Today was my first time eating here after hearing nothing but wonderful things about this place and they definitely did not disappoint. The food was delicious and our waitress was absolutely wonderful! If you haven't been here before I highly recommend giving them a try!!

Great service, surprisingly great flavors, great prices! Basic steak / seafood with a diner atmosphere. Staff is friendly and service was quick.

Peel and eat shrimp, fried okra, corn nuggets, hushpuppies.

I saw some not so great reviews, but my kid chose this place for the bacon cheese fries. Simple plate of fries with cheese sauce and bacon bits, nothing fancy, but still good. I ordered 1/2 lb peel and eat shrimp with fried okra, corn nuggets, and hushpuppies. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of shrimp. All of it had good flavor. Kid ordered plain cheeseburger with fries. They complained it had too much flavor. I took a bite and it tasted like a good beef burger to me. (Their tastebuds must be messed up from fast food burgers.) Service was quick, and server was very nice.

Doesn't look like a typical "steak house" inside looks more like a diner Food an Service both are very good. Met family here for dinner and it was a great meal.. Good food selection

Remnants of popcorn shrimp, ranch and fries!

Amazing!! The waiter recommended the corn nuggets and they were so good. The ranch is amazing, the cowboy burger was amazing, the sweet potato casserole is the best. My son loved the popcorn shrimp - five stars!!

A solid three, which is not bad. The service was great. The food arrived quickly. Orders included a club sandwich. It looked scrumptious! It's recipient described it as ok, but the bread not toasted enough. Two ordered the sirloin steak. It was reportedly good, not great, but good. I ordered the sautéed chicken with vegetables over rice. It was flavorful but came with a small amount of rice and was a bit too greasy. I feel this is overall not my food preference and add my observation of the restaurant would indicate happy patrons.

    Philly Cheesesteak

The food was delicious! Ribs had a great flavor and were falling off the bone. I asked for them without sauce, as I like to taste the meat and not all the sauce. We also got the Philly Cheesesteak. It overflowed the hoagie roll, filled with meat, fresh peppers and onions, covered with cheese! The service was fast and friendly and the was very resonable.

They offer basic down-home cooking with a wide selection of food options. They are generally pretty packed around lunchtime with regular locals who all seem to know each other. It appears to be a local favorite with the number of locals that seem to frequent the place. In my inquires i found that this is a cafe that has weathered the times. The kind of place you might see as you passed through these small towns in the 60's. It has the old charm with quite friendly people. It is a place of a long gone era that has survived into modern times by being what they do best. A local favorite for people looking for a simple place to eat tasty food.

I really did not know what to expect and followed his lead as I was driving. We parked in a lot nearby because there was construction on the river bank road (Front Street) that limited our access to the roadway. I would consider Harry's a true hole in the wall! A no frills place with a limited menu. They serve their lunch menu Monday through Friday, 11am to 1:30pm and the Dinner menu Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 4:30pm to 8:30pm. We walked inside, chose a table and had a seat. There were several other tables seated and enjoying their meals when we walked inside. The menus are on the table and we were quickly offered drinks. When our drinks arrived we placed our order. We both decided to order the cheeseburger with chips. A short while later our food arrived. The burgers looked delicious. I noticed the drinks and food were all provided with disposable plates and cups. It was pretty clear the burger was not frozen. It appeared to be a hand formed patty. The cheese appeared to be similar to Kraft singles. I had fresh onion and lettuce on mine which was perfect. Overall this was a great stop and I would return. The burger was perfect. The price was reasonable. The service was exceptional and our drinks were filled before asking. There is an active railroad track on the other side of Fuller Street across from Harry's which is very close. A train came by while we were eating and we could hear it well, and our table shook. I now consider myself a fan. They are very good at what they do and considering they have been in business since 1954, they are a local favorite!

The draft list was only accessible by scanning the QR code. Not normally an issue for me but it was a little annoying since my cell service wasn't great in this area. I finally got it to pull up and asked for the Angry Troll PB Porter (I forget the name), the waiter asked if I wanted a sample first and I was so happy he did because it was not very peanut buttery to me. I decided to try a can of Docs: Pumpkin cider which ended up being a MUCH better choice for me. It was delicious. We started with some cheese curds as an appetizer. The kids split a kids cheese pizza (it comes with fries) and my bestie and I split a Philly Cheesesteak pizza. The cheese curds were amazing! I didn't try the kids pizza although the fries seemed a little over seasoned, especially since they were served to kids. My Philly pizza was not great though. The primary taste was banana peppers. Not meat, not cheese...the vinegar-y, sour taste of banana peppers. I was not a fan. Then the bill comes....I guess I should have asked for the price of the cider (NONE of the beer has a price listed.) My CAN of Doc's cider was $9.50. Not sure if that's normal in this area but in Durham, that can would have only been $6 (MAYBE $7.) TLDR; service - good, drinks - expensive, food - hit or miss.
