The bar was cool. It's at one of the ends of the strip. Bartender was nice, played the part being mean and rude but I knew she was only playing cause she was talking to us. The only thing I dinged them on is because when i decided to close my tab. My bartender had 2 extra drinks on my tab that belonged to the people in the next seat. When she asked if i wanted a refund i said yes, she said it will take 24-48 hours. I said cool no problem. She then was going to ask the guy who she was suppose to originally charge for him to just pay me back the $18 (the cost of his 2 drinks). I told her I wasn't going to do that, for her to just process my refund. Other then this I had a great time here on a Friday night.

We love Coyote Ugly! We were in Memphis for the weekend & ended both nights with the beautiful Coyotes! My husband received a body shot, I enjoyed the abuse inflicted upon him LMAO (so did he)! The Coyotes were fun & very good at their jobs! I would recommend experiencing this, but don't go into it expecting laidback or proper...this is not the place you are going to find it! The other reviews are apparently from boujee shit heads that know nothing about Coyote Ugly & what it's about! We will be back to see the Coyotes when we come back to Memphis! Great jobs girls!

Dead Dead Dead on a Saturday night!!! Tony and I went bar hopping in Memphis on Beale Street and we dashed into "Coyote Ugly" on the lower end of Beale Street across from the Hard Rock Cafe. We go to the one in Nashville, so we knew what to expect..except DEAD DEAD DEAD !!! There was only a handful of patrons milling around and I would definitely say less than that if I wanted to stand and count them. There was only 2 girls working and let's face it....I wouldn't have considered them Coyote Ugly Material...but we didn't even get a beer here..We walked in, looked around a bit and opted to dash across the street to the Beale Street Pool/ Billiards Hall..a much better choice!!!! Maybe it was the weather, or the fact it is Winter time. We will try it again next time we are on Beale street to see if it changed any !!!

Bar rules. Including no free tap water (see item 7) ?!?! Craziness!

After having a few drinks, we requested cups of tap water. The bartender pointed to a sign and indicated that no water is free. This is crazy given any type of establishment, but this definitely should be illegal at a bar. And if it's not illegal, it is a completely unsafe and terrible practice. We spoke with two locals about paying for water and the indicated they hadn't been charged in the past, so maybe it's only a special fee provided to out of town folk. Wild.

This place was OK. Simply OK. The girls weren't that entertaining. The drinks were cool. The music was meh... with this place being on Beale Street, you'd think it'd be more live. Maybe we just have higher expectations because of the movie? The drinks are moderately priced.. nothing special about this establishment to me. I wont be revisiting.

Cheap beer, girls dance on the bar just like in the movie, dancing on the bar is encourage, lots of tourists and locals got up on the bar to have fun. Fun place.

Yep, dance away on the bar.. it's all good!

To have modern country music blaring out over sacred ground on Beale Street is a sin. I threw up in my mouth a little bit.

The thing I notice is that they are very inclusive. They have several nights including karaoke, comedy, drag shows, and various event nights throughout the week. The owner is super sweet and inviting. She made sure to go around and speak to everyone that was there. During my visit, I did order food. I had the chess club sandwich. It is served on white bread and is filled with salami, bacon, gouda, lettuce pickle and onions. It was ok. It took forever for it to come out. People who had arrived way after us received their food quicker than we did. I had to go to the bar several times to ask about our food. I found out that the bartender was also the cook, so that semi explains the delay. I had a salad along with my sandwich. It was ok. I couldn't eat it all because the dressing was not good. I do want to state that it is a cool place to dive into if you are looking for something to do throughout the week. I not sure if the food is meant to be the central focus, but they so have vegan options in addition to a full craft and alcoholic beverage menu.

They're always cooked fresh to order, served piping hot, and incredibly juicy. The burgers are medium-sized, but they also offer a double burger option. I usually choose the regular cheeseburger, but this time I tried the "Chiflet," made with Snake River Farms Wagyu beef and topped with applewood smoked bacon, egg, and American cheese on a potato bun. Absolutely delicious! They also feature a daily burger special, which keeps the menu interesting. The crinkle fries are consistently hot and pair perfectly with the burgers. On top of that, they offer a great selection of both imported and domestic beers. The staff is always super friendly. Overall, it's a great spot to grab a burger, hang out, and enjoy the atmosphere.

I had the Dr. Gonzo burger which had a burger patty, Swiss cheese, grilled onions, and bacon. Great choice of yummy ingredients to make a solid burger. The burger is kind of small but I was full after inhaling the fried and perfectly seasoned crinkle cut fries. The fry sauce was a total Hit! Service was good. Our server Becky was very friendly and helpful. The place has tables and chairs and high top tables too. The bar is dark but they do have some picnic tables near the entrance for more light. Bathrooms were clean and had a lot of personal signatures and art. I am going to return to get a different kind of burger.

There is a little bit of natural light that comes in if you are near a window. Their menu is sort of small with some salads, sandwiches, burgers and a few plates. They have a lunch special which is a pretty good deal for only $15.95. They have some good looking eggrolls and are sort of known for their cheeseburger soup. I was in the mood for fish and they offered it 3 different ways. I tried the blackened catfish plate with steamed veggies and twice baked potato with an unsweet tea. My colleagues also all had catfish (but fried) and one of my clients had the meatloaf special. Everything was really good, but I was starving afterwards. The best item was the catfish, it was plump and juicy and well seasoned. The veggies were mushy, twice baked was decent but mainly because of the cheese layer. The hush puppies are standard ones. The fish also comes with a small cold slaw.

I really wish they had Louisiana hot sauce or at least a sauce with some real kick to go with it. I enjoy the side salad and the champagne dressing too. One thing that I heard is really popular is their buffalo wing eggrolls. You get three but they are actually pretty filling. I tried them and really enjoyed them. I also had their cheese sticks and they were great too! The marinara sauce includes some cheese as well so it makes it a little different in a good way. The parking is pretty limited but the place is nice and the servers are very kind. It gives the typical dive bar aesthetic (dark setting, neon lights, nice bar, etc.). I will tell you that even with the small amount of customers there, the wait time for food can be 15-20 minutes even if you are taking your food to-go.
