Walked in Sunday 12:16pm January 28th and woman gives me the death stare. I said, "Hey" as nice as I could after the death stare and she goes super rude, "we are not open". I replied how would I know that since your door is open and your open sign is blinking. She replied the door has the hours on it and is unlocked because she just stepped out. I said I don't go to a company door and start reading the small notes, I go in if open light is flashing and door is unlocked. She continues to argue with me as I walk away and realize I need to take my family and friends somewhere else and let anyone I can know how rude they are and undeserving of anyone's business. read more

got my first tattoo here done by Brian and had the BEST experience! came in an hour before they closed.. even tho it was late at night he was very nice and let my friends sit with me for my tattoo. i had him change the placement of my tattoo like 3 times and not once got an attitude from him! for my first tattoo the pain level was a 1... he was LIGHT HANDED and took his time to make sure i got what i wanted! 10/10 would highly recommend booking with Brian! read more

Went there for my first tattoo yesterday, the tattoo turned out great but the guy Chris who did my tattoo was really rude and pretty much didn't talk to my friend (who was also getting a tattoo from him) or myself the whole time; he seemed even annoyed that we were even there I. Also I was informed by my friend that after I had left the room after that tattoo that he was saying I was whiny and talk too much. OWNER HELD MY BROTHER AT GUN POINT) My brother worked at cowboys tattoo for 2 years up until 2 days ago. He got offered a job opportunity at another tattoo shop that will allow him to grow as an artist and him being professional he wanted to give his 2 weeks however the owners Kerri & Rusty found out through the grapevine he was leaving before he could and Rusty & Kerri showed up Thursday night April 4th. They came into the shop questioning my brother and harassing him on why he was leaving. My brother started to grab all of his belongings and Rusty pulled out his gun and held my 22 year old brother at gun point telling him to get out of his shop & to turn around & put his hands on the hood of his car... not allowing him to gather any of his belongings which remind y'all ... my brother bought and paid for every single thing in his booth. They tried to accuse him of "stealing from them" which I can't help but laugh because my brother is always by the book, follows the rules, has never stolen anything & is the sweetest soul. A police report was filed after this occurrence. These people are crazy! & I just want to warn everyone that Cowboys tattoo is not only a toxic place to work but also could get shut down anytime for not following the proper health and safety guidelines. The owners also allow their artists to tattoo minors.. The owner (Kerri) sent in a known minor to get tattooed and my brother caught it and made it clear that they could not tattoo the kid because he was under 18. The way they treat their artists as well is just disgusting & sad. This place will not be around much longer if they keep running things how they have been. read more

I give this business a 5 star rating because I have been getting tattoos for 18 years and as of recently founthis place and have always had the greatest experience in this shop. The artists that I know in the shop right now. Ryan Ryan Bryan and Dor. Are all the most caring, generous, and customer friendly artists I've seen which is what you would hope to expect walking into a place of business where people are needing to make you feel comfortable. Tonight I got to experience the new hire RAUL. My first impression was before he even showed up Becaue he had two sweet young ladies who had booked an appointment for had to be an hour and a half to two hours past their appointment time here comes RAUL all dressed up super nice from head to toe, walking around lik he owns the shop. The girls had already had a look of disgust on their faces from being neglected for so long AND thins was this girls VERY FIRST tattoo experience so she did Dr know any better just to walk out. As RAUL proceeds to take his SWEET ASS TIME walking from artist to artist seeing what it was they were working on. Smoking his vape all over the shop that HAS A SIGN AT THE FRONT THAT SAYS NO VAPING. Didn't even sit the girls in his work station for about 30 min was walking around fucking off not showing them any attention. RAUL at one point stepped outside and I told the young girl that if I was her I would walk out right now and not pay this man for his lack of give a fuck. And the poor girl said she was already here and she's been waiting forever to get it and I said ok we'll get your tattoo, but you should never ever tolerate an artist neglecting you the way he has. The tattoo proceeds. RAUL is also a very loud and opinionated artist. At one point started explaining a cream the girl can get to heal her tattoo and that the cream was originally made for women who breastfeed and the child chews on her nipple and makes it raw the cream is to heal the dry nipple...... THE WNTIRE SHOP WENT DEAD SILENT.. mind you the shop has about ten people in it at the time all customers and artist were just dumbfounded by his speech. Kept quiet. Let him do his thing. The man continued with his aggressive opinions on tattoos and which techniques are better like he fucking invented tattooing. And by the end of the night as I'm actually fed up and standing in the shop writing this review he looks me up and down and comments on the choice of my outfit which has some sacred geometry on it and he literally said to me YOU LOOK LIKE YOU USE DRUGS...... thank you thank you Raul that thinking anyone of my mindset is a fucking drug addict. Thank you. I have made the decision that if RAUL is working I will not spend my money in this shop and that's very unfortunate for the other talented artists that call this place home. Most unprofessional tattoo artist I've seen in 35 years. And I can only hope the management of this shop continues to keep this a place where loyal customers such as my self can come in and have an amazing experience, as opposed to the terrifying one me and the other guests of COWBOYS TATTOO 2 experienced tonight.
