Over the last year I have been helping my sister search for her first house. I honestly have to say that every time it involves Cowan, we know it won't be a good experience. The lack of response from Cowan is very frustrating. Even if an offer hasn't been accepted, people still deserve a response so that they can move on. Maybe I could understand if it was a ridiculously low offer. When an offer is at asking price or above with no major contingency it's just good practice to respond. What is the point of putting a deadline on a contract offer if no one feels the need to abide by the timeframe? Deciding to buy a home is such a big step for an individual. When an agency doesn't have the courtesy to call you and let you know any information it's incredibly disheartening. Had this been a one time experience maybe I could accept it easier but definitely not the case here. read more
