However, what really disappointed me was the lack of attention when I asked multiple times for a cotton ball and foil for my injured nail. I asked three different people and kept getting overlooked, which was frustrating given that I couldn't properly soak or file that nail due to the injury. Another concern came up at checkout. I noticed the price for my manicure was changed at the register compared to what had been written by the nail technician. That felt dishonest and left a bad impression at the end of the visit. Because of those experiences, while the salon is beautiful and the technicians were skilled, I'm not sure I would return anytime soon.

The atmosphere is calm, and everyone I interacted with was incredibly friendly and kind, which I really appreciated. I had a young man as my nail tech, and while he was very sweet and clearly trying his best, I think he may need a bit more training, especially with dip powder. I came in with a few dip nails lifting and had to cut them super short. I asked for very short oval or almond-shaped nails, showed reference photos, and politely explained what I was hoping for. However, I had to repeat a few things multiple times, including wanting all my nails the same short length. In the end, the shape came out round, not quite what I asked for, which was disappointing. The appointment took from 12 to 3 PM, and after sitting for so long, my back was in pain. I had to keep shifting and eventually asked to move to a different chair, which they were kind enough to allow, though I wish someone had checked in earlier to make sure I was comfortable. There was also a mix-up with the top coat. When he applied it, it stayed gummy, and the manager or owner had to step in and completely redo the dip, taking time away from another customer. I felt really bad about that. Even after the fix, the final product unfortunately wasn't up to par. It's now only been a week, and the dip is already lifting and catching in my hair, when normally it lasts me three weeks. As for my pedicure, the woman who worked on my toes was great, also very nice and gentle. But again, I had to politely repeat my preferences for shape and length a couple of times before it was right. All in all, the people here are lovely, the salon is immaculate, and there's a lot to appreciate. But from my experience, I'd say there's still room for improvement in technique and customer comfort during long appointments. I also found the price to be a bit higher than expected, especially given the quality and longevity of the dip. I truly hope the young tech gets the training and support he needs. He has a great attitude and demeanor, which is a solid foundation. I'd love to return in the future once they've had a bit more experience under their belt.

Smells so nice! Then they put your feet in a wax mask and truly this is one of my fav parts since it leaves the bottom of your feel feeling super soft. She then massages your legs with the lotion/oils that come in the tray. Next they wrap your legs in hot towels (with rose petals which wasn't necessary) but feels nice to get pampered from time to time. I definitely recommend you try this one if you just stick to classic pedicures, it's a bit more in price but well worth it to do every now and then. Your feet will thank you!

I'm not sure I know the words to truly describe Danielle and her work. We stumbled upon her almost 5 years ago and have followed her from place to place ever since. Thankfully, she has landed with the awesome Dru at this amazing shop. Together they have created an incredible place that really puts you at ease while getting a tattoo. You're surrounded by their current and previous work so it's just a whirlwind of beautiful stencils fluttering with the air. Music is always playing, the conversation is always engaging, and laughter is always in the air. It's hard to be nervous in such a zen place. I haven't gotten a tat from Dru yet, let me reiterate that yet because I know it will happen, but Danielle has done four pieces on me and fixed another one that was botched by a previous artist. She has also done five on my other half. Her work is incredible. It's like she understands exactly what we want and gives it life. The last piece I got from her was for my mom and Danielle completely grasped the emotion and importance behind it. I felt as though she really put herself into it and made sure everything was perfect, from the initial design to the final application. When she was finished I cried. It was just beautiful and so completely spot on to what I envisioned. I show it to everyone every chance I get. If you've been craving a new tat definitely seek out Danielle, you will not regret it. She will find the essence of what you want and add her magic to it to make you something you will cherish forever. I cannot suggest Allegiance enough. In my opinion, Dru Bias is the best tattoo artist in the DFW metroplex, hands down. Not only does he create outstanding artwork, but he is also very professional and super easy to get along with! When you step into Allegiance Tattoo it feels like a second home. Both Dru Bias and Danielle Marie are very warm and welcoming people who are ready to provide you with the most beautiful artwork you could possibly imagine! So far, I have a full sleeve and a chest piece by Dru Bias and I couldn't be any happier with the way it turned out! Found these guys through a reddit forum after researching for tattoo shops that focus on Japanese tattoos. Atmosphere is great, you feel welcome and doesn't feel what an "ordinary" tattoo shop might, it has a home like feeling. Got consulted and got started on a sleeve 6 months ago and now I'm starting on a second; that in itself says a lot already! Love these guys. A couple of artists declined to take on the project and I am glad they did because otherwise I wouldn't have used Dru. He had a fantastic idea on how to make the two pieces look like one. This is my second time getting tattooed by Danielle. She is absolutely wonderful. She takes such pride and time in her work. The shop is a hidden treasure and has such a pleasant feel to it. The detail she puts into her work is amazing. They make you feel very comfortable and relaxed. read more

I got a back piece from dru and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Dru takes a lot of pride in his work and he's very detailed, it turned out beautifully and it healed great. Dru is a really cool guy to talk to as well. Very chill and comfortable atmosphere in the shop. 5/5 read more

Awesome shop if you looking for some new ink. Ive spent over 60 hours on the table with Dru, he is extremely talented as an artist, always has excelent conversation, some nice chill music going. Cant recomment Dru and Danielle enough, they are some of my favorite people! read more

I've gotten two custom pieces done by Dru and the experience was fantastic and the resulting artwork came out beyond my expectations. the tattoos were done professionally and healed properly. This place is the real deal. Would use again and I'm planning more soon. read more

Jimmy specializes in freehand tattoos and Japanese style art. From small to large, my tattoos from him provide so much detail. I highly recommend this studio and artist, Jimmy. He got confrontational with me. He talked me into going thru with the tattoo. He messed up twice and didn't even listen to what I was wanting creating conflict. I eventually had to go back a week later so he could fix the lines on my tattoo after fading from him doing it wrong and not the way I wanted. His attitude was . After that he told me I had to find someone else to do the rest of the tattoo. For that reason I'm only giving him a one star review. For the price I paid his vibe was off the whole time. Wish I would have never gone thru with it and gone to the other artist I had found.

I got tattooed by this artist a few months ago, and while the tattoos were cute and seemed…read moreaffordable at the time, the experience ended up being really disappointing and honestly concerning. She told me during the session that she had only been tattooing for six months. This is something that should have been disclosed upfront, especially since she only does fine line work. That style requires precision, and the tattoos I got began fading within a week. They're already barely visible. She didn't explain that fine line tattoos, especially at this small scale, tend not to last, and it was clear she didn't prioritize longevity in her design or technique. On top of that, I wasn't told about the $25 touch-up fee until I was already being tattooed. That kind of thing should be communicated clearly before someone sits in the chair, especially when the quality of work makes a touch-up almost guaranteed. What felt "cheap" at first became a waste of money. She also didn't check my ID beforehand, and casually mentioned she nearly gave alcohol to someone underage without verifying their age. Even if she didn't go through with it, it was unsettling to hear and added to the lack of professionalism. In short: yes, the tattoos were cute--but they were done without care for how they'd heal or last, and the whole experience made me feel like quality and safety weren't taken seriously.
