First time here and they just opened on Monday, Oct 3. They have a bunch of people on staff. I guess training everybody at the same time. Everybody's wad super nice and ready to help any way thay could. They also had about 6 managers on staff. So with that said, we will see what is like in a few months. Ok, the food. Took my order to go. A number 1, whole chicken and 3 sides. Got the twice baked mash, spinach and sweet corn. Price, ok for 3 or 4. You can order on line from there site. Down load the app. Then you come inside and pick it up from the rack next top the register. Different. OK. THE FOOD. i got home and pulled out a nice amount of food. Way to much for two people. (Although i could put it away if i wasn't trying to keep my figure and don't want to break 200+ lol.). The chicken was tasty and plenty. The sides were all really good. In all, the entire meal was really good. They also have a BBQ sauce and a spicy sauce that was awesome. Loved the whole thing. I will be in again, this time, inside. Food was delicious. I discovered Cowboy Chicken on yelp. Yet again. The restaurant is in a very nice strip mall with different restaurant and department stores. The restaurant had two entrances. On was for to go. I found that rather convenient,not having to walk through the dining area,however the door is around the corner from the parking lot. The restaurant has tables and booths,a drink fountain machine in the dining room and a large rotisserie oven roasting chicken while you dine. I order the half chicken meal with tomato salad,corn and macaroni and cheese. The macaroni and cheese was so good. The best. The meal was good. The chicken was moist and seasoned perfectly. The service at this location is absolutely, unbelievably unprofessional!! I went inside, place my order and patiently waited while my food was being prepared. I ordered the family meal for 6 and a 5 drumstick meal. Since there was little to no customers inside, I assumed that I didn't need to check my order for accuracy especially since I was sitting right in front where the food was being prepared, An Absolutely Big Mistake on my part. I drove home about 10 miles away only to find out there was NO CHICKEN (Really) and when I returned to the restaurant, the staff was very nonchalant and basically said my bad. I got the Laredo Sandwich with a side salad and apple cobbler. The chicken was delicious but my only complaint is there's a lot of onion in the salad and on the sandwich. One of the best chicken places I have ever visted. The chicken was amazing as well as the sides.

I'd otherwise give it a 3 star because the food is average, but a little healthier than fried. This my 3rd time having it, but today was a little different. As much as I want this pandemic to be over, we cannot get complacent with protecting ourselves and the public. For the entire staff to be operating maskless and gloveless was a bit much for me. If I wasn't so damn hungry I probably would've asked for a refund. However, I just took it home, prayed about it and nuked it to hell. The scary side of this is that the older white female that was handling the take out orders and waiting table, at a minimum had a head cold. She had a light, but persistent cough and the sniffles. I watched her cough into her long sleeved sweat shirt and then cradle a couple of open plate to carry them to a table. The repeated that until she had served a large party of about 10. I placed an order with this restaurant through Door Dash at 5pm. At 7pm my order was canceled because they said they were 'out of chicken'. I'm not sure how the management (Briana) is handling orders. But apparently when you order early and pay in advance you are not priority over other customers. Very disappointed with the food and overall service. It didn't help that I was already coming with high expectations. My brother said he stopped here when charging and the food was fantastic. Well my experience was a complete 180 of his. First off walk in standing around and I wasn't acknowledged, once I was I placed my order and unfortunately almost all the sides I wanted where out. They had about 4 choices left. Then drinks no premade items. Lemonades, teas just fountain. Then the food. My chicken was not only dry it was burnt, like hydrated dry and that fire charcoal burnt flavor on the wing and drums. The breast was so dry I literally left with a deep deep disappointment. I give it a 2 star because maybe today was an extremely bad day. I feel though for the Grubhub and Uber eats as I heard the manager tell the person to just do all broccoli and sweat potatoes or extra rolls since they had like no food. I would understand if it was like 30 to close but 2 hours before closing is hard to believe that you are down to 2 sides. They ran out of Mac and fries after my order. This is a great spot for a different "chicken" experience. They have the option of buying just chicken, chicken and sides, desserts, etc. I have grown quite fond of their corn fritters. They are not greasy and have all of the crunchy, creamy and fried goodness of corn and batter! As far as sides are concerned I have tried the macaroni and cheese, cucumber salad and creamed spinach - delish! The piece de resistance to the meals here are the delectable rolls! Three stars only because it was EXPENSIVE. I got a BBQ sandwich with two sides, two large drinks and a peach cobbler. I would have expected to pay 12-16 for all that but it was $22. I eaten there now a total of three times and will say I've been very satisfied with the quantity and quality of my food. Customer service: you are not waited on by staff, so if that's what you want, this is not the place to you. Your food is brought out to you and after that, you get your own drink(refills too) and silverware(plastic upon request). The wait in line can be a little long depending on the time. (But you can always place a call in or online order if time is of the essence). You are greeted with a smile and plenty of people around to help answer questions if needed. Food: so every time I've went I've had the half chicken & crispy drums. The only thing that changed were the sides and I've tried the peach cobbler. So the rotisserie chicken is yummy and for the ones th complain about salt, I think it's just all a matter of taste buds and what you are used to, when it comes to seasoning your foods with at home. I enjoyed the crispiness of the skin on some parts of my chicken and how juicy it was. As for the crispy drums, we tried them half hot half bbq, I liked both flavors, but the rotisserie still the winner for me. Sides I've had were the twice backed potatoes(yum), mac n chz(pretty good, but not the homemade taste) , fried okra(some of the best, awesome flavor crunch), baked sweet potatoes (was really good *used butter and cinnamon sugar shaker*, and ranchero beans(they are pinto beans with onion and tomato topping with a little but of heat...good but not my absolute fave). As for the peach cobbler...it was good but not what you think. It didnt have what I call a true pie/cobbler crust...seemed to be more cake-like. Overall I'm sold.
