Receipt in Hand, Warranty Denied. Buyer Beware…read more Very disappointed with DFW Truck & Auto Accessories. We purchased a set of SUSPA C16-02622 shocks from this store in May 2026. I have the original receipt, and the part number on the shocks matches the receipt. The shock failed within the one-year warranty period. My husband took it to the store and was turned away. I then called and spoke with the manager, who said we could have purchased the shock somewhere else. We did not purchase another set anywhere else, we purchased these from them and have the receipt to prove it. The manager said they could not accept the shocks because they don't sell that brand and have nowhere to send them for a warranty claim. However, the receipt clearly lists SUSPA as the manufacturer, and SUSPA is also identified on the stickers on the shocks. The manager also questioned the scratches and wear on the shocks. They are installed on a work truck, so normal wear is expected. The issue is that the shock failed during the warranty period, not that it looks new. Despite having proof of purchase and a matching part number, our warranty claim was refused. My advice to anyone shopping here: keep your receipts, pictures of your parts, and document everything. I would even recommend taking a picture at the time of purchase showing the item being handed to you. That way, you have additional proof if you're later told, "You could have purchased this somewhere else." Based on our experience, I would think twice before purchasing anything here that you may need warranty support for.

She was able to immediately help me look up the correct filter size, based upon all the info about my car's engine size, make, model, etc. I was able to get in, boom - get my filter, and get outta there! It was like visiting with one of those NASCAR pit crews, they were so fast and professional. I had come in after visiting with Auto Zone down the street, and I gotta say, this ORLY is such a better auto parts shop- better customer service, cleaner store and parking lot, well lit interior, parts on hand. Couple days later, I'm on the 405 at the 22, I hear a *THUNK* and see a piece of something in my rear view mirror fly off my car and nearly hit the one behind me. If you ever saw the end to the sci-fi movie "Serenity", you know what I'm talking about. When I get to my destination, sure enough, the exterior trim applique is missing. Shit! They don't make Saturns anymore and parts are worth a small mint. People tell me to chech out Pick Your Part, but I don't feel like wasting a day in a junkyard looking for a Saturn with the trim part I need. I go online and in less than ten minutes, I find this site, find the exact part I need and checkout. Easy, peezy, lemon-squeezie! $35.17 for the trim and a bolt, including (dammit!) $9 for shipping. At least the nice thing was that it only took my mechanically-inept ass five minutes to install the trim. Funny thing I learned...my Saturn uses a lot of Chevy parts. Go figure.

When I arrived, I spoke with a man there, I asked for the part. He quickly replied they didn't have the part. I showed him the messages on my phone, said that I was in contact with someone. They didn't have the part I asked for when they told me "$30" for it. Terrible service at DFW Auto! I wonder if they know how to communicate with customers? Complete WASTE OF TIME and fuel.
