The salon looked shabby, the interior temperature was cold, and the shampoo water was lukewarm at best. My stylist rubbed my forehead frantically trying to remove dye on my skin at my hairline, but her effort was in vain. Imagine my surprise when I got home and saw my skin dyed brown. What was the "best" part of my experience - the children running around the salon, spinning in chairs, sitting under dryers, and leaving the outside door open to let in cold air. The children were not customers, they were related to employees of the salon. I will not return to Marilyn's.
