As such, their "delivery" service is SUPPOSED TO be guided by their value proposition that focuses on convenience, and speed for late night deliveries. The GLARING AND OBVIOUS problem I experienced WAS A TOTAL BREAKDOWN, and FAILURE by GOPUFF. WHY? The order NEVER ARRIVED, and HOURS WERE WASTED ON A DELIVERY THAT NEVER HAPPENED. Gopuff employs CUSTOMER SERVICE might well be deserving of an AWARD for the WORST DELIVERY SERVICE EXPERIENCE, of any company. Why? After waiting in my lobby, looking out the window, and staring at the entranceway for a DELIVERY, NO ONE FROM GOPUFF ENTERED THE BUILDING with the order TO ASK FOR THE PIN- THE SAME PIN REQUIRED FOR VERIFICATION TO PLACE THE ORDER, which did NOT include any alcohol products nor smoking items. In fact, they were frozen goods, which WOULD HAVE been ruined upon delivery, IF THE DELIVERY EVER OCCURRED. Both the 24/7 concierge and I were baffled when no one from GoPuff entered the front doors directly in front of us. I sat waiting, and waited FAR BEYOND ANY REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME...2+ HOURS!!! Upon returning upstairs to my home, no one was awake to even experience Gopuff, even IF they arrived hours late. But, that, AGAIN, would entail actually DELIVERING THE ORDER PAID FOR. I contacted customer service by chat 4 times, and emailed them 3 times. They have NO PHONE SUPPORT AVAILABLE. Unlike their owners who built a brand with valuable brand equity, and now must BE MORE FOCUSED ON THEIR MULTIBILLION DOLLAR VALUATION THAN CUSTOMER SERVICE, as is clear by their customer reviews and questions across the internet, I WAS ON CHAT WITH GO PUFF UNTIL AFTER 5:30AM, with NO LESS THAN 7 different representatives. None showed remorse. None showed empathy. All were HORRIFYING problem solvers, and thought that charging me for my order and redelivering it 4-7 HOURS AFTER THE TIME OF DELIVERY WAS THE BEST AND ONLY SOLUTION THEY CAN OFFER, REPEATEDLY reiterating it is "GoPuff's rules and regulations." If those are what their "customer service" manuals afford them, conducting business with GOPUFF IS COMPLETELY unconscionable, and UNACCEPTABLE. It's NOT a convenient NOR EXPEDITED delivery experience, IT'S A NIGHTMARE. Let's circle back to the reason for this service, where, initially, owners did the deliveries. IF THEY DIDN'T deliver AS PROMISED THEIR ENDEAVOR would've ended in their dorm rooms. BUT, when you use INVESTOR MONEY, and INVESTORS ARE BLIND TO MAJOR ONGOING ISSUES, there's little incentive to correct an issue. THE "convenience" is no longer convenient! The order experience comes with a hefty price WELL ABOVE RETAIL PRICING. The entire system, from their frequent ordering service fee, WHICH THEN EXCLUDES discounts on any items marked down by mere cents, TO MAKING AN UNDELIVERED ORDER NON-REFUNDABLE. EITHER EVERY PERSON ASSOCIATED WITH THE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE OR EVERY EMPLOYEE SHOULD BE LET GO, or RETRAINED WITH A MUCH HIGHER DEGREE OF SERVICE THAT GUARANTEES WHAT THEY PROMISE. Why anyone would think their business can treat customers poorly, not do what they are supposed to do, and not attempt to meet or exceed REASONABLE expectations, considering ALL circumstances, is a MAJOR FAILURE. The ONLY WAY Gopuff MIGHT CHANGE, is if you CHOOSR ANOTHER DELIVERY SERVICE, especially when the prices of their items are much higher than retail. WHAT GOPUFF NEEDS IS a COMPETITOR that stays OPEN FOR DELIVERIES 24/7. Therefore, attention: either an existing service or to any and all entrepreneurial STUDENTS- THE MARKET IS OPEN FOR COMPETITION. SIMPLY, PROVIDE EXCELLENT SERVICE, AND HIRE A WORKFORCE employees who understand THE IMPORTANCE OF BRAND EQUITY, BRAND ADVOCATES, AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. My husband had Sesame Crusted Tuna with Rice Noodles and Sesame Green Beans, and Shrimp Scampi with pasta and roasted vegetables. The meals are nutritionally sound but more important taste delicious. They all have a good amount of protein so they keep you fill. Your order the meals online and they will deliver locally. We pick up our meals at the Doylestown YMCA on a designated day. Their Cafe actually sells meals so you can pick up one there to try it. it's nice knowing that even when you're busy, you can eat healthy meals that taste delicious.
