Grilled chicken salad Loaded baked potato Crab dip
    Allison P.

We've eaten here fairly frequently throughout the years, and some times it's fantastic and other times it's not. We ate there last Saturday and arrived 5:30. We were seated and our drink ordered were taken fairly quickly. We ordered a kids meal and app with our drinks, and were ready to order entrees when our drinks arrived. The FOH service was prompt. However it took a substantial amount of time for any food to arrive. I ordered a chicken salad and baked potato, and crab dip for the table. The kiddo had chicken tenders and fries. Nothing was spectacular and honestly not worth the wait. We didn't leave until almost 7pm and there were masses of people waiting. Always a cool concept but unreliable execution.

Husband enjoying nice platter of popcorn shrimp.

this is the place for seafood. When I went to my table and looked around every platter looked delicious. My husband and I ate off of the senior menu. I had the catfish dinner. I was surprised I had two fillets of catfish. It must have come straight from the pan because it was hot and I had to let it cool for a minute to eat it. it was delicious. It came with coleslaw and a loaded baked potato. I wasn't thrilled with the coleslaw or the baked potato, but it tasted all right. My husband had the popcorn front shrimp and he said it was excellent. He also got a baked potato and coleslaw which he said he liked both. The place was very clean and nicely decorated like a pirate ship. It was a Sunday afternoon so it wasn't very crowded. Our waiter was nice but a little too talkative. He talked to the couple in the table next to us what seemed like forever and we wondered when we were going to get fresh drinks and the hush puppies he promised. By the way, the hush puppies are like none I've ever seen or eaten. They were long and thin, not greasy and very delicious. I would definitely go back.

It appears to be a local favorite with the number of locals that seem to frequent the place. In my inquires i found that this is a cafe that has weathered the times. The kind of place you might see as you passed through these small towns in the 60's. It has the old charm with quite friendly people. It is a place of a long gone era that has survived into modern times by being what they do best. A local favorite for people looking for a simple place to eat tasty food.

I really did not know what to expect and followed his lead as I was driving. We parked in a lot nearby because there was construction on the river bank road (Front Street) that limited our access to the roadway. I would consider Harry's a true hole in the wall! A no frills place with a limited menu. They serve their lunch menu Monday through Friday, 11am to 1:30pm and the Dinner menu Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 4:30pm to 8:30pm. We walked inside, chose a table and had a seat. There were several other tables seated and enjoying their meals when we walked inside. The menus are on the table and we were quickly offered drinks. When our drinks arrived we placed our order. We both decided to order the cheeseburger with chips. A short while later our food arrived. The burgers looked delicious. I noticed the drinks and food were all provided with disposable plates and cups. It was pretty clear the burger was not frozen. It appeared to be a hand formed patty. The cheese appeared to be similar to Kraft singles. I had fresh onion and lettuce on mine which was perfect. Overall this was a great stop and I would return. The burger was perfect. The price was reasonable. The service was exceptional and our drinks were filled before asking. There is an active railroad track on the other side of Fuller Street across from Harry's which is very close. A train came by while we were eating and we could hear it well, and our table shook. I now consider myself a fan. They are very good at what they do and considering they have been in business since 1954, they are a local favorite!

Well after we got through eating our to go food was not even started yet after telling them when we ordered they could go ahead and start our to go order. Well after another 20 minutes of waiting after needing done eating we finally got our to go order and when we got home the order was not all there . So I called back to the store and they acted like it pissed then off that I called back to tell them the order was wrong and things were missing. So after 5 minutes of trying to explain to them what was wrong they said we will give you a free fried rice and nothing else . I will definitely never spend my money at this place again.
