A legend in the area. Came for faschnauts but I'm three days early. In any case, I got a variety of baked goods. A mini apple fritter, boscotti, and a donnoli (a donut with cannoli filling). The latter was soooo delicious!! Nothing fancy about this place. It's located in a house in a residential area. The shop is so tiny that 5 people inside was tight & snaked around. Came to try out this bakery for a possibility of having them at my future event and they did not disappoint! The service was very friendly and attentive to everyone, the prices were great, and so was the quality. The donuts were so fresh and delicious, not too sweet either which we loved. Wasn't a huge fan for the cannoli type donut that a had cannoli filling or the vanilla cupcake but the glazed donut and the Boston cream was really delicious and I love how homemade and fresh tasted, and it didn't leave me with that artificial flavor aftertaste that a lot of big chain donut stores will leave you with. A tiny shop with limited parking. They had a great variety of pastries and breads! I Grabbed a couple baked goods for brunch. I have to say I was disappointed with the overall taste and freshness. I felt that the flavors were really lacking. Thankfully I was able to be dropped off because parking was scarce. There was only one young female working on a busy Sunday morning. I am giving another review after being disappointed with the first one! It seems the bakery has ironed out its kinks. I got a dozen donuts and they were absolutely delicious! Crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The peach pie with a crumb topping was very delectable, nice fresh peach flavor with sweet crumbly topping! Totally hidden gem. It was recently sold to new owners but they have and are making all the old recipes. Including the cannoli filled donuts. They were amazing. Used to open much earlier I would be about 10th in line even though I was 10 minutes early...years ago Got to a spot out front 3 minutes early today, no lines...waited until 7 minutes after posted open time...a few cars slowed and left... Shelves half filled when I got in... A nurse came in and while staff went to back to retrieve something, she stated she had to leave because this was making her late ! Quality is still here !! This is my 5th time visiting the bakery since the new owners. I must disclose that nothing I purchased was preordered. This was walk in only. I arrived at 9:30 and 20 people in line because the limit of 2 customers inside which is great (COVID) I am giving it a 3 star because for the 5th visit the cases still remain empty. I am drawn in by their social media posts but when you get there, its simply empty. I purchased the last cake. There wasn't a pie, cannoli or other dessert in the far right case. If the case doesn't work, fix it or remove it. Every time I'm there it's empty. The window back wall cookie case has never had any product in it. Remove it or fill it. Decorate it with antique baking tools. Do something! The donuts are significantly smaller then before. This was not only my opinion but other long time customers. My total order was $25. It is nice that they now take debit as I was never a cash carrier but this same order before would have been $14. I am assuming the owners are trying to not waste goods and work on orders mainly but honestly it is a shell of what it was. There was never a time you would walk in that bakery and see any case empty. On Christmas if you didn't order bread might it be out? Possibly. The front of the store was never empty. Customers see with their eyes and order what they see. I honestly can appreciate the Mozzelli family large inventory of baked goods and the constant flow to replenish. That communication that they had to the back of the bakery worked and the trays flowed back and forth. I can only suggest as a long time customer that the front of the house get a refresh, the back wall cases are lit so you can see what's in them and all the products are kept together. Donuts are all over the place and cannoli donuts is kept in a refrigerator in the back. I know this business has a small margin of profit but it just isn't up to speed. read more

Spotlessly clean, no frills, no pretension, neighborhood bakery like your grandmother used to shop at. Friendly, attentive and efficient service. The clerk was very helpful and patient as I tried to match up what was in the case with the menu, and make my choices. (Maybe some tags on the case product would have helped?) Lovely pine nut cookies, crispy on the outside with a slightly ooey-gooey inside. Linzer cookies are crispy and well put together. The jelly filling fresh as could be. The cupcakes and other pastries in the case (which I didn't try) looked gorgeous. The loaves of bread nearly glowed they were so perfectly golden-brown. Beautiful food! With one exception... The donuts, frankly could be visually prettier. A little lumpy, a little lopsided, a little messy. Frosting just of slopped on. They look like a five-year-old "helped" in the kitchen. But once you bite into them.... wow... amazing flavor and texture. Wafer thin crust, fluffy crumb, and generous fillings. So. So. So. Good. I've decided the ugly duckling donuts just add to the homey charm of this neighborhood bread and donut joint. read more

I know it's been new ownership, at first I didn't think some of the products were the same, maybe It just took some time to get organized but it seems like some of my favorites are back and as good as they were with the original owners. Five stars because I've never met anyone that doesn't LOVE Easton Baking.. I've been going here since I was a little kid. My dad would always go to get a fresh loaf of bread for breakfast on the weekends and he'd always let me pick out a cookie or a donut. The baked goods are phenomenal. From doughnuts, cakes, brownies to the cookies. I never ate a single bite of something from there that I didn't love. After living 1,000 miles away for the past five years I finally got my hands on some tomato pie this weekend. I bought a box of tomato pie for $18. I called it in the day before and told them what time I'd like to pick it up so it was ready when I got there. If you're not from Easton, you really don't know how great tomato pie is. It's served cold or room temperature and it has a nice doughy crust, topped with lots of delicious, thick tomato sauce. I brought an entire box back on the air plane with me and am slowly killing the entire box by myself. Can't wait until I am back in Easton and can try some more of the delicious treats from Easton Baking! read more

I have been coming to Easton baking since I was a kid. They have a good variety of donuts, cakes, tomato pie, cookies, brownies.. the list goes on. Since the new owners I have tried pretty many things and they all taste as good as always. My favorites are the Cinnabon with chocolate frosting, Italian cookies and the brownies. My first time here. The counter person was super nice. Very efficient and clean. The prices are great and quality of baked goods great. They didn't have cookies this morning so I opted for donuts, couple scones and a couple raspberry cheese danishes, as well as some tomato pie. I cannot stop eating. RUN BY COMPLETE INCOMPETENTS. Went in for a tomato pie. Was told they don't have them until noon. Waited hours (far from home) to return. Came back to a long, long line out the door onto the sidewalk. Stood in line 20 minutes in the cold and rain. Finally got in and was told, "Uh... We don't have any for walk-ins. The person hours ago should have told you you needed to place an order when you were here earlier." WHAT?!? No apologies. GOONS. No, "Here's a little something for next time." Love this bakery but get there early because the food goes fast. I normally don't eat tomato pie because it's drenched in olive oil. This one is not. Doesn't look or feel greasy either. The cakes are delicious. Once upon a time they baked our wedding cake. The cakes are moist and the buttercream is not super sweet. I drive an hour to get to this bakery for all the goodies. We get a huge cookie tray at Christmas and gobble it all up. read more

I love Easton baking and am thrilled that they have kept most of their old recipes. However, I've eaten their donuts my whole life and definitely know the difference in taste and quality between a fresh Easton baking donut and a day old Easton baking donut. I'm an early riser and have gone there two separate times at 6am and 8am and they are definitely selling day old donuts. Had them when buying at 11am (presumably a time they have run out of the day olds) and they are COMPLETELY different. I'm more than happy to welcome the new staff (as much as I miss the old) and think the increased prices are more than fair...BUT PLEASE DO NOT SELL DAY OLD DONUTS. read more

Been craving a good cheese danish lately so gave this place a go after looking at reviews. Cool little bakery with a ton of selections jammed into the cases that surround you when you walk in. To my left danishes were glowing at me and they looked incredible. Got 4 of them and 6 donuts. Danishes were pretty good. Saw a previous review about donuts being small and bakery responded. Donuts are indeed small. Seriously like 1/2 size donuts with full size prices. But tasty so I just ate double lol. My overall experience was good. Quaint, tasty but little pricey. So sad the present owners broke their promise to continue using the original recipes of the former owners. Nothing is the same. Flavor, texture, taste and even the lingering happiness after eating the baked goods are all inferior or nonexistent at this point. Let's hope they rectify their errors and get back to the tried and true products of the past two owners from the initial founding of this landmark institution in Easton. Picked up a larger order on Saturday for a small get together. Ordered cookies, cupcakes, pumpkin roll, donuts, tomato pie and cinnamon buns. The only edible item was the tomato pie. The chocolate chip cookies were so hard we couldn't even eat them. My husband took one bite of the holiday cookies and said they were gross. The cinnamon buns and pumpkin roll was so sweet that they weren't even edible. What a waste of money. The donuts were hard. These new recipes are not good. I miss the old owners and goods that were tasty, reliable, and great prices. I spent 75.00 on stuff that was thrown in the garbage. What a waste. read more

Hearing that the original owners were going to help them learn the recipes and help them along the was was a plus also. Well you can't teach customer service apparently!!!! This place recently re-opened and although things are slightly different from the prior owner, they still have wonderful products. Their stuff is just absolutely great. Fantastic bread and awesome french baguette. Their muffins and pastry are also just as great. Really nothing to complain about as far as food goes. Unfortunately you can never buy anything because they never have anything in stock. And I really do mean ANYTHING. It's unbelievably frustrating! Shelves are empty. The bread baskets are empty. The place is always out of everything. Doesn't matter what time of day you come in. Really, how do you run out of simple bread at 8/9 AM? Wonderful tomato pie !!! Just as I remembered as a kid growing up in Phillipsburg NJ. Waited patiently for them to reopen. Drove half hour to get here. Even at 2:30 in afternoon it was fresh, soft, saucy and DELICIOUS. Couldn't even wait to get home we pulled over to immediately enjoy it.
