It's only bad thing is the observation area that lacks stuff to observe. This is a pretty nice park overall.

Blue Ash Nature Park is a nice little getaway in suburban Cincinnati. It's very easy to miss. The…read morepark isn't large, but there's several miles of trails. It also has an amphitheater. This is a good gathering spot. Although it's in a suburb, it doesn't feel like it. It has several miles of trails that are mostly quiet. The only exception is when there's a concert at the amphitheater, but it's usually something like jazz and not ear shattering. Chances are you will have the trails mostly to yourself if there isn't a concert. The trails are covered in gravel, which helps keep your shoes from getting muddy. It has a few public bathrooms. These aren't the cleanest but they are kept up. If you don't know where it is, you may pass it a few times before noticing it. It's located along Cooper Road. The entrance is next to the police station.

This is a great park with a nice location near the Blue Ash Rec Center. There is nice shade throughout the park, which makes it a great choice even during hot, sunny days. The playgrounds have a variety of equipment, so it's worth exploring each of them if you can encourage your little ones to resist the urge to stay only on the first one on the path. One has a sandbox, another has a neat seesaw that little ones can stand on and bounce back and forth with a friend. Well worth a visit!

We took advantage of the paved 1mi trail, which was nice because from all the snow melting the grass was muddy. All along the trail were benches if you wish to take a rest, and doggy bag stations with trash cans. The park has plenty of parking, a really nice play ground, tennis courts, and more. It seemed clean and well kept. Despite being fairly busy, it still felt like there was plenty of room to enjoy yourself. As we were leaving the parks dept was putting up a Go Bengals sign, which I loved! Really shows community spirit!

Juilfs Park is one the township's finest. There are play structures for ages ranging from 2-12 years old. Most of the structures are farm themed. There are themed ways to climb that I have yet to see before. One of the structures has a section where children may stop, and learn about preditor animals. There are buttons to be pushed. Upon doing so, a recording plays with the information. There is a large sandbox that is covered by a sunshade. The toddler play area is covered with a sunshade as well. The large play structure, water play area and swings are not covered. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, a water play area is active. This one is farm themed to match the play structure. The water turns on after 10am. Water is turned off towards the end of the day. Not interested in play structures? No problem. Juilfs Park has a paved walking trail, covered picnic areas, soccer field and baseball field. There are also various "porch swings" around the park. Juilfs Park follows a new trend when it comes to dogs. While dogs are allowed at the park, they are not allowed on or around the play structures. This is for the health and safety of all.

She was wanting to find a local park with a water play area where we could cool off on this hot day. On the internet this park was the only one reporting a functioning water play area. We arrived wearing our swim suits only to be very disappointed. The water play zone is the first thing that you see when you pull in and park and the water wasn't turned on! We decided to stay for a while to let the grandchildren enjoy playing outside on the large jungle jim. It has several places for climbing with curving stone like steps, a wall and a rope spider web. There is a long wide ramp making it very handicap friendly. My 18 month old granddaughter who wasn't walking yet spent a lot of time climbing up the stairs. There are several slides of various sizes and colorful interactive displays with parts that spin and turn in addition to the always fun monkey bars and swings. Off to the right of the jungle jim is a small shelter with 2 picnic tables. Today it was being used by a family having a child's birthday party. There's a shaded bench to sit on and watch the children as they run & play in the water that would be raining down from above and shooting up from below had it turned on that day. After about 20 minutes or so we decided to leave because it was so hot out and my grandson was being disagreeable. We drove to a nice air conditioned restaurant after my son-in-law arrived having driven down to Cincinnati upon getting off of work in the ER. This 90-acre park near the University of Cincinnati includes hiking trails, a fishing lake, a historic bandstand, playgrounds, shelters, picnic areas and a disc golf course?! I went through here the other day to catch the foliage at Cincy's peak and it was spectacular. A great place for a stroll or a picnic when bringing family or friends down to the beautiful gaslight district in Clifton. It feels crazy to me that this big of a park is located in such an urban area. It felt like being back in New England for a hot second. Definitely recommend checking it out during the day vrs. at night.

One of the areas leading down to picnic area gives patrons the option to take the stairs or the slide. I was surprised how many adults chose the slide. At that point there is also a marker "WPA 1940." There are a couple of hiking trails, that would be easily overlooked if one doesn't venture far enough to the left or right from the picnic area. Just like the park itself, these are fairly short trails. Most of the people at the park looked to be college students. As we were about to leave a few more people with younger children started to arrive. We saw one man fishing. One down side is that we had to drive around to find parking. The sides by the campus are by permit only. After driving around we found the street that went into the middle of the park. No permit required, though it does say "2 hr. parking."
