This clinic is in the cell phone waiting lot across the street from PSP Airport. We made an "appointment' the night before for a rapid NAAT testing ($199) and selected an appointment time of 9:00-9:30am. This was for a 12:30 pm flight to Canada and because our Labcorp "2 day turnaround" testing hadn't come back in time 4 days later. Cost for rapid NAAT testing was $199. They open at 9am so that was the earliest available "appointment" time. Results were indicated to be "generally within an hour". I put appointment in quotes because as others have said you don't really have an appointment. It's essentially first come first served, but you do have to book and pay ahead of time to be able to show up. As far as I could tell, testing without booking ahead of time wasn't possible. I saw the reviews here (thanks!) and decided we should show up closer to 8:30a. Photos is the line when we showed up. We got nose swabbed around 9:15a. We went and grab some breakfast and got our results emailed around 10:15a. All this because our other (not rapid) test didn't come back in time from LabCorp (cost was $120, promised turn around was 2 days, but it's been 4). I think this clinic is worthwhile for travel testing. I just do think you ought to play it safe and get rapid tested the day before if you can. As other's have also pointed out, it could be better organized and signage for FAQs would be helpful. read more

Covid Clinic - Line at 8:30am - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Palm Springs, California

I made an appointment for 3:15pm for a rapid PCR test on the website. Website says results usually within one hour. Got there at 3, waited for about 30 minutes, then an employee came and told me that they were not doing any more rapid tests that day because they close at 4 and it takes 2 hours for them to do a test. She told me to come back in the morning at 9. I went back at 8:45, got tested by 9:15. Employee said about 1 1/2 hours for results. It's now 5:15pm and I don't have results. I emailed customer service around 3, got a (likely automatic) response saying that I would be emailed my results and that they have "elevated" my request to the results department. They do not take insurance. So I'm out $125 for a stick up my nose with no results. This was the Palm Springs airport location. read more

The idea behind this is a good one, although good ideas need a good execution and that's where Covid Clinic has room for improvement. The process of scheduling online seems convenient enough (not sure I see the point to all of their questions) but you might as well throw your appointment time out the window. Once you arrive, the lines are long and you're lucky to be tested within the same hour. One primary reason for the delay is that people keep walking up to their testers/staff and interrupting them with questions. The other flaw is promoting one-hour test results and not delivering anytime near that. I paid for expedited results that didn't come back for twelve hours. A few easy fixes would make for a much better experience: Have people schedule within a window of time rather than a specific one. Upon arrival, have a few very large signs displayed addressing commonly asked questions (e.g., walkup appointments are not accepted, how to schedule your appointment, wait in your car for someone to check you in, etc.). Lastly, set broader, more realistic ETA on test results. I applaud the concept and think that the service is a valuable one but it doesn't work if you can't deliver on the expectations you set. read more

I was highly skeptical of this place based upon all of the reviews, and it turns out that every single one of those complaint-reviews is accurate! I booked a $300 rapid PCR test because I need the results for international travel, so my hands are tied when it comes to options. At this rate, you would expect it to come with great service and a glass of champagne. Sadly, this is what I received: - I was the only person there when I went to do my test. The entire area is outside, in the heat. So be prepared in case it gets busy. - I was not wearing a mask when I walked up because it's outdoors and no signs were saying I should wear one. All of a sudden, a voice shouts at me from inside one of the containers "You NEED to WEAR your MASK". I said "Ok sorry" and put it on. Out walks the lady that was shouting at me, with her mask on her chin. - She tells me that I will be performing my own swab, which is fine. She puts gloves on and then said "Normally, I have to wear a protective jacket too, but it's too hot so I'm not going to do that". I just said "Ok that's fine". Why would you tell me this though..? - She tells me I will have my results within the next 2 hours. I did get an email an hour later HOWEVER, the document said Rapid ANTIGEN test instead of PCR. - I full on panic because I don't know if they ran the sample through the wrong machine, if they would have to re-do the test or what. So, I call the number but of course it's a phone tree, so I got in my car and started driving back there. Meanwhile, I got someone on the phone who did not apologize but just said that she'd put in a request to fix it. As if I have any faith in that at this stage. - I get to the site, get completely ignored by the first nurse that walks past me. The second lady that came out interrupted me at the start of my sentence and said "Yeah we're fixing it already". I said "Ok, well, I will wait right here until I have the correct document because I don't trust it anymore". She literally said "You can take yo attitude and go wait in yo car". EXCUSE ME WHAT?! Who treats customers like this?! This place screams incompetence and for 300 bucks, you might as well drive to LAX and have your rapid PCR done for $125 (or $199 for instant results). read more

I flew internationally so I had to get a Covid PCR test. So I made an appointment outside the Westfield Mall in Palm Desert. I choose the $150 test that their website says gives results by 11:59pm of the second day, which was prior to my departure. The results came in at 10am on the 3rd day, which were too late to be used to board my flight. I contacted Covid Clinics and they gave me half my money back. I still paid $75 for test results that were useless to me. Stick to the free tests. Don't waste your money. read more

Covid Clinic changed from drive thru to walk in without notification in their web site. Obviously this was to get more revenue from those willing to pay for rapid tests. I stood 2.5 hours in line with no chairs and no accommodation for handicap or senior citizens. This is a senior community and covid clinic should consider their location before deciding to make profit over community. read more

Have to say at an uncomfortable time.. they really made us feel comfortable and safe I had the best experience with my children and I Brooklyn and shavon (excuse my spelling) definitely helped us through out our appointment thankful for their kindness and professionalism thank you again read more

We had a very positive experience at this centre - I know the covid situation has been evolving quickly, which could explain why we did not experience any wait today. The staff there was great, courteous and very helpful (shoutout to Consuelo!), and they maintained covid protocol at all time. We arrived at our appointed time, and were able to get quickly tested. We received our results within a couple of hours as expected. The only thing to note is that the testing site is outside of the airport itself, but nearby and easy to find, and parking is definitely not an issue. read more

I made an appointment for 1:30 and wasn't seen until past 4 pm. The wait time defeats the purpose of making appointments. I did a PCR test which is supposed to have results in 2-3 days and 6 days later, I just received my results. My quarantine is essentially over in the time it took for me to get results. read more

CovidClinic.org. Was a drive thru clinic now it is a walk thru. You must have an appointment which right now is more than a week out for PCR testing. My experience today was STANDING in line for 3 hours, with 1 person managing the appointment and 1 person taking the sample. REMEMBER by appointment only so they KNOW how many people will be showing up per hour. 3 HOUR WAIT - STANDING IN LINE. Wouldn't you think if you add more appointments you would add more staff to handle the volume......very poorly done. ALSO, I did not see the person taking the sample change her gloves when it was my turn. I watched her the entire time - when I asked her she said she changed them in the booth, but for every other person she changed her gloves in front of them....just saying I think she didn't follow that protocol. 1/9/2022, Palm Desert location in the parking lot of the mall UPDATE on 1/11/22 - Still have not received my results. read more

My wife and I went yesterday (Saturday 2/5/22) for the free PCR tests. We made appointments and provided the required information through the website. We arrived around noon and did not have to wait at all. We received our results this morning (Sunday 2/6), instead of having to wait a couple of days. It just doesn't get any better than that! Safe to say that we'll use them again, if we needs tests. read more

These people/this company are the WORST. got a 2 hour turnaround PCR test at the Palm Desert location (Shops at Palm Desert Mall) for $299 after spouse tested positive with symptoms. Still no results after 6 hours, so went back to the location to see what the story was the following morning. Was told that they had "an internet problem yesterday" and they'd send results ASAP. returned home to find the test result they sent was NEGATIVE. then i got a reply to an email i'd sent to a follow-up reply address the night of the test stating that they could see that my results had been sent. those results were POSITIVE. one test; TWO results. so which is it? getting any further info has been impossible, but i did get a refund processed but not yet received... only by returning to the test site THREE times. i STILL don't know if i've had it or not. AVOID this company like a pandemic. they should be investigated. read more
