Do not send your child here. My baby came home with bruises and when I called they acted like they didn't know anything about it. They sent me pictures of her drinking out of somebody else's sippy cup. When I withdrew her they sent us home with another child's clothes. Oh not to mention they don't want you to bring bottles because they "have nowhere to refrigerate them" like tf am I supposed to send her up there with smh. Staff wanted to act all professional when I was ready to withdrawal but you could tell they really didn't gaf. The only reason I gave them 1 star is because they made it mandatory to leave a rating. My 4 year old had been going to the location of 2731 Tobacco Rd, Hephzibah, GA 30815 since Aug of 2018. At first I thought this was a good school. When he started going there all the teachers knew of my son for being very sweet, smart and kind. I was involved with anything the kids had going on in class and even in other classes. We would even include all teachers when bringing gifts or baggies for the children. The teachers even helped us when I was between jobs, with his tuition and food before. which is why it really bothers me how all of this went down. Two months ago I had went to pick up my son earlier than usual, and on my way into the parking lot I seen that his class was outside. So pulling into the the lot slowly turning right down the hill I parked to see how my son was interacting with the other children. I then hear the teacher asking my son to get in line. She had asked my son 3 times to get in line. His focus was else where and when he didn't hear her. She speed walks to him and grabs him by his wrist off of the ground and put him in line herself. Automatically my mind went crazy. After seeing this teacher which I've never had any problems with put her hands on my son all because she wanted him in line. As furious as I was. I was still able to maintain my cool and pull the assistant director to the side and explain what I had just witnessed. I then walked to his class to get my son and his belongings. My statement to the teacher at fault Ms. Jody was that I will forever look at her different. The director pleaded with me about calling law enforcement until I had met with the owner to find a solution for this problem. The next day I had met with the owner and he had asked me what I had wanted to happen to the teacher at fault. I had told him that I'm not sure what their procedure for this type of thing was and he cut me off and said that he treats all students like they are his own children. That what Ms. Jody had done was unacceptable and how he would be letting her go. The incident had taken place on a wed. I was not comfortable leaving him in that classroom unless I knew she was gone. I had kept him from the school for thur and fri. He had returned a week later and wanted to say good bye to an old favorite teacher and he opened her class room door and there was Ms. Jody sitting watching over the 2 year old room. I had then called the police to file a report since it was going to take a week or two to get a change of providers and to have a paper trail just in case anything ever happened to my son or god forbid someone else's. When the police got there the owner had told the assistant director to inform the officer and I that he was on his way. Not only did he not show but the director acted as if I did not inform her of the incident between the teacher and my son and wouldn't give any information to the officer. I got my report and unfortunately had to keep them as a provider for 2 weeks until I could get a transfer. During this time my son came home telling me that they had him in empty class rooms, they didn't provide him with the blankets or sheets he had brought from home and that they stopped giving him milk. On a different occasion I had went to pick my son up and as I'm standing outside of the class room door I could hear a teacher yelling shut up and stop. Praying they weren't screaming at my son I walked in and another 4 year old had been standing in his chair and right when I was standing there the same teacher screaming shut up and stop had kicked the chair from under this child. I didn't make a scene or speak to this teacher. I got my son and on our way out I once again stopped the assistant director and informed her of what I had just witnessed. She had told me she would contact the owner and inform the parent of the child. Not putting her into this but I knew the mother of the child who had the chair kicked from under him and I had tried calling her to inform her. When she had called me back and we spoke about the situation, she had then asked me to meet her at the school to be a witness for her for when she called the police. I had came back to the location gave my statement and helped calm down the mother of the child. The mother had exchanged some words and the teacher who had kicked the chair, blatantly stated that yes she kicked it and that he wouldn't have gotten hurt because she does it all the time. How she did it to prove a point. she made that statement in front of the mother and her children and other teachers sticking around to see the outcome. The assistant director even told the mother that no one had informed her of what had happened to her child. After she got the information she needed and her report I had left. My son had went to day care the next day without any problems and come Friday Morning I am dropping him off and the owner has told me that because of the problems read more
