I had only called this O'Reilly Auto Parts location. I never physically visited. However I have to say, Danny's customer service (over the phone). Was simply AMAZING. Danny not only listened to me talk about the issues I was dealing with (car wise). He spoke highly about another man named Melvin. Who just so happened to be a Mobile Mechanic. Danny gave me Melvin's number and he answered when I called or maybe I had to send him a text. Nevertheless Melvin let me know that he's a RELIABLE, Trustworthy, and decent person. He told me, He'd be able to come and see what was actually happening with my ride. Because he was gonna be in the area. Twenty minutes later Melvin was calling to let me know he was outside parked by my ride. That's what's lacking in today's society. There's so many weasels out here in the world. He explained to me what was actually going on with my car without charging me $179 like Christian Brothers had done a few days before still Smdh about keeping that appointment. It's definitely a learning experience for me as a woman. Never jump to go to the first mechanic without searching around for possibilities. Thanks to Melvin I didn't have to spend $4000.00. I'm thankful for his Service and Knowledge of mechanics. The customer service here, mostly Danny - was super helpful. He was able to get us what we needed. The problem was fixed pretty quickly. Dealership wanted over $1300. Pretty upset with the visit I had here today. I was doing rotors and pads wih my brother on my car. We popped off the tires, and came in and got the stuff we needed. When doign the replacement, realized we were given the wrong rotors. Had to put things back together and go back. It was stupid. Based upon a recent experience, I would say both companies are somewhat dishonest. I had left a light on in my 2021 qx50 infinity and the next morning, battery was dead. I put it on jump starter, no problem. later that day, it dies again so i went to Autozone and they tested it and told me it was a bad battery. It didn't seem right on a car that's only just turning 3 years old so, i went to O'Reilly's. same story. I went to the car after he tested it with the motor off. Hit start and it fired right up. I bought one of those portable jump start boxes just to be safe and went home. I put it on a trickle charger over night and this morning, no problem. There's no way to be certain, but it sure feels like a sleazy way to sell someone a battery they don't need. Also, just as an FYI, the $130 jump start box i bought at O'Reilly's was only $80 on Amazon and O'reilly's does not price match Amazon. I will be returning it tomorrow after having Amazon deliver one that is even higher rated and with more features for only $49. The moral of the story: the free testing these guys offer could be expensive! read more

I walked into O'Reillys today distraught and defeated. I was having trouble with my car battery, and I didn't know where to turn. My mechanic friend was out of town, and my girlfriend has no idea what to do with a car. I mean she is absolutely useless when it come to that stuff. ABSOLUTELY USLESS. I mean she hardly knows how to put gas in, and completely ignores when the engine light comes on. She didn't learn to drive until she was 22 and said "I thought cars ran on gas why do they have batteries" when I told her the battery was dead. So she was no help. So there I was, watching the AAA guy jump start my car, feeling hopeless and lost. But when I thought I had no where else to turn, there was the O'Riellys auto parts on 5211 Lemmon Ave. I saw the good reviews, and in a last ditch effort so safe my car, and any hope of being in a good mood for the day, I drove my crumbling chariot over. I was greeted with smiles and joy. The look on the employees faces said "I would love to help!" but at the same time "You are safe with me and everything is gonna be alright". Ben was the most helpful. He replaced my car battery with the same ease as a newborn baby latching to his mothers breast, almost as though it was instinct. Friendly and informative the whole time, I was shocked at his service. I shook his hand and thanked him, and I was impressed with his strong yet soft hands. The grasp was firm. Welcoming. Commanding. He was excellent and I would recommend this place to everyone in the area!!! 100/10! read more

I've always been a fan of O'Reilly's and this place is no different. They just finished a remodel on this location a short time ago, and it did absolutely...nothing...seriously..they flip flopped the store. Doesn't matter, I still can find what I need. I think they just increased the size of the back of house to carry more parts in stock..smart move, esp with several other parts places in the area(I will not go to Autozone or Advanced Auto if I can help it...and recently I haven't been able to :(((( ). They're prices are almost always lower than their competitors, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable..usually. Their parts are top notch too, always fitting my car..which..in the world of imports(why did I buy this car???)is a blessing! I'll be back, cause I needs more s*%t for my car! read more

So my battery went out. Edwin answered the phone and said my vehicle will be very difficult to change battery but said come on. It's 95 degrees out and he hammered it out for me. I have always had great service here and experienced it so last night. As it would happen, my car batter died @ 7pm last night. Every shop is closed as luck would have it, except for an NTB on Central that had a line out the door, so I got my car jumped and drove it to my trusted O'Reilly's. The nice feller working there tested my battery first, confirmed that it was indeed bad (and not something else), changed out the old one and put in a new one. So, after 11 days of my car being in Park Place Volvo mechanic shop where they were trying to suck as much money out of me as possible, I finally got my car back and I just needed to replace my after market air filter intake. Volvo was going to charge me around $525 to replace the intake and filter. I brought my Volvo, for the first time to O'Reilly's on Lemmon, where Tony helped me choose the right filter and even PLACED it on for me for free! He really didn't have to, but he helped me so much and he did it with such kindness and professionalism. Even though they were really busy at the time, he helped everyone with their needs with such positivity. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!! read more

This place is a perfect example of apathy and poor management. I realize that employees can be overwhelmed with customers but when there is nobody else in the store and employees go out of their way to avoid helping a struggling coworker with something as minor as a wiper blade installation. The manager even came to do a refund without offering to help and to cap it all off used profanity openly while engaging in normal conversation with the clerk. This is obviously a managerial issue that the corporate office needs to address. read more

Waited in line for quite a long time. The heavy set black cashier was giving very dry greetings to the people who walked in. The person who was with me was going to retrieve something from the aisle when I was asked to come to the register. I told the heavy set black girl that he was retrieving something, this is after we have been waiting in line for a little while, and she dismissed me without saying anything and started speaking to the man behind me. I honestly don't know what her problem was, maybe she's upset that she works as a cashier, maybe she's having a bad day, whatever the case is, I don't really appreciate being dismissed by cashiers any place that I'm shopping. Will definitely not be returning, it was bad enough the service was slow, but to be rude on top of that is over board. The cashier next to her who actually checked us out was sweet. read more

I recently went in to figure out why my rear running lights were out and Alicia (I think that was her name) was an amazing help. Sadly I went in 10 min before they closed and it did not bother her at all. I hate going into stores right before they close but had just gotten a citation 15 min earlier. Not only was he kind, but also courteous while he listened to me try to explain the problems with my '97 Jeep Wrangler-- that I don't understand. I had the poor misfortune of dealing with the manager Roman Garcia. I needed an air filter for my car. They did not have it in stock but Roman said he could have it first thing in the morning if i would like to pay for it in advance. Against my better judgement I paid. When i returned the next day the store was empty. I had to wait for Roman to come out and help me. He said he remembered and went to the back for my part. The receipt had the correct part number but the part he gave me was incorrect. When i asked Roman about it instead of helping me he took a new customer and 3 phone calls while I waited. Then I was told that they did not have the correct part. Now I am waiting for a refund and god only knows how long that will take. As a manager Roman is inept! Epic failure! Promised and failed to deliver. Left me standing at the counter while he helped others as if to say we have your money you are no longer important. I went to this store to pick up some windshield wipers and employee Alicia O was more than helpful. She offered to install the wipers herself and I was shocked she would even offer that as it was raining at the time. Now that is Customer Service. She also had a very nice smile. She also helped and answered questions my partner had for his car, in the rain. Way to go O'Reilly for hiring nice and friendly employees. I recently went to O'Reilly's on Lemmon for a new battery. I had used a jump to get my car started to drive there. The salesperson selected the correct battery for my car (on the second attempt, the first choice did not fit). I am a 60+ year old woman, and I have no tools, so I asked if there was anyone who could install it for me. The salesperson responded that he would do this. I had planned to tip him for his kindness. Unfortunately, he was not as familiar with the process as I had anticipated, and connected the terminals the wrong way around. A loud pop caused him to jump away from the car, fortunately without a shock. However, following this incident, the car would not start, indeed the remote key did not even unlock the door. The car was towed to a dealership where they worked on it for three days (I think much of this time was waiting for ordered parts). The resultant bill was almost $1400. The alternator had blown, along with several fuses. O'Reilly's apologized profusely and said that they would pay the bill, which indeed they did, every penny of it, including the tow. The check took a couple of weeks to arrive, but the manager had warned me that this was likely. I do not hesitate to recommend this store for your automotive needs. read more
