My cell phone is my life line to family and work most people these days. It was the day after Christmas and my phone would no longer charge or connect to my charging cord. i phone the store to see if they were open and the young lady on the phone was so helpful and just said bring it in we will take a look at it. I did, and wIth in 5 minutes of taking it to the back, she returned up front she simply smiled and open her hand up to show me that the top portion of my charging cord was "stuck" in my phone. Our older IMac was in the process of dying, running very slowly and freezing up often. But it is far superior to our more modern laptop for doing any significant writing. Dwayne and the crew removed the old hard disk, installed a new solid state unit, and transferred everything over. Used them t replace a faulty battery in an iPad. Called first to make sure it would be done and to get a price. Dropped it off and was told by 2 people it would take about 2 days. They also tested it while I was there to verify it was the battery. I then had to call 3 times to get a status after the 2 days. Each time they said it was the battery and wanted to see if I wanted it replaced. They called me after the fact twice and acted like I had just dropped it off and they needed to check it. Both times again, would you like for us to replace the battery. Finally after a week of waiting it was ready. Each time I spoke too someone they were very nice. I feels they could do a better job at running their business. I told the same person the same thing 4 times. I told 2 persons the same thing twice. I also wanted the iPad wiped to factory, I had to state this a total of 6 times. Possibly a paper trail to follow the device that's dropped off would help them? Seems very chaotic and early makes you wonder if you've made the right choice. In the end the iPad lives again. Only a 30 days warranty on the battery which I feel is rather short for the price that's paid for it. read more

My iphone 11 pro max got the dreaded perpetual reset. It had been one year since i backed up my phone and i couldnt access anything to back it up. I was in danger of losing everything from the past year; photos, contacts, memes, everything. The last thing i googled was "why does my phone keep rebooting?" It said my battery needed to be replaced. So i took it to CPR paid $220 for a new screen and battery. Problem was gone for a week then came back. I took off work to get to cpr at 3:30 before they closed and told dewayne the problem. He was very empathetic and very determined to help since i was considered his customer. He stayed an hour after closing diagnosing my phone swapping out his parts looking for a fault and found the problem. It was a faulty speaker cable. Luckily he had one in stock from another parts 11 pro max. He gave me a discount on the used part because i was already a customer and installed it for free. Phone has been great ever since and i went home and backed it up immediately. Super grateful for dewayne holloway and cpr. Dont know many owners that would go that above and beyond for their customers. Super cool guy. read more

So I dropped and broke my phone on Christmas Eve... well I took it to CPR (cell phone repair) off Gill st in Alcoa... they fixed it with an hour and it costed me 180$ yay right... NO!!! Two days later my phone started showing signs of a cracked LCD in the front right hand corner . I called them to let them what was happening and what my phone was doing. They said it's okay we'll it's under a lifetime warranty so bring it back in at anytime and we look at it.. I told them I was working and couldn't come in until after the new year. They said that was fine.. well I worked all way up the the 3rd of January. So I took the phone to them on the 5th, by this time my phone was completely broke I couldn't see anything on my phone.. it kept glitching and it was unusable but I didn't have time to take it to them until then... so I go in and a guy greets me looks at my phone and say oh yes no problem we should be able to fix that under your warranty.. he takes my phone to the back and then a another guy named Dwayne cones out and hands me back my phone and says oh I'm sorry but u have damaged ur phone somehow and that's not under your warranty if u want us to fix it it be another 90$. I told him no way I literally had my phone for 2 days and it messed up and wouldn't work anymore so u all need to fix it. He said well u must have dropped it or something cause it's got small pin holes in the LCD part. I said I'm telling u right now no I didn't matter of fact it's been at home in my dresser cause I couldn't use it do the screen and not able to see anything on it. He said I'm not calling U a liar but I have been in this business for 7 years and I'm telling U that u must have broke it again... by this time I'm getting very upset and I said I'm gonna tell u one more time I I've not dropped it, he said well maybe one of ur kids did and didn't tell u they did. I said are u serious right now man. I mean u fixed my phone on dec, 24th, and on the 26th it was messed up and now u are not gonna fix it the right way I mean it should be under my warranty.. he said well I don't know what u did to ur phone but the 90$ is not coming g out of my pocket to fix your phone that u Have obviously dropped.... Well I yanked out of his and go to my car to leave, he called me before I got out of the driveway and I could barley see the screen to answer but I got it answered he began to tell me I can bring it back in and he will take a pic of it and send it to his manufacturer and see if they will let me replace under my warranty since it's broke again. Well I took the phoneBack in he took a screenshot then he told me that he will get a hold of me within 24 hours and let me know what they said but by the time to 24 hours was up my phone was completely where I couldn't see nothing on it at all I cannot Call Out I couldn't see who's calling me I couldn't see text messages nothing it was just a big light that hurt your eyes when you looked at your phone.. so instead of dealing with CPR again I took it the apple store and had it looked again... well the apple store immediately realized that The top right-hand corner of my phone which is where the LCD light started breaking up was not flush with the rest of my phone so my phone was rised up in the corner they said to me I guarantee that what is happened is who ever fixed your phone before missed a screw they did not screw one down because otherwise if not how it would be flushed with the rest of your phone so they took my phone apart and guess what they found yep there is was a damn screw sticking up where when the people at CPR fixed it on tke 24th they didn't put it back together right!!!! So with that screw not being screw downed it punctured my LCD screen on the inside I didn't have any cracks on the outside of my phone it was all on the inside of my phone where the screw had not been screwed down so the Apple store had to fix the problem that CPR messed up on which costed me another $287 to have my screen fixed again so when I left there I immediately called CPR to let them know what had happened and ask for a refund on my phone that they had supposedly fixed on the 24th they told me they would not give me a refund cause they texted me at 12:24 pm and told me to bring it back in and they would fix cause the manufacturer told them they could but at that time I couldnt see my phone nor get any text messages so I had no idea that they text me and told me to bring the phone back in they knew this they knew I could not see on my phone whatsoever because I had already had my phone the day before and seeing how it was acting ... so not only will they NOT REFIND me the 180$ I gave them to fix it they have very shitty customer service... pls don't take you phone or anything to them to fix they obviously do not know what the hell they are doing!! here is a picture of what apple store found once they opened my phone and u can even see the little pin holes the screw left!! read more

My daughter is autistic and her i pad is her life , as most parents of children with ASD know it can be their only source of communication. My daughter's screen cracked and we made the mistake of taking here to have it repaired. It was terrible work , the screen started to come off within a few days. Of course I don't have time to drop everything and make the 30 minute drive back to them so it's our fault their work sucked. If you need an ipad repaired just take some place else. The employees are rude and the owner is even worse. I'm sure he will leave a smart a** remark just like he does anyone who doesn't agree with him. He was supposed to call me back but of course he didn't. Terrible customer service. Also all he could say every sentence is how he owns 3 stores , Im not sure if he wanted a cookie or what . MotoZ4 screen repair 9/3/2021. Refurbished screen used (we thought they always used certified motorola product) By 10/10 lines appear across screen. Contacted this business for replacement of defective screen. Told we had to come in before they could order and then it would take a day or two. We were in Alabama. Representative said to take it to any CPR Cell Phone Repair and they would take care of it. Called back later and confirmed that we could go to any CPR business. 10/27 we took it to Columbus Ohio Sancus store. Screen found to be missing the edge piece. Also noted small lines on back glass. We contend the cracks on back were there before and after ALCOA repair. We questioned those cracks when picking up the phone, Eric at ALCOA stated it wouldn't affect phone use. We don't have a picture of the back of the phone to PROVE this. The owner of this CPR franchise in ALCOA is denying repair, won't cover Columbus repair stating the phone MUST have been dropped. Interesting enough, the Columbus Ohio CPR Cell Phone Repair was ALSO not going to replace the back glass on THIS repair, I requested it to be replaced. In my mind this PROVES the statement made by ERIC at ALCOA CPR and the condition of the phone when we picked it up at ALCOA. IT WASN'T dropped, we have excellent insurance that would cover any repair if that was the case. We have no benefit in lying about the screen. This CPR Cell Phone franchise uses cheap, defective product at a premium price point and then does not back up their work. I will not use this CPR Cell Repair and most likely not anywhere again. Welcoming and gracious upon entry but do NOT back up their service. Buyer beware. read more

The absolute worst customer service I've ever received. They took my phone in the back to fix my phone and came out without my case so I said I didn't want to pay the bill until I got my case back Then they threatened to call the cops on me. After calling corporate and reviewing the cameras they finally made good but the guy that works the counter there should be fired immediately read more

Nate did great job fixing my IPod when battery would not charge I would recommend CPR

My IPhone wouldn't start charging when I put the pin in the port. I took it to Dewayne on a Sunday afternoon shortly before he closed and he figured out in seconds that debris had gotten into the port. He cleaned it out, even sprayed some screen cleaner on, didn't charge me a dime. I will see him again when I need to extend the life of this phone, for whatever repairs will keep it working. I most definitely want to get as many years out of this phone as I can and not have to pay mega-bucks for an overpriced new phone and plan. I recommend Dewayne for those of us who want to get the most out of the phone we have and are loathe to spend $500-$1,000 for an overpriced toy. read more
