The Quran and the Bible carry a common message: a good person helps people who need support. My experience at this center showed me the meaning of kindness and support. I am a resident of Wylie, and I needed observation hours for my bachelor's degree in education. I needed to complete my hours in Wylie because it was summer break, my children were at home, and I also needed to help take care of my elderly mother. I contacted many centers in Wylie and asked if I could complete my observation hours there. Unfortunately, some places did not give me an opportunity after they learned that I am Muslim. Then I contacted Kids Unlimited Early Care and Education and asked if I could observe at their center during July 2026. The Director, Ms. Vanessa Arce, welcomed me and treated me with kindness and respect. She completed my background check, and after everything was approved, she allowed me to complete my observation hours at the center. From my first day there, I felt welcomed. I saw how the teachers cared for the children, how the center was organized, and how much attention was given to creating a safe and positive environment for children. The center even has an indoor playground, which I thought was wonderful for the children. I promised myself that I would write a review so that other people could know about my experience. Ms. Vanessa Arce showed me that kindness and understanding can make a big difference in someone's life. At a time when I was having difficulty finding a place to complete my required hours, she gave me an opportunity and treated me with respect. I would encourage parents to look beyond just the services a childcare center provides. Before choosing a center, I believe it is important to learn about how the center treats families, teachers, children, and the community. I would like to sincerely thank Ms. Vanessa Arce, Center Director, for welcoming me, supporting me, and allowing me to complete my observation hours at Kids Unlimited. We had arrived for our sons first day, they did not know who we were or where he was supposed to be. We were walked around for 10 minutes from room to room until she figured it out. The lady continued to say "we have just signed up so many children lately, hard to keep track of everyone" When we did finally meet his "teacher" for the day it was a very cold experience. No comfort for the child and not welcoming what so ever. We had hoped this was an off day and spoke with their director Rebecca the following day. We were told this is not the normal and apologized and informed us it will get better, they continue to praise and announce that they continue adding more children yet the current children are still not properly cared for. Not enough staff in the rooms, when we show up for drop off there are typically kids wrestling, kids in corners crying and all around it looks like one big mess. The teacher is usually with 20+ kids and it is not enough. Immediately after discussing our issues, it seemed to be a touch better for a couple days as there was a new teacher and she was a lot better. But that did not last long and she was transferred and he got another even colder teacher. Everyday we arrive it's a new teacher, chaos, no consistency, no compassion or caring. When you enter the classroom, the teachers barely even look at you. They really do need to dive deep into their hiring practice. Upon visiting before signup, they spoke a big game and the facilities were all clean, we were excited to the fact our child would be learning while there - this was not the case. He was just recently at Bright Horizons in Plano but we wanted to get him closer. We have never had an experience quite like this and honestly hope no other families have to go through the same experience. We have removed him from Children's Lighthouse and got him immediately into a much better facility.

I have a very energetic boy and he often times is more than willing to test your patience and the ladies show extreme patience, often reminding me that, "boys will be boys and he is just a typical toddler". As a toddler I know that he is going to get hurt, but the teachers are always able to let me know the how and when and are knowledgeable in their first aid to the point that I don't have any anxiety or fears while he is away from me. He has recently moved into the Toddler Room and it's great having teachers who are willing to help with potty training when I'm ready, transitioning to a sippy cup, and just the other daily things that he is learning. He often comes home with new words and trying to sing songs from his class. For a childcare facility, I love the home away from home feeling that I'm having with this facility.

Terry would have an older kid beat up my son and others when she thought they where being bad. She would tell my son he was bad and even put a girls TUTU on him to make the class laugh at him! She told all the kids to "tell his mommy he is bad". I called Lisa the owner/director but she refused to call me back. In fact I was treated as if I did something wrong and Terry was the victim! Terry no longer works there ( surprise ). I also have messages from another teacher who worked there letting me know the truth about everything. I believe a lady by the name of Candace is working the front and she stated " she cant talk because she did not want to lose her job." I have proof of everything and don't mind posting it. I pulled her out at one point only because I was working in Mesquite and the drive in traffic was killing me. After trying two awful day cares, and having horrific experiences, I moved my job to Rockwall so I could have her back at White Hills. I cannot say enough about how well they treat her and me. She is now almost three and I cannot imagine moving her anywhere else. She wakes up in the morning excited to go to school and she has learned so much. Hi parents, if you are looking for a safe nurturing environment for your children I do not…read morerecommend this facility. My son used to go to White Hills and I am now ready to share our experience in hopes that this doesn't happen to anyone else's children. I received a phone call from the office, I was informed that my son had a low-grade fever so I said I'll be right there to pick him up. At the end of the conversation she began to tell me that my son also was not using his arm and was expressing discomfort with his arm. I was originally just feeling confused because those two things are unrelated and I wasn't sure why they didn't lead in with the fact that my son couldn't use his arm. Upon arrival I was not greeted with an incident report instead I was taken back to a classroom full of other children where my son was sitting and they were trying to give him sweets so he would stop crying. When I ask them what happened she told me she thought it could have happened in his sleep. (Not likely) She also said it could have been when he was swinging on the cubbies and the teacher had to get him down (this was all new information to me). I wanted to seek a professionals advice before making wild assumptions but it didn't sit well with me that she called and told me he had a low-grade fever for basically no reason when really my son was injured at their school and nobody knew for sure what happened apparently. I took my son to children's Medical Center to find out that he had a fracture in his elbow, as well as it being dislocated. I was informed that it was not likely the story given was what actually happened to my baby given the amount of trauma on his arm. It was a very traumatic experience for him to have nurses putting his elbow back in place and the x-rays were scary it was a nightmare. Not to mention the financial position it put me in having to take him out of school and stay home with him for that time being. It caused a lot of stress for our family. I called White Hills the next day and requested an incident report and had laura email it to me. His name wasn't even spelt correctly on the report, just overall not an organized facility. I know their intentions were not pure because from the beginning she should've called me and directly told me my son had an incident at their facility and wasn't able to move his arm. I should have been greeted with an incident report and someone should've been able to tell me exactly what happened to my baby and at what time. I asked to see the footage and Laura (the lady in the office) told me that would be fine only to call me back to tell me the cameras aren't recording and that they can only be seen in real time. But it's weird because when I had an investigator come to check they were told that the cameras had been broken since the winter storm. So which is true that the cameras don't record or the cameras are broken? There was a few other signs about this facility that bothered me that I overlooked because I thought that he was comfortable there, When he was in the infants room I had multiple situations where the teacher made me uncomfortable and or would make snide comments about the clothes or shoes that I would bring him in. I brought him in little soft lumberjack boots one time for the class photo and as I was walking out I heard her talking to my son telling him come here boy let me fix your plastic shoes in a very sarcastic manner. I talked with the owner Bill about it and he told me nothing would ever happen like that again, I trusted them with my child safety and they neglected to handle the situation accordingly. I made a mistake in trusting them and my baby had to suffer because of it, I just hope other parents don't choose to do the same with this facility.
