ZERO STARS!!!! My phone broke and the screen was cracked, so they came and picked up my phone, and since they don't have a store, they drove to you to fix phones it. For $360, they assured me they would fix it. Later on that day, they handed me back the phone. At first glance, the phone seemed to be functioning when they handed it to me, but shortly after, I discovered that the cellular data was not functioning. Before I gave them my phone, it was working. I have proof of that. They assured me that the phone would be fixed by tomorrow when I gave it to them again. He gave me nothing tomorrow. On the second day, I received a runaround saying that someone was coming from Texas to fix the phone. On the third day, I checked in with him via phone, but he stopped answering my calls, so I had to text him. He stated that his manager will take care of it. (But earlier he said he was the manager.) After a while, he stopped answering my text too. After I mentioned the police, surprisingly, he started responding to my text again. He replied with a text, saying he would fix the phone. Tomorrow. Still nothing. I texted him, asking him to please give my phone back to me. I am not interested in having it fixed anymore with you; I am going elsewhere. Finally My phone was returned; by this time, it had been a week since I had given it to him. As soon as I touched my phone, it went dark; nothing worked. It is pitch black. This was my encounter with his business. They didn't return my phone calls. They claimed that I had called 22 times, but who wouldn't? if you were not answering my calls and you were in possession of my property? I do not see anything wrong with that. this place is a scam. My iPhone 15 screen was cracked and dented. I asked them to run a diagnostic before changing the screen and I was assured it was the screen well after $270 and a new screen it still didn't work so they wanted to charge me because there was other parts. They had the phone for two days and did not tell me anything would not return my calls or text messages. Finally, I asked for my old screen back the phone back, picked it up out of an office that is no longer there now they promised me they were going to refund my $270 and they're nowhere to be found. In July of 2022 I paid Cody, the owner of That Phone Fix Place $315 to order a new screen for my Galaxy S21 Ultra. He claimed he did not have one in the store and it would have to be special ordered. Since that date he has done nothing but give me the run around claiming at lest 8 times that he was sorry, would refund my money and credit my bank account. Well, here we are 7 months later and still no refund. At this point he has basically STOLEN $315 FROM ME. Buyer beware! The phone did not work when I got it home, I brought it back the next day (that was two weeks ago), but the owner still has my phone, won't return phone calls or text messages, and apparently plans to keep my money and my phone. I only leave reviews for outstanding or terrible experiences and this was my best phone experience yet. I was on vacation in Florida over the weekend when I dropped my phone on its corner and shattered my screen. I happened to pass by this shopping center about 15 minutes afterwards when I saw the catchy store name and I found it very funny and it was meant to be. I walked in without calling and the guy Cody took care of me on the spot. He was a very cool guy! We had a great convo for the 20 min it took to have my phone like new! In the past I would have to leave my phones, come back after 2 hours and pick it up with people barely even making eye contact. I rate this place 10/10 for its convenience, service and great quality. This is literally the most unprofessional place. I do not recommend going here at all. I dropped my phone off to fix a cracked back and ended up now paying for an entire new $300 phone. They messed with the hardware underneath and the phone wouldn't turn on or restore. When I went back to have them fix it they treated me with no respect acting like I had no idea what they had done. They told me to come back the next day so they could fix it and when I showed up they had not even started to work on it at all. These people have no clue how to correctly fix a phone and it will end up costing you more than you anticipate. Do not recommend. No refund was given. read more
