The colors are fresh and I love how they patched cracks and caulked things in. I give them 3 stars for a few reasons. The first being the mess. Our house was EXTREMELY dusty with gypsum when we arrived home at the end of the project, even in the insides of closets that hadn't even been painted. It took us days to wash and wipe everything down, and we were sneezing and itching the whole time and had to wear masks. I was told that everything would be cleaned with Simple Green, so it was very disconcerting that it clearly wasn't. Even now, weeks later, you can bump a baseboard and white dust will fall off/out. We have green overspray on our light colored stamped concrete walkway and the exterior siding of the house around it, texture on the tops of ceiling fans and light switches, and paint drips on our interior wooden floors, which had been covered. It seems like while we were home they were very meticulous, but while we were gone they felt free to be sloppy and disregard our property and belongings. Second, they removed a ceiling fan at my request, which I appreciated, but we came home to it broken, with paint all over it, and found it sitting in the pouring rain on the porch. Needless to say, we had to purchase a new ceiling fan and are very bummed that the old one is no longer usable. Third, I was not pleased that my request for a change order was ignored. The estimator, Rodger, was great. Friendly, accommodating and promised me the world. Once I signed the contract, though, I never heard from him again. I had sent him a change order in writing two days after I signed and never heard back. I figured he maybe would tell the crew what I wanted. I felt like I had to hound the project manager about things that weren't done "correctly" because nobody ever acknowledged the change order. I even told him what I wanted more than once, and offered to pay extra to ensure they got done. But in the end I just gave up on getting everything I wanted.

He was the most responsive from the initial contact and continued through the day of the job. This was a job to repatch my shower ceiling, which property management and their team's initial work left me with a lot of concerns. Joe was very thorough and called me to ask questions about the pictures I uploaded to better understand the situation and had suggested that I save my money since the "repair" was just done, but for the sake of peace of mind, I asked that he redo the work property management didn't do correctly. Joe was ready to go on the day of the job and arrive early, inspected the scope of work once more, and made one last attempt at having me save my money by holding off but I insisted on moving forward. He showed me the area he worked on (my area of concern) before closing it up. Before I knew it, he was done with the job and even took care of the painting for me that I spent several days overthinking how'd I shower if primed and painted it after I got off work instead. Job well done and I wouldn't hesitate to call him again if I needed work done.

Mathew was responsive, prompt, and the picture of professionalism, from the initial visit and estimate to job completion. We received daily updates, often with photos, describing what was completed and what to expect the next day. Mathew also managed subcontracting and invoicing for home improvement projects related to the painting job (drywall and siding repair, door replacement) and was well connected with other local, reputable contractors whom he recommended for non-painting related projects. Everything was cleaned up and all trash disposed, both daily and at the end of the project. In terms of cost, their bid was very reasonable amidst a very wide range of estimates (3X difference from lowest to highest!), and they finished under budget and within the predicted timeframe. Not only were we impressed with the quality of work, but we found Mathew to be extremely personable, down to earth, and easy to talk to. His crew was friendly, hardworking, and professional.
