My daughter has been attending this daycare for six months, and she is now two years old. I absolutely love the teachers; she has learned so much in this time. The director and other staff members are incredibly kind, always greeting us with smiles and ready to assist in any situation. My son was enrolled for less than 6 months. I didn't feel it was a safe environment for him. He was always getting hurt by other kids. Classroom was always chaotic. He had 3 different teachers in the short time he was there. On 2 separate occasions, he came home in pull ups that were not his own. Even after I told them that I use those brands specifically because he breaks out with others. He was always coming home with bruises or scratches. And on sooooo many occasions, nearly every time I picked him up, he told me about kids grabbing him, punching him, or being mean to him. He was in the pre-school program. The classroom lacked supervision and I do not feel he was well cared for there at all. Also, the updates on the app that I was supposed to get every day became less and less. I do not recommend this place to any parent who wants to feel that their child is safe and well looked after while not in their presence. 1/10 read more

I have been with this daycare since 2019.. when I first arrived, they were professional, teachers were somewhat consistent, and communication was great. However, in the last year, and more specifically 2 months, they lost their 3rd director, the turnover of teachers since 2020 has been high and the communication from the owners diminished completely. Now they have closed the daycare for a week next week due to no staff. They have one teacher left, no directors and no other administrators. The owners have not reached out to any parents about what is going on either. Quality of work, communication, and staff have decreased drastically and the owners don't care. Very upset with how things have turned out with this company because my daughters loved it so much at one point. I blame the owners completely for this type of behavior. Very disappointed. read more

I would have giving it a 1 stars but because I loved my sons first classroom so much I'll do 2, first let me start by saying there is ALWAYS too many kids in the class with 1 teacher ALWAYS! I've witness multiple times kids walking around snotty noses, snot falling off their faces! my son contacted hand, foot and mouth, Covid and RSV at this center so that should tell you about the lack of disinfecting that goes one! but let's talk about little miss danielle in the front office and the audacity that she has! she took it upon herself to run my card SEVERAL times with out asking! a few times they weren't supposed to run it period due to my co pay, dropping! but when my son needed 1!!! diaper she ran my card for $25 never called to tell me or even ask, nor warn me he was out! I told her to remove my card after the countless of times they charged me a copay that I didn't have to pay! and made me wait 2 weeks to get my money back but she didn't! she proceeded to RUN my card again for a payment without telling or asking! where in the guidelines does it say you can unknowingly charge someone's card! next I witness her yea her being aggressive with my son SEVERAL times! I didn't say anything at first! but then I noticed her doing it one day after 4 kids stood on top of a table! because yes her teacher pays NO attention to them! she grabs each kids one by one and when she gets my son she slams him on the floor in what she called "time out" he's 1 MIND YOU, so him and the kids made their way back on the table and she did it AGAIN only this time she sat him out of cameras view and kneeled down in his face where she could no longer be seen! but let Danielle tell it he pulled her down! so i confronted her like ANY real mother would do! in the same aggresive way she handled my baby and let her know next time things will be worse for her! mentioned it to the office whom claim they would receive everything, talk to her and call me OF COURSE Danielle unorganized, unprofessional behind DIDNT call me . I let management know the next day not to place him in her class since they FAILED to give her any disciplinary action! 2 days pass! she approach me and tell me my son can no longer come due to the converstation I had with her teacher whom physically assaulted my baby! LETS BE CLEAR! and I know this wasnt the first time! this daycare and management is a joke! can't keep any staff and now I see why. I'm ok with him NEVER returning but not with her not even sending this lady home for one day! the lack of empathy and concern she has is mind bogglin! but I will have the news on this! if your kids can't talk DONT TRUST THIS CENTER! don't even give them access to your credit card! because she will charge it at her own will! read more

My boys had gone to this daycare for quite a while. Both had made tons of friends, some they went to school with. Most of the teachers were decent. Some better than others. They offer great programs such as field trips and monthly events for the older kids. HOWEVER...they are unfortunately under new management. This daycare went from a warm, welcoming environment to extremely rude. Only go here if you can tolerate ignorance. I regret sending people to this daycare by word of mouth. Such a shame. My daughter has always been a late bloomer. She has been through speech therapy and physical therapy. She had never been in day care before. I enrolled her with Tree House Academy 10 months ago. She was 2 1/2 but wasn't able to talk at all so she was placed in a younger class. The teachers have all worked with her so much, and have taught her so many things. She is now talking like crazy and is in a class with kids her own age. I love this day care. Everyone is so friendly and it is always very clean. My daughter is excited to go every morning and always in a good mood when I pick her up. They also have PBJ monitoring so you can always check in with your child and see how they're doing. read more

Our son started here at 12 weeks old and we were SO lucky to have Ms. Connie take care of him. She was outstanding! She loved him like her own and kept us informed on any and everything! My children have been going to Treehouse Academy since November 2015 and we love it. The teachers are very supportive of all the children. The Director and Assistant Director are very personable and all about family. My children are not just a number at this school. I have had many changes in my household this past year and Dottie (The Director) has been very understanding and for that I am thankful. I just gave a birth in June of this year and I didn't have any jitters when returning to work and leaving the baby at daycare because I know the staff is amazing and will take care of her. There are not many daycares in Rowlett that offer 6am to 6:30 pm care but Treehouse does which was a relief when my work hours got moved to 7am to 4pm. I would definitely recommend this school! read more

My son has been going to this daycare for almost a year. I will say that I strongly considered moving him over the summer due to inconsistencies and some things I observed with his teacher. However, he was moved to a different teacher that he really likes. There are several things I like about Tree House Academy. The hours are nice, the security system gives peace of mind, and I really enjoy being able to take a peek at my son over the cameras in the rooms. That being said, there are still some things that could improve. For a couple weeks we would get a sheet of paper telling information about my son's day (food, diapers, nap, activities etc) that I wish would be handed out again. Diaper changes could be more frequent and they could be more vigilant about wiping runny noses. I would recommend Tree House Academy. It is very affordable compared to some of the other facilities in the area and they are really friendly. I can tell my son's current teacher really likes her kids, which makes me happy. read more

Where do I start. The month of December my son who is 3 came home and we had to practically peel his clothes off of him. You wanna know why? He was in the middle of being potty trained. His teachers requested that I send him in underwear. Well I did and he came home in damp urine. It smelled like very old pee. One of the teachers immediately told me he had a accident 10 mins into being there. Unfortunately he stayed the night with my mother so his backpack with his back up clothing were in my car. I never received a call asking me to bring him extra clothing. So they put a pull up on his and put the urine soaked clothing back on him. To make matters worse, when his father picked him up, he was outside. He came home and when we went to take him a bath, had to peel the babies clothes off of him. When I went to Karen the director she acted very concerned. Said that she was getting to the bottom of the situation. And that she had gotten two stories, and was trying to figure out which of her teachers were lying. She asked that we not remove the kids and that she would be hiring new people and changes were coming. We believed her for the simple fact that there are some great teachers there like my sons infant teacher and the cook Cassie who always went out of her way to help in the mornings with my son who is completely in love with her. Well yesterday I found out that my 3 year old son came home in a jacket. Not the heavy duty coat I sent him to treehouse with. When I called the next morning inquiring about where his coat is and why is it constantly coming up missing (this was the 3rd time) I received a very rude response from the front desk/ receptionist Jill. I also asked why my children were being taken outside in 30 degree weather including my 1 year old. She fed me a story about they are required by state to take them outside. This was my 2nd time asking her this. The first time she told me the weather had to be 45 degrees and above in order for them to take them outside. The day of this incident the temperature was 32. So she pretty much back pedaled on what she told me. Then proceeded to tell me if I am so unhappy I need to pull my kids. Mind you I called and asked for Karen who she told me was not there. I immediately hung up the phone and went to the daycare to not only speak with Karen but to get my sons coat. Fast forward 9 mins later I arrive Karen is magically sitting in her chair with a very annoyed look. The moment I get I tell Jill I no longer need to speak with her my business was with Karen. Karen responds with if you think I'm going to tell you anything other than what she did you are sadly mistaken. I then tell her I don't think I'm being unreasonable by wanting my son to come home in the coat I sent him to school in. She then responds that she has a hundred other coats to keep up with and thinks it's sad that I can't put my sons name on the inside of his coat ( his name is inside of all of his coats) I then asked her where is the coat? She responds with she is having a teacher search for it now. So I asked her well how do you know his name isn't in the inside? That's called assuming. She had the most stupid look on her face. I then proceeded to pull my phone out and record because I was shocked at how I was being treated all because they lost my sons coat. She then proceeded to say she wasn't going to argue with me and asked me to leave the premises. While my children were still there. She also said because I was refusing to listen to her that my children would be dropped from the daycare. Needless to say my children will never step foot in this place ever again. My kids have attended treehouse before this new management and we loved it. Since Karen has come in the place is filthy, kids are constantly sick, my entire family caught strep throat because there was a outbreak at the daycare. Kids sitting in their own urine all day. All Karen does is sit on her computer and the only time she comes out is to go into the infant room to hold her granddaughter. I wouldn't send my dog here let alone a child. I had so many high school friends and people who actually worked at treehouse tell me to get my kids out of there. I now see why. Please don't sent your children here.
