Despite the high bill, 2 of the items allegedly completed by this company did not work. We completed one by ourselves (non-tech people) in 7 minutes. When caught in act they claimed the HOA who hired them gave them the permission to do so. First of all HIA is not who pays our power bills. Then when asked if they will replace this cost they denied that they ever even used your power. What a lying crooked company. The owner then claimed if it had happened he would have stopped it. Ok, how? When? At what point? And what were you going to use as your power source for all those power tools with cords? Even the compressor needed to be powered. He pitched to me a carpenter that could take care of a small item we needed help with on a cabinet. He included this in his estimate and we agreed to terms. It was like pulling teeth to get the carpenter to do the job, and ultimately, did not do the job, and Billy did adjust the final payment. As for the painting, we had to have the crew back to fix obvious issues, other areas agreed to that were not completed, and still did not pick up their mess. Another area of concern was we found beer in our fridge from his crew. He investigated and said it was for a friend after they completed work...which is quite suspect. Given the quality of the services, I could see them having some beers as part of their day-to-day... I would rate the painting overall 2 stars. I frankly could have done a better job...I just didn't want to paint the entire place (every wall, every ceiling). They did remove popcorn ceiling in a couple rooms and that effort was good quality. If I had to do this again, I would have went with a couple other options/companies that were within the same quote value as Billy's team at Daygig Painting. Billy is a decent person, and it pains me to rate so poorly, but ultimately, for the cost of this job, the value was just not there. I wouldn't recommend doing more business with this company.
