They quoted between $10,000 and $20,000 for the job. ​To put that in perspective, I previously had my entire basement waterproofed--which took an 8-man crew a full week of heavy labor, jackhammering concrete, outer perimeter excavation, and pouring new stone/concrete--for that same price range. ​Laying down plastic in a crawl space requires a few hundred dollars in materials and basic labor, not specialized trade craftsmanship, engineering, or years of apprenticeship. Quoting up to $20,000 for basic vapor barrier installation is completely unreasonable. Get multiple quotes before committing to work here.

Our pump and dump water furnace geothermal system died in January so my wife and I decided to…read moreupgrade to a waterless geothermal system. When the system died we had to go to 100% emergency electric heat. Our house is 3200 SF and the electric bill was $800. Buschur's did a great job during the whole process. Their staff was so knowledgeable, respectful. honest, and friendly. We love the new geothermal, bill has gone down drastically. Also, we had Buschur's put 2 electric, and 2 wood burning inserts in our non functional fire places. Lastly, we had them install a mini split at the far end of the house to help heat and cool. Would definitely recommend Buschur's. We will be using them when our water softener stops working.

I hired him twice..the first time he was very nice respectful and charged a good price and I thought great I found a great guy to work with for things I can't do myself. So when it seemed he completed the work the first time (that now only works intermittently) I was excited to hire him back right away for some other jobs being I've searched for a long time to find a handyman who was honest and would do a good job. I made a whole list of stuff that needed to be done. We discussed the prices and agreed upon them as well as wrote them down. The work was supposed to be done that day but it was not and he insisted on payment immediately assuring me he would return to finish it the next morning. Days later he still had not returned telling me he took other jobs after he started mine (and after he charged me for everything) and he had to do those first. At this point, he had not finished one single project but required me to pay. I should have just said no and made him wait until the work was completed. After charging me almost $500 he is refusing to return and has not completed one job that I was charged for. I am in the process now of working with his business payment provider on an investigation to have my funds returned to me. Luckily I have pictures of all his sloppy incomplete work and his texts to prove that he still did not complete his work and refused to return so thankfully that should be taken care of quickly. UPDATE: After seeing his response here and that he is lying through his teeth I figured I would post my receipts and photos of his work along with our communication back and forth. He is even more dishonest than I thought. BEWARE!!!!
