I have worked here in 2015-2017. (I had no children at this time). As a staff member and now a mom I would definitely send my child here. I absolutely love working here! I came back to work for the summer of 2021 and 2022. I hope to come back every summer. My Preschool is off during the summers so I come here. My daughter has attended Covenant and loves it! Our Daughter has been at CCCC for 3+ years, we have had a great experience in each classroom. Ms. Sharon (director) and Ms. Stacey have been great to communicate with regarding our daughters development, and additional programs. Her teachers have been very interactive, engaged and caring. Ms. Lisa has been an absolute standout, she has created very enriching programs, that our daughter and the other students love talking about, the homework she assigns allows the learning to continue at home and for us take part in our daughters development. In our daughters time here, she has learned so much (and loves learning), has built strong friendships and CCCC has instilled very strong values. Having this be our first child we shopped preschools extensively. We settled on CCCC after hearing good things and enrolled our son. He was in the 2's classroom and we had issues from the beginning. Our son is nonverbal and is still working on his communication, so I understand he's harder to understand than other kids his age. Sharon kept making remarks that she thought he could be autistic or that me and my husband should take parenting classes. She also insisted that we go have his hearing retested, making us believe it would help his speech, so we did get exams done at Phoenix Children's, which he passed with flying colors. So other then it being a huge waste of time we were left with the bill. Then the issue of the kids not being watched properly arose. One afternoon I got out of my car to pick him up and I heard him screaming at the top of his lungs on the playground. I ran over to him and asked the teacher what happened. She looked up from her phone smiling and said "oh he's fine he probably just got stuck up there" (on the playground) I just looked at her like seriously?! Why didn't a screaming child get your attention. You're literally in charge of 4 kids, you can't glance up from your phone for 2 seconds and make sure he's okay? One evening during his bath I noticed he had a huge bite mark on his back. And I mean like a welt. You could see every tooth mark and the inside was all bruised. I asked all his teacher what happened and of course nobody saw anything but other teacher let me know there was a "biter in the class" When I brought up his injuries to the director she replied that the kids were "probably in retaliation" like seriously?!!! My son was so bad that the kids were ganging on him to what? Teach him a lesson? It was ridiculous. The director is impossible to talk to. You say anything that's not perfectly positive about the school and she immediately turns it on your kid making it seem like everything's perfect except for your kid being there. I wasn't going to have my son go to a place where he was being blamed for the schools problems. I pulled him out of school that morning and we haven't been back. We've seen found a new school for him that's just miles above this place. They actually care how the kids interact with each other and don't let bad behavior multiply throughout the class. I've heard Biltmore Prep is a great school but CCCC is just not up to par with other preschools in the area. So happy my son wasn't here any longer than he was. read more

CCCC has been such a wonderful place for my 2yr old son! We were recommended to come here by friends of ours. My husband and I love that the school is tucked away and very safe. My son, of course was timid at first, but quickly expressed ease and comfort. Everyday at drop off he forgets to say goodbye to us He loves being there, and is very attached to his teachers. The school works like a big family and everyone from every classroom knows my sons name. It's a very good feeling being a full time working mom, that my son is spending his days here. He comes home with paintings and crafts on a regular basis. I really love the extra activities they do; water play, holiday treats, movie day, and every Friday they have "Music Rick" come and play guitar and sing songs with the kids! My son LOVES music day. They have a member app that they upload pictures/videos of your children on, and I get to see my son while I'm working He is learning so much and has started talking so much more! The staff is great and I truly have no worry when I'm at work. Stacey is the office manager and I can't say enough nice things about her. She treats my son like her own and just exudes love. She's the perfect person for her job; always understanding and always available. For the parents out there who are looking for a place to trust with your children- this is it. CCCC is like a big loving family!!! When I was researching preschools I wanted a place where my children were not only learning but also making memories and having fun. The best part of Covenant is, along with the loving and fun environment, the children are taught so well. The learning starts in the One's room and continues all the way through Kindergarten and After-School. From social skills to academics, Covenant covers it all. (And does it well!!) Your child is not just a number at CCCC, they are an individual, and it shows. Both of my boys went to Covenant and even though they are now teenagers, they still talk about the fun they had and the memories they made!! Absolutely horrible experience I wouldn't wish on any child or any parent. Lazy staff, uncaring, not loving and incompetent. There seems to be something off about the director as well. Very cold. I enrolled my son and he attended a total of 2 days before I ultimately removed him. One of the teachers accidentally voice recorded herself yelling and speaking very aggressively to my 18 month old son on day 2. Apparently he has spit up on himself and she was scolding him, yelling and using profanity. She texted me the voice recording by accident and when I opens the voice text and heard the way my son was being treated my heart sank and I felt physically il from disgust. The schools director refunded my money and we removed my son. To the best of my knowledge the teacher was not fired. This was over a year ago and we've since found a loving and wonderful school for my son. It still bothers me to this day thinking back to the experience. CCCC has been the absolute best to me and my family! I am a single mother who works and the teachers are the most loving and most helpful with my schedule. They help me a ton and go above and beyond with making sure my girl is safe and cared for. Her teachers from the past will come hangout with her even when they are done working. The school takes pride in who they have watch and teach the kids, which is the best thing I could ask for. They are so dedicated and loyal to their job. My Grandson who is 21/2 did not have a positive experience with this school. Teachers were not attentive when they should have been instead talking on their cell phones. My grandson had multiple injuries in the very short time he attended there. When the injuries were brought to the attention of the director her response was it could of been in retaliation rather than she would look into the situation. I only write this for future parents to be aware of. I wish I would have known this before subjecting my grandson to this lack of care and understanding. CT read more

Love Covenant Child Care Center! My children both attended from the time they were two up through Kindergarten and into the summer programs and after school care. Each class room teacher was loving and kind, they were always there to fill me in on my kids days. Both my kids would ask to go to school even on days they could have stayed home but they loved school so much and they got bored with just me. It was nice to know they felt so at home there. The director is kind and friendly and always ready to lend a listening ear or share her extensive knowledge about kiddos. The Kindergarten teacher is awesome, the kids adore her and I believe it's the best class in Phoenix. Covenant is amazing and I know my kids are better for their experiences here. read more

My son attended this center for approximately 4 months in the two-year classroom. In those 4 months, my son regressed emotionally and academically. Every morning, instead of being greeted with friendly faces and big hugs (as should be the case with little ones), my son was greeted with a scowl and an unhappy environment. The clinging to my legs and hysterical sobbing should have been the first indicator of the type of place Covenant truly was. The main teacher in the two year old room, Patti, was about as unfriendly as they come. The Director of the school, Sharon, even took it upon herself to describe Patti as "gruff." Gruff does not begin to describe the personality of the woman who took care of my son for four months. Unfriendly, cold, detached maybe, but gruff certainly wasn't enough to encompass the personality of this woman. The only saving grace in this classroom was Priscilla, the assistant teacher, who was sweet but misguided and really unsure of what she needed to be doing at any given moment. My son begged for us to not leave him there, and I should have listened four months ago. Two year olds should be allowed to work together (cooperative play), create independently (use their imaginations), be instructed with small amounts of word work every day to practice letters, letter sounds and numbers, etc. Instead, my son sat ALONE on a carpet every single morning with a bucket of toys that were more suitable for 9-18 month old children, sobbing and begging me not to leave him. Patti demanded (truly) the children sit upright, with their legs facing forward, with the bucket in between their legs, and that they remain there silently until she made them switch to a new bucket. TWO YEAR OLDS SHOULD NOT BE SILENT (OR EVEN QUIET) FOR 80% OF THEIR DAY. This is their time to spread their wings and learn new words and grow and create! I am a teacher, so believe me, I should know. About two and a half months into our experience at Covenant, my son came home and told me in the bathtub that night that Ms. Sharon had "grabbed his arms really hard and told him to stop crying like a little baby." While I know two year olds over-exaggerate, I don't know a single parent who wouldn't take that sort of accusation seriously and attempt a discussion with the Director. Instead of having a normal conversation, one where I was not accusatory but needed clarification and she explained what truly happened, she instead offered me my registration fee back and told me I could remove my son from the school. That was my second indicator that something was terribly wrong. She had every opportunity to explain the situation but she became defensive, argumentative and downright rude. I began immediately searching for a new preschool to take my son. I could not wait to remove him from this "school" and would never recommend it to a friend, or enemy for that matter. I can say that I have no experience with the one year old teacher or the three year old preschool teacher, but that they often had very nice smiles and were very sweet to me when I saw them. Covenant has some of the warmest, friendliest and most caring teachers and director you'll find. They've created a family environment and I've been thrilled with the progress both of my girls have made while in their care. When my youngest started in the one year old room, she was behind physically and struggling with the movement that came easily to the other kids. The 2 outstanding one year old teachers, Marissa and Kaylen, spent so much time working with her and I was thrilled to receive videos of them cheering for her and encouraging her as she walked across the room for the first few times unassisted. She was soon walking like the others, but just as important was the confidence they instilled in her. With the help of the one year old teachers she has transformed from a quiet, passive baby into a confident, funny, sassy little girl. The room is bright and clean, the vibe is loving and welcoming and every time I walk in both teachers are engaged in songs, dances, or games with the babies. It is obvious that both of these amazing women love their babies and the feeling is mutual. I knew I'd made the right choice in care when I was dropping my daughter off the other day and as we approached the one year old room, my normally clingy little girl broke away from me into a "run" to get to her room as fast as she could. I couldn't think of two people I would trust more completely with my little one than Marissa and Kaylen. I've had an equally positive experience with my older daughter in the three year old class. Debbie, Juanita and Sarah have been endlessly creative coming up with activities to keep my daughter and her class engaged and happy. The threes class has offered her so much opportunity to participate in different activities- from music to creative movement to the story lady to gymnastics. I love knowing that when I have to leave her each day, thanks to Covenant her day is filled with fun and she's challenged to learn new things. So... I want to address the review from the mother who wrote terrible things about a teacher who has worked at covenant for years. My son was also in the twos room at the same time. My son adores ms. Patti. He is the type of child who flourishes in a structured environment. Even now, while he has been moved up to the 3's, sees his old teacher and gets so happy. He loves her and ms.priscilla dearly. As far as Ms. Sharon, the director, she is extremely kind. She truly cares about each individual child. She has helped my son immensely while some pretty dramatic changes happened in our family. She always has a listening ear and thinks of ways to problem solve. I cannot believe a person would go as far as to bash a teacher using her real name. Shame on you. It's tacky and uncalled for. I love covenant... My son loves it as well. read more

This is our 5th year at Covenant. My son has been there since he was 1 and through all of Pre-school and is now in after school care while in Kindergarten. His first year was spent at a national child care facility that simply cannot hold water to the loving enriched environment he has since been able to enjoy at Covenant. I am so appreciative of the fact he is well prepared emotionally and mentally for the Biltmore Prep School curriculum. He has always LOVED his teachers and still enjoys seeing them on campus now that he is a "big boy". The after school care is perfect as I need to be able to receive care that includes days school is out. Sharon and Ronnie (in the office) have been wonderful to work with. The fact they are on the school campus has many benefits beside the fact my child does not need to be transported anywhere at the end of the school day. During his time here he was diagnose at age 1 with hearing issues, been able to attend preschool while having a broken leg (play ground accident on vacation), begun Spanish lessons, started soccer and so much more that was not available elsewhere. As a parent, there are few times in life where you feel like you really nailed it and choosing Covenant was one of them for me. read more
