When I called to complain, the owner, Jason, had the nerve to tell me, "At least it was the shower and not the toilet," and "At least the uniform didn't have fecal matter." After the new one was installed, water was dripping from side of the rough in as it had been damaged. I subsequently hired another plumber to investigate and was told that the Enercare technician left a lot of drill marks on the inside wall of the rough in. As a result, water leaked from the sides. Instead of a simple job to replace a cartridge, it became a BIG job to cut open the dry wall and replace the rough in. It costs me a significant amount to repair the damage. To-date, they have yet to respond to my claim and reimburse my costs. I will never use their maintenance and repair programs any more.

This week, another technician who repaired the stove pointed out that a plate was not covering the electrical wiring behind the stove's kick plate. So, for four years, my family and I were using a GAS stove with exposed wiring just behind the kick plate. The owner came by today with a "colleague" to "investigate." His colleague admitted that a plate should cover the exposed wiring. Rather than admit this grievous oversight, the owner offered up this absurd explanation: Someone else removed the plate in the four years since the original installation. No one removed the plate. No one. Why would anyone do that? He also claims that he installed a shut off valve. I have asked the TSSA to launch an investigation. Save yourself the risk and trouble my family has unknowingly endured for four years. I urge you to choose another contractor. The owner will no doubt respond to this warning with denials and accusations. You can believe him if you want to but, if you do, you will regret it.
