I got them because the company who ultimately hired/recruited me pretty much told me after I met with them... call these guys and look for a house. So I called them. I dealt with two individuals: Bob and Rob Gamble, father and son team. Though, Rob was ultimately by realtor... his father Bob took me around looking for houses in my first go around as Rob was doing an auction at the time. Bob picked me up from the hotel and while he was looking for houses, he also gave me a tour of the town. He showed me where the local Catholic Church was (I asked because my mother wanted to know), where the hospital was located, where the grocery stores were, the art center, movie theatre and the performing arts center was located. He also got me a tour of the performing arts center! Now that's awesome! He, of course, showed me the houses and that's where I first saw the house I ultimately bought. Beautiful 3 bed, 3 bath, 3 garage house... 1 acre... beautiful house. So many parts of it made me fall in love... the master bath with whirlpool tub... the pine trees all over the yard... the dining room with the columns... Perfect? No it needed some work done... also I wish it had been 4 bed... but it was gorgeous! I later looked at more houses on another day with Rob. Both were patient, understanding and incredibly helpful. Rob went above and beyond as a realtor. He understood I was moving from Miami, and so he helped me as much as he could. I would call him with questions I would normally not ask a realtor like: Do you know a flooring person? Do you know who to call to set up trash pick up? Etc. I bombarded him with questions in all hours of the day... and he was nice enough to answer me... always friendly... always with great advice. When my department threw me a welcome party to welcome me both to the company and to the area, he showed up just to welcome me into town. The gambles are just wonderful realtors and people. If you are looking for a great realtor, call Beegee and ask for either Rob or Bob Gamble. They will find and guide you to the right house.

The lack of response from Cowan is very frustrating. Even if an offer hasn't been accepted, people still deserve a response so that they can move on. Maybe I could understand if it was a ridiculously low offer. When an offer is at asking price or above with no major contingency it's just good practice to respond. What is the point of putting a deadline on a contract offer if no one feels the need to abide by the timeframe? Deciding to buy a home is such a big step for an individual. When an agency doesn't have the courtesy to call you and let you know any information it's incredibly disheartening. Had this been a one time experience maybe I could accept it easier but definitely not the case here.

I had the good fortune to meet JJ Skorupski last Tuesday evening. I'm a 66 yo man who is preparing…read moreto retire to a life of boondocking on BLM land out west in my ,new to me, toy hauler RV. I was coming back from Nappanee, In after having $40k of solar installed. On the way back to Ohio I followed the GPS in my truck. It took me off of Rt. 30 onto surface streets. I followed the GPS as it had me turn left. A 1/4 mile down that road was an underpass marked 9' 9". My RV was 11.5 feet tall before the panels were installed. I stopped and got out of my truck to try to figure out what to do. I was holding up traffic and people were being nasty, honking horns, cussing at me, no one interested in trying to help. Until JJ showed up. He asked if I'd like help and I said YES. He went to where I'd needed to back up to another street and get out. He blocked the street with his truck informing those waiting what we were going to do. I was at the other end trying to stop traffic. An off duty police officer was waiting and when she got to me she rolled down her window to scream at me, but offered no help. Once we were ready to back it up, JJ could see I'm a rookie at backing up my rig and asked if I wanted him to take over. Again I answered YES. He jumped in and got it out of the was in 30 seconds. Afterwards people kept honking their horns angrily while others continued to spew obscenities. JJ handed me his card and told me how to get back on track. JJ could have driven by, he could have honked his horn or cussed me out too. Instead, he saved the day. I've lost most faith in humanity these days, but JJ has restored it. Based on my experience, I know all I need to know about JJ and by inference, his company. I can't find the words to properly thank JJ. If I lived in his area, he and TopLine would get all of my business. Adversity doesn't build character, it exposes it. JJ has been exposed as wonderful human being. I am in his debt. Thank you JJ, you saved my bacon!

I hired him twice..the first time he was very nice respectful and charged a good price and I thought great I found a great guy to work with for things I can't do myself. So when it seemed he completed the work the first time (that now only works intermittently) I was excited to hire him back right away for some other jobs being I've searched for a long time to find a handyman who was honest and would do a good job. I made a whole list of stuff that needed to be done. We discussed the prices and agreed upon them as well as wrote them down. The work was supposed to be done that day but it was not and he insisted on payment immediately assuring me he would return to finish it the next morning. Days later he still had not returned telling me he took other jobs after he started mine (and after he charged me for everything) and he had to do those first. At this point, he had not finished one single project but required me to pay. I should have just said no and made him wait until the work was completed. After charging me almost $500 he is refusing to return and has not completed one job that I was charged for. I am in the process now of working with his business payment provider on an investigation to have my funds returned to me. Luckily I have pictures of all his sloppy incomplete work and his texts to prove that he still did not complete his work and refused to return so thankfully that should be taken care of quickly. UPDATE: After seeing his response here and that he is lying through his teeth I figured I would post my receipts and photos of his work along with our communication back and forth. He is even more dishonest than I thought. BEWARE!!!!
