I was getting nowhere on a reasonable price, as most were quoting 285-300. I finally gave up and had set an appt with iTech, as they didn't have the screen in stock I was forced to wait a week, and they told me very specifically they would have it Wednesday so I had arranged for my wife to be there Thursday morning. When calling that morning to confirm, I was then told maybe they'd have it later that day, and they wanted me to wait longer. The problem was that I had already started porting all my numbers and upgrading phones over to T mobile, and I had some time set aside later in the day on Thursday to complete everything, but I needed my wife's phone to not have a cracked front screen. So I call Sam at A1 Mobile Solutions, and he tells me he has it in stock, and my wife can be there in 30mins. Perfect! As she was already up that way, which is why I had scheduled everything the way I had. I assumed this would still cause a delay in our schedule, but Sam got the job done much faster than I was quoted everywhere else (1-2 hrs) and only took him 15-20 minutes, and for a bit less $ than everyone else too! My wife and him also hit it off having a conversation about homeschooling, as he was just recently starting to consider it, and we all felt like this was serendipity. Half the reason I'm writing this review is for personal reference, so if I ever need a screen repaired again I'll be able to easily find Sam through my review history. BUYER BEWARE!!!! I went in to Techy this afternoon as the back of my iphone was cracked due to an old and bad battery. I went in to Lamar who told me he could fix it no problem as well as replace the battery. While he was taking down my information, I received a phone call and Lamar heard the entire conversation and knew my phone was working just fine - there were no problems with the phone itself, just the cracked back. When I went to pick it up three hours later, it was NOT WORKING AT ALL. I asked Lamar for help several times and he told me he was too busy. I left the store and then went back in and demanded he look at it. He told me it was my carrier, I knew it was NOT the carrier as it was working just fine as I said. I ran quickly to Xfinity in the same plaza and at first they said it was not working because I had no Sim card, (Lamar removed the SIM card and did not put it back) so I ran back over and Lamar swore he did not touch the Sim card. I went back to xfinity and they were kind enough to give me a new SIM card but the phone would not work at all. They said they had never seen all the error messages, they called their top guy in to help me and he could not fix anything, he called HQ and said that TECHY definitely broke my phone and the only hope I have is the apple store. I went back to TECHY and again LAMAR would NOT look at my phone and told me I was crazy and he did not touch the card or do anything to my phone. Um, why is it now broken? I am now home at 8pm with no phone, no back up phone and will go to apple first thing in the morning. I am so upset, I should have gone to APPLE in the first place. DO NOT GO HERE - they are extremely incompetent and RUDE. I can not believe they get any good reviews. I just went in and re read the reviews and apparently I am not the only one whose phone they broke. Read the bad reviews before the good ones, I wish I had. It was shattered and possibly needed a whole new "house" as it was called. I dropped by today, came in, within 5 mins was quoted (super affordable!) and device was fixed within 1.5 hour timeline (honestly, it was fixed faster). He was so nice, he could see my son was a little upset that he had to hand his phone over (he's on the spectrum and electronics are his special interest) and acknowledged him with kindness asking him if he was okay and explained to him what needed to be done. We had been having issues with the phone charging for awhile, but it finally just stopped charging altogether. I went through the normal avenues to get it looked at. And Apple wanted me to sign-in to my account and find a repair center, and Best Buy wasn't going to be able to see me until the end of July. I needed a Phone Fix, and I stumbled upon these guys, located in my local Walmart. Turns out, I just walked in, and not only were they very friendly and professional, but I didn't need a new charging port after all. There was just this huge piece of dust living in our port. Gross! I would not recommend repairing your phone here unless you are looking for a quick fix to last you…read morea week. 30 days after I got my screen replaced, I need a new one! I came here 12/7 to repair my phone screen due to water damage. I dropped my phone off between 12-1 pm. I never received a call regarding my phone status so I didn't get my phone back until 6 or 7 pm. My screen was visibly different than the original screen which made me feel unsettled but relieved it was working again. Due to the new screen, I no longer had Face ID. My total was around $100 1/10 I noticed my new screen was lifting off, literally coming off out of nowhere. A few days go by and the screen cracked at the bottom due to the screen not being properly secured on the phone. I stopped by today to hopefully get it repaired and he wanted to charge me $85 to replace the screen. I would have not had this issue if the screen was properly secured the first time. Why should I pay for a new screen again? It was not my fault. It's unfortunate that companies do not go above for customers services. They literally did not install my screen correctly! And now I am responsible for the damage. Waste.
