Last summer, we did end up hiring Albert to fix a leak coming from our bathroom. He seemed very…read morenice on the phone and was very responsive into action. He diagnosed the leak to be coming from the shower pan. As a result, we paid him roughly $11k to completely redo the shower and also remove the shower block windows that appeared to be a secondary leak source discovered after. As we were dealing with the issue remotely, he sent plenty of progress photos and cleaned up after the project well. The problem initially seemed fixed. Unfortunately, the identical leak started again within a year, and we scheduled a date for him to check on the shower but he never made it. We rescheduled for another date but he also failed to show up for that and has ignored our messages to remediate the issue. The problem was either misdiagnosed or incorrectly remediated. Either way, we will have to find another contractor to fix what Albert didn't. Two stars rather than one as he was very pleasant and responsive during the initial project.

I have pictures and will post it. I've refinished tubs myself before, so I know it should not be peeling at all, but especially when it was done less than four weeks ago. I don't think he used the kit I purchased because he quickly removed the containers before I could see them. There was also a very small laminate flooring repair job I paid him for that was not done well at all, and he left a greasy residue on my floors and did not try to correct it or clean it up. I ended up having remove the oily mess myself. I give his personality a B+ but his work I give a D- I would not recommend his services. I now have a very good and dependable handyman that does great work and is more affordable than Honest Greene. I believe all those "so call" 4 star positive reviews on his site is BOGUS! His work does not look anything like those pictures. Yelp, should really investigate these businesses before putting these services on this site for people to trust and think they are getting what they're paying for.
