL store was Fabulous; the sales associates speak to you and if/when you're holding a potential purchase/item, they ask if they can hold it for you (they put it at the front counter)! -that is boutique shopping at it's best; the only thing I could've asked for to make it the ultimate boutique shopping experience would've been a glass of wine/mimosas. The only negative I had about Fox's was the shear curtains in the fitting rooms-I'm not an exhibitionist, so that was a bit of a let down. Overall the shopping experience was enjoyable. read more

Current-season discount designer stuff! Woo-hoo! Best thing about shopping at Fox's? The shoe section! I head straight for it each visit. Most times, I find picks that I'd also find at Nordstrom. For about half the price. Reason enough to go by this NY/NJ-based department store located where the old Harry's in A Hurry on Roswell Rd. used to be. I agree with what other reviewers have said - skip the jeans section. And you do have to do some "wading-through" and have some patience if you are looking for specific items. I will say, though, that I've had luck with work wear, particularly business casual and springtime suits and cocktail dresses. Occasionally, I've found great purses and fun jewelry. They also send good coupons in the mail, and I generally just politely tell the saleswomen that I'm fine and go about my own perusing. Oh - and go prepared for the "open" dressing rooms - it's not a place where you have much privacy to try things on! read more

I just walked out of this fabulous find. This is my new favorite store in Atlanta. The size of this store is very generous. The clothes are well made, unique, and affordable! If I were the kind of person to blow my entire paycheck shopping, that venture would definitely happen at this boutique! I tried on a number of items that I loved, however, I only walked away with the items I could not live without. I only walked away with a dress and a pair of shoes and spent just over $200. However, the dress-- I can't even begin to explain how amazing it is! I am about to put it on and walk around the house in it. I absolutely love everything about it. If Anyone ever wants to get me a gift just because, please buy me a gift card from here!! Not only are the clothes fabulous, but the staff were extremely helpful. One associate provided me with a little history about the store. There are locations in places such as Chicago, and NY. The prices are up to 70% off of retail, and they only stock a few of each items. Perfect for me! I prefer not to dress like everyone else. She also mentioned that in order to keep the prices low, they do not accept charge. You can pay with cash, debit or check. Just a little tip regarding the fitting room. There are semi private spaces. I say semi private because the curtains are sheer. The staff appear to enjoy being a part of your experience of trying items on. If you want-- strut around like you are on a runway. I LOVE it. Great boot and shoe selection. You could buy a pair for $39, or find a designer pair for $299. Lots of cute faux or real fur items, and a nice jewelry selection. Horrible! Horrible! Don't try to return. I tried to return an item purchased from them with the tags still on. They would not take the return because I did not have an account profile. Who's responsible for setting up the account profile, they are, so I am penalized for not having an account. They did not ask for a credit card to search for the purchase. Nothing. The manger refused to take the item. This feels like profiling to me. I can go to any other store and return items. I NEVER write review but I had to for this store. read more

If you're okay with picking through the spangled madness for a great find, Fox's just might be your place. Sure, a lot of it is pretty low quality and geared toward the Buckhead moms trying to be "hip," but there are also some serious treasures for great bargains. Marc by Marc Jacobs, Theory, L.A.M.B. shoes, Michael Kors, and Laundry are some of the brands you can find if you're willing to really spend some time here. Service is typical of the clientele they're trying to bring in, syrupy sweet trend-clad women who can say things like "EVERY woman just loooooves a gift card from Fox's!" with a straight face. So yeah, it's not perfect. But if you want a party dress or cute top for under $80, head here, you're likely to find just the thing. read more

I love Fox's! It's like my little secret place, because it is tucked away on Roswell Road. They close too early (6 pm) but the stuff there is cool! Somewhat eclectic, its clothing and shoes that you dont find at the mall- for a fraction of the price. I bought a Michael Kors dress for $29 and then found it online for $99! STEAL! They have cute boots for winter, and a lot of sweater dresses, shrugs, cardigans, etc. If you like Free People, there are always a few huge racks dedicated solely to that brand! You can find anything from Betsey Johnson to Kenzie to Calvin Klein to Joes Jeans in here... I even saw a pair of Louboutin's once! They also have a nice selection of designer dresses. The following reason Fox's didn't get five stars: weird dressing room- One big room, so not for the shy/self-conscious hours- close early sometimes the prices are still high... read more

So Fox's a few years ago had SOME cute stuff. You had to look but it was worth it for the finds. The last 4 or 5 times I've gone its been terrible, its literally all kind of blah things, maybe more for the 40 plus crowd? A not trendy 40 plus crowd? You have to have a block of free time to shop at Fox's, but this place is the real deal. Last month, I bought three 'special occasion' dresses for under $150. The inventory is kind of all over the place, so you have to be willing to spend some time going through the racks, but they receive new shipments frequently so stop by often. You might want to be sure you're wearing some pretty undies if you want to try anything on. The dressing room has little cubbies, but no doors/curtains. I paid a visit to Fox's last Saturday evening. They were clearancing items and getting ready for Spring, so I'll have to honestly say I wasn't too impressed with the offerings. There was pretty much nothing but smalls and extra smalls and a lot of it was not my style anyway. With the exception of one complete bitch the staff is very friendly. They have complementary coffee with flavored creams and cookies which I thought was kind of cute. Even though I didn't rack up a major haul or fall head over heels in love with them as I thought I would, I will definitely go back every now and then to browse. It's a very neat, but cramped store. Neat in that every thing has a place, but cramped in that it could probably stand to be larger so that so many things aren't in the SAME place. To me that makes it a bit daunting especially if you're not really in the "mood" I think the jewelery is waaaaaaaay over priced as were most of the shoes that appealed to me. I did manage to find a cute sweater in my size for 25 bucks which is OK, but compared to my one true love ROSS, not a steal. FYI, they do take debit but not credit cards. Still indifferent bout this spot, sorta like a boutique but larger. If you want a unique outfit that you won't see duplicated x5 in the streets, come here. Many of the clothes are for the woman with style in her middle age. Some clothes are geared toward they younger ppl and size 0. I do not care for many of the workers b/c they are stuck up like they work on Rodeo dr or something. Shoe collection is nice esp the sandals/flops they have now, a bit pricey at times. A bit too "Buckhead" for me. Lots of bling-y, shiny stuff. Don't even go for their "designer" jeans section - it's all awful cheap and stretchy. Fox's is great if you are willing to be patient and stop by frequently! I usually go to Fox's when I'm looking for a fun/trendy outfit for the weekend... I recently purchased a pair of tan gladiator heels and a turquoise cocktail dress, both priced at $19!! The ladies who work at Fox's are terrific and really know the inventory. If you feel overwhlemed definitely ask them for help- they usually know exactly where to go in the store to find what you are looking for! read more

My Go -To- Place. I have been shopping at Fox's for years. I always find something cute there regardless of what I'm looking for. I have so many pieces in my closet from Fox's that it's ridiculous.!! I will admit that they have stopped carrying some of the lines catered to a younger crowd , but you're always bound to find something cute, hip &chic; whether it's a pair of booties or a cute Karl Lagerfield sweatshirt... they also have a nice selection of jewelry. I got a Cynthia Steffe skirt for $12. The same skirt that was STILL in the department stores and selling for more than $350. I don't know how they do it, I think it falls off a truck. They have an excellent selection of bohemian clothing. Free People, Cynthia Steffe and many more names I can't recall right now. It's like a larger and MUCH less expensive Anthropology. OK ladies, this place is amazing. But don't go in there looking for something specific. Although, the times I have gone looking for something specific, I have lucked out! I needed a pair of silver strappy shoes for my New Year's Eve dress and found them immediately. Yesterday, I stopped in on my lunch break to see if they had any cute cocktail dresses to wear to a party in New York. I tried on about 10 with no luck. On my way out, however, I found a rack I had missed the first time around and ended up buying three dresses! Two were Matty M dresses for $29 each! They only take debit, cash or checks and the return policy is with receipt within three days. Some of the juniors stuff is a little blingy, but if you can navigate through, you are sure to find something adorable. And chances are, you won't ever run into someone wearing the same outfit as you! Definitely check it out, the brands are pretty good, so the quality for the most part is also great. Ignore the sales staff if you can and make sure to hit every rack--there is more than likely something perfect hiding in there! read more

A really good place to find some unique items. I have been looking for a pair of gold skinny jeans and found exactly what I was looking for there. They have a great selection of different brands and styles at discounted prices. Find something that doesn't look like what everyone else has. Lots of cool shoes to choose from too! Imagine Chico's and Nordstrom Rack having a baby that was born in Idaho. They have a great inventory of dated goods and certainly appeal to a niche, judging by the totally bobbed-out over 40 clientele (including me, sans bob). There is a nice selection of cashmere sweaters and prices are ok. I didn't see any Gucci, Prada-ish stuff, but plenty of Calvin, Free People, Rachel by Rachel Roy and Franco Sarto. A lot of the off-brands appeared to be of lesser quality. read more

Fox's has very attentive and knowledgeable sales women. They have an interesting selection of merchandise which you don't see everywhere. You do have to search but it's fun if you enjoy the hunt. Recently I found a great skirt but asked the staff to bring me a blouse to try it on with. They brought such a great blouse that I got the entire outfit. Lovely and surprising selection. I've had some of my best steals in this shop. Just recently got a Marc Jacobs dress for an obscenely little amount of money. A great shop - the only catch is the sizes are limited so you have to get lucky. I used to absolutely love this store. I work in sales and marketing and my image is important to me. I used to be able to find totally unique and really low priced items to help me in this goal. I have been shopping here since way before they moved out of their Buckhead location and up to Sandy Springs. While I still shop at Fox's, some things have changed that have turned it from WOW into MEH and sometimes EEK. Their selection seems more tailored to an older crowd now. I don't mind but it's not as fun as it used to be. I stopped coming here at all about a year ago (until recently). I found an item on a rack with a big stain, and brought to their attention and found it back on the floor. I brought it back again and said there must have been an error and was told, "Mr Fox sells all items as is, we don't remove items damaged from the floor." When I questioned why it wasn't even noted damage she very rudely told me that since items are as is, it was up to the customer to look for damages. I was stunned, as this policy isn't listen anywhere. I was more stunned because even now I remember how rude she was, and how shocked the other woman's face was who was helping me. I said I'd never come back... But I have a few times since. It's just not the same... Between having different product line and worrying about what is going to be damaged, I think I'm better off at almost any other discount store. But I come in now and then when just looking around, it's still definitely worth browsing. read more

While I have found some good buys here I guess I don't go often enough to be on a first name basis and so I feel I did not get much attention. They also don;t really advertise that they do debit or cash only until you are about to pay which wasn't a big deal but could be embarrassing if you intended to use credit. I also find the dressing room style very odd where it is one big room sectioned off for you to try things on. Maybe I am conservative but don't really care for other people seeing me try my clothing on. Maybe it is an anti-theft thing but a little uncomfortable if you are not expecting it. I don't really want to see other people trying on either!! Like I said I have found things here but as others mention in reviews can be hit or miss. Today was the absolute worst shopping experience I've had to date, and I shop A LOT. I spent an hour going through the store selecting items I liked. Even with working a sales person to handle my selections, both sales associates and customers alike, were allowed to take whatever they liked from my selections. Fox's is great if you're willing to take some time to really scour the racks and see what gems you can turn up. But it's hit or miss. Some days it's possible to come out with a full load of awesome items, and other days I find myself wondering what their buyers were thinking when they brought something to the store. It's a mixed bag, ranging from trendy pieces to items designed to cater to a more mom-ish set, but you can score some awesome finds if you go back regularly. So why two stars? Shopping at Fox's is always, inevitably a miserable experience. They seem to hire two types of people: 1) incredibly overbearing customer service representatives who absolutely refuse to leave you alone and allow you to shop in peace. They'll follow you around the store and attempt to involve you in long, rambling, borderline insane conversations. I've left the store on more than one occasion to get away from the intrusive staff. 2) overtly, shockingly, smugly hostile employees. There are two or three staffers who are probably the rudest employees I have ever encountered at any store, anywhere. They are completely unapologetic about their rudeness. They walk away when you ask for help, bump into you and refuse to say, "Excuse me," or scoff when you want a dressing room. Normally I'd stop patronizing a place with such rude staff, but the rudeness is actually so over-the-top that it's sort of entertaining in its own right. read more

Buyer beware...Ive been a great fan of the store especially for evening wear....But be weary if anything happens to your merchandise. It doesn't matter if it breaks, tears or rips, if it's past the three day return policy---you will be treated like crap by the store manager, disregarded, and with the lowest level of customer of service. The funny thing is, I didn't even ask for money--I just told her my shoe broker (which was embarrassing enough) and hat I only wore once and asked what they could offer and I had to stand in humiliation as she talked on the phone to her "manager" and said that I bought them on discount --a discount that should not have been even given."
