Huevos rancheros - mmmmm look at those grilled jalapeños
    Sheri L.

We stopped for breakfast. The huevos rancheros were very tasty. If you're into biscuits and gravy, these are big, fluffy, soft biscuits, and a nicely balanced gravy. Service is super friendly, attentive, and fast. It's not a fancy spot - it's homey and charming in just the way a small town western cafe should be. HEADS UP: your nav might try to tell you that it's 3.5 miles off of I40. Lies. It's literally right off the interstate - even the people who work there are mystified as to why the directions can be so squirrelly.

Still the best deal around! We stop in when we're visiting Okemah for Woodyfest every July.

Exactly what you'd expect from a small town cafe. Food was hot and fresh. Maybe not all from scratch but worth the money and easy access off the interstate.

I don't live here, but my family has lived in this area forever. I've been meaning to make a review on this place forever. It's a really small town feel. Don't worry if you're not from here, though- they will still make you feel like you're home and Kim is an awesome waitress. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I really like the Indian tacos, but it's not like normal fry bread, it's more bread like/sweeter. It's my go to. Really good onion rings. Really good hamburger steak. Try it! I go here whenever I'm in the area.

I'll have to try something different on the menu. The Country Fried Steak. Missed the mark for me .

Great food and service. My daughter especially loved the pancakes. The unsweetened tea was so refreshing.

This place has horrible service. The tables were dirty. Wait time to be served is a joke and wait time for food is worse

The food is delicious down home country cooking. The menu has several items to choose from all of which are very good.

Stepping back in time to an old fashioned cafe; plenty of yummy food; actual ham steak in the ham and cheese omelets... Wow!

Brisket Pulled Pork Smoked Turkey Pork Ribs Hot Links and finally... Smoked Baloney. Potato Salad, White Mac and Cheese, Texas Toast, Pickle and Onion. Everything was smoked perfectly - even the baloney, which surprised both of us eating there - and absolutely tender. The meats aren't dripping in sauce which is often used to moisten a bad cook or to disguise poor flavors. Nope. If you want a saucy meal, it's a "self-inflicted wound" in my books, because you're missing out on some great well cooked meat. We didn't go there for side options, so reviewing them isn't the point. I did not see either a Corn Bread or a Biscuit choice which I would have chosen, but took the usual's just to see how they're done at Rustlers. I'm not a banana for dessert fan, that is, until my dinner guest forced me to have some of Rustlers Banana Pudding. I am now a rabid fan of banana's for dessert. Yes, it's that good. Don't keep whistling down the highway at 80+MPH trying to get somewhere faster than you should. Slow down, stop in, and get some well made BBQ. Sure, you're going to have the "meat sweats" once you've had your fill, but it's all well worth it in the end.

First time there; But we're not likely to have the time to stop back in, on our way through. Place was mostly full; but not packed. Perhaps takeout orders were overwhelming and/or they were understaffed; on a Sunday afternoon.
