I have not been here on a regular day but I did stop by for an event being hosted here recently. The space is small but it is so cute. I loved the decor. The outside space is also nice. I could see this being a nice spot to go to on a regular basis just to grab a quick bite and vibe. I did not grab any food this time but I did order the caramel latte. Whenever I go to a coffee shop to order a drink, I am quickly reminded that I have no idea what I'm talking about. The lady helping me at the counter was so patient and helpful. I was going to try the Cherry Blossom latte but decided not to stray too much from what I'm used to. The iced caramel latte with oat milk was so good. It felt like I drunk it in two sips. This is a cute and photogenic cafe for a quick breakfast or lunch - there are faux flowers and greenery everywhere that makes it feel like an indoor garden. The cafe located on the ground floor of the medical center (facing the parking garage). There is plenty of free parking. They offer a good selection of sandwiches and salads as well as coffee and tea. I had the BLT, which was very tasty. Service is friendly and very quick. There are a few outdoor tables as well. Pleasant surprise while visiting her for my CT scan. Located on the first floor by the entrance to Building 8503, this café is perfect to grab a quick bite or drink while waiting for your appointment or to socialize with family/friends. The ambiance is very colorful and festive with flower decorations everywhere. There are plenty of seating indoors and a couple outdoors as well. First and foremost the people who worked there were amazing - sweet as can be and so friendly...I'd go back just to be around them!! I played it simple with a bagel and cup of tea and they were good - nothing to write home about, but I was hungry and then I wasn't so there's that. I will say this - the reel was wildly misleading (to no fault of the owners/employees) and made it out to have this cute, cozy and intimate vibe, but it's not. It's a larger space with cafeteria quality decor that just didn't seem to match up. There is not ONE thing wrong with it - just wasn't what we anticipated. I visited this cafe recently, and I can confirm that the beautifully adorned interior lives up to the hype that I've seen on social media. I ordered a venti mocha, a glacé (ice cream served with espresso, kind of like an affogato!), and a smoked salmon sandwich served on a croissant. This place has always been one that me and my family have always wanted to experience. It's near a lot of places we frequent out that way in the NOVA region. Most times we've come, the place was either closed or we just gave up looking for it. To be fair, our kids are young so we gave up when they had enough time in the car. We finally had a chance to check this place out recently and I was happy that we were able to try it out. First thing I thought when I walked in was that this place seems "cozy". Hence the name. So if they were going for that vibe, they definitely nailed it. My wife got the bimibap bowl and I'm mad I didn't get the same thing. It smelled and tasted sooooo good. I would come back just to get it for myself. I did get the chicken sandwhich which was ok. It didn't blow me out of the park, but it did taste good. They also have good fries, too. The ambiance of this cafe is amazing. The location is hard to find I almost left because it looked like only a hospital. But believe me the inside is gorgeous definitely lives up the the cozy name. The staff was very kind. We got an iced latte, iced coffee, breakfast burrito, and the breakfast sandwich. The iced coffee was sub par however when we asked to add milk to it the staff noticed we didn't like it and remade without question into a delicious iced coffee. The caramel iced latte was phenomenal would recommend getting that. The breakfast sandwich was good but so thin so for $8 it was a little light. The burrito was very good and well worth it so I'd go that direction if coming here. Will say the croissant was so crispy and flaky so definitely enjoyed that. A very interesting surprise near Merrifield. Tucked away in the 8503 Building lies a cafe full of décor that you could say looks very botanical and very calm. Even the music selection here is on point too... very interesting to hear a place that plays Ichiko Aoba and even Laufey ( some one my favorite artists ) but that's not the point. The overall aesthetics; I absolutely adore and I think it's very instagrammable! I came here on a snowy afternoon looking for some coffee and something to eat. I got the Matcha Latte and a Bibimbap bowl. While I was hoping it'd be served in a thick porcelain or a ceramic cup, it's fine if it's in a to go cup. Probably better since they don't have to worry about washing it. The matcha latte, very smooth and not too bitter. You get a hint of that earthy flavour but it's countered with a hint of sweetness to it. Not too bad but I wish it was a bit hotter ( it's cold outside when I went ). I think the coffee is still worth getting! The Bibambap consisted of Bean sprouts, Spinach, Radish, Lettuce, Fried Egg, Gochujang Sauce, Jasmine Rice, and Beef ( it's optional ). It wasn't too packed but it did not make me full either. Enough to keep you from starving and that's fine; I don't want to feel bloated at a café. Plenty of seating here, and they even have board games if you just want to hang out with friends here for a bit. I love going to new coffee spots and this was todays choice! I was working on my taxes and wanted to be in a space where there was lots of .. SPACE! and being that it's a Saturday I knew that would could be hard to find, especially in a more well known spot. The pictures checked out. Plenty of space with PLENTY OF OUTLETS!! This is my biggest concern when going out to coffee shops. I work with my iPad so my cable cord is the short, standard one so it's hard to find a spot sometimes. Not the mention the ambiance is sooo cute. I love greenery. Finally the food was great. I got a grande vanilla cinnamon latte which wasn't too sweet (perfect) with an apple danish. I used to come here all the time bc of the old ownership, but the new people are horrible. They are so rude, sloppy, and the food is not the same. Ever since the old owners left this place, they honestly have been going downhill. They take forever to make coffee (which btw tastes like shit) and the food doesn't taste the same anymore. Before I would pay my whole bank account for the meals but after eating here, I would rather find food from the trash and call it a day. They really messed up by changing the way this cafe used to be PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. IT IS SO OVERPRICED AND THE FOOD IS UNEDITABLE. Cozy District Cafe is hidden in all the corporate looking offices and you have to park in an outdoor parking garage, but it is definitely pretty cozy on the inside with its sofas and seating (sofas seemed comfortable, but the seats and tables itself were pretty standard). Cozy District Cafe reminds me of a deli but with a bit more frills and food options other than sandwiches. My friend and I stopped by this Saturday morning to get some individual work done. THREE BERRIES DELIGHT - 7.25 This smoothie was really big so I guess it was worth the price. The consistency is more of a slushie than a smoothie, though. I liked the light amount of honey that sweetened it a bit and the creaminess of yogurt. From this, I would believe that there's no added sugar. We enjoyed the smoothies we got, and my friend liked the avocado toast she tried (which she finished really quickly). I'll try the food next time. read more

The last time I came here for a doctor's appointment there was another cafe here... but seems like there is new ownership and they must have hired someone to create a different kind of atmosphere... it really does feel like a flower boutique! It feels so cozy with all the plants (fake)... there is a seating area with comfortable couches and the feel of a cafe you want to hang out all day. It is a direct contrast to the sterile atmosphere of all the medical offices. It's like your own small oasis... Had a really fun time working from here recently. I was thrown off by the fact that it's basically inside of a medical center, but the interior was super cute with lots of greenery and flowers.
