I'm incredibly disappointed in my experience with Cell Phone CPR on Coliseum Blvd. I brought in my iPhone 14 Pro Max to have the camera lens replaced--a minor crack from a drop months ago. The phone had been working just fine, and I only wanted to be proactive in getting it fixed. Fast-forward three days after their repair, and the same lens is cracked again, despite no drops, bumps, or accidents. I took it back, assuming a business with "CPR" in the name might stand by their work. Wrong. They claimed the crack was due to a "puncture" and refused to honor their warranty, even though I had done absolutely nothing to cause damage. I asked what good a warranty is if it doesn't cover a repair that clearly didn't hold up, and they basically shrugged it off. Honestly, I would have been better off keeping the original, lightly cracked lens than paying for a replacement that failed within days. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. I wouldn't trust this place with a phone case, let alone a repair. read more

I give zero but not an option! Took phone in because online ad said they had parts in stock for my phone, got there on Friday and told needed to order part, Monday still no phone, told sent wrong part had to wait 2 more days, never called me because girl working didn't put correct phone number in computer! Finally got phone back and 3 days later started doing the same thing, had it fixed elsewhere and was told part was not new and had been repaired not replaced! Asked for the guarantee of work refund but never got one, contacted BBB and this company never resolved issue! Go elsewhere!!! read more

Requested a quote and got a response in about a half hour. My iPad Pro wouldn't charge and I thought I had broken the charging port. They gave me a very good quote to repair it (Apple wanted $500). When I took it in they tested it and it charged! It turned out to be that I had two failed charging cables. I also wasn't using a power block as recommended. They sold me a new charging cable (and a power block) and I'm back in business far faster and cheaper than I expected. They could have simply done the quoted repair and made more money, but they didn't. I've been on Yelp for 12 years with only 24 reviews. Earlier this year, I had my iPhone 11 Pro Max battery replaced here. The install was simple, easy and most importantly fast. It took about 45 minutes and, and they happily did it one hour before closing. Surprised by the quality of the work, I decided to return there last week when I dropped and cracked my entire back glass of my iPhone. Set up for appointment was easy, and I showed up the next day to drop it off. Once I picked it up, I rushed out due to a busy schedule, not inspecting my device thoroughly and trusting their work. Needless to say, that even when I got home and looked under better light I realized many things. - The back glass was not a genuine Apple part, despite their bold claims on their website. There was no Apple logo and the camera module bumps were much less obvious. Not a deal breaker but still annoying nothing was mentioned. - Next, as I observed more closely, I noticed their were several deep scratches in the metal rim around the camera lens. The technician must have scratched them when trying to break off the old glass. - The next thing I noticed was the rear microphone mesh in the camera module square was punctured and a visible hole was broken in it. - Similarly the LED flash module above the Telephoto lens was chipped in the corner. The flash still works, but a very visible chip out of the white plastic is apparent. - And to top it all off, I examined the edges of the phone where they sealed the back glass on and noticed a a lot of remaining residue of the glue they used to attach the glass back on. In addition a few faint scratches in the polished stainless steel were visible, where the technician, once again, probably used a knife or some sort to try to break off glass. Now I usually try to give some people the benefit of the doubt, but the fact that there were many flaws in this repair really aggravated me. I am keeping my phone in the case most of the time so it doesn't even matter. What does matter is that fact that they didn't even mention anything. I'm am going to be looking for a refund. I highly wouldn't suggest going to this location for a repair. Find a more reputable repair shop that you trust. Maybe if they refund and accept responsibility I will change my view on the store. read more

I had an old Galaxy S8 that I wanted to get some data from. Could not get it to turn on even with a full charge. Took it to place number one. "Would try to have it by the end of the next day and estimated about $75". Took to place #2. Never even touched the phone and guessed it was a bad battery and would have to order. Then took to CPR. This was all in the span of 45 minutes as all three places are close. Looked at the phone said give us a couple hours to get inside and see what's going on. Had it done in 2 hours, turned out to be a simple fix, and the price was EXTREMELY REASONABLE. They won my business forever. read more

The super-nice genius performed CPR on my shattered cell phone on the spot and resuscitated it! I thought it was kaput and all was lost after I dropped it on concrete this morning while at my son's soccer tournament in Fort Wayne. But the brilliant surgeon at CPR brought it back to life! And all the while he had a wonderful bedside manner, explaining the damages and the operation to me. I recommend that you drop your phone on concrete and take it to CPR just to watch his skills. (Just kidding. Back it up first, and then drop it. Obviously that's a bad joke. But when your phone does break accidentally, take it to CPR.) And he fixed it in time for my son and me to make it to his next soccer match. I have used this company on a couple different occasions. Most recently I had a screen replaced on an iPhone 6s Plus along with a battery replacement. Unfortunately there was a manufacturing defect with the new screen assembly and it failed by the second day. I contacted the employee there that repaired my phone and she had me bring it back to see what the problem was. She had my phone working and replaced the defective screen in less than an hour. I have used them in the past for repairs on the same phone where it wasn't charging properly and was fully prepared to pay for a new charging port and found out it was just really dirty. They cleaned it for me free of charge! No more issues charging after that. So in summary they save you money by keeping your devices going and they stand behind their work and quickly fixed any issues. They have a beautiful new location conveniently located on Coliseum Boulevard by the FedEx Kinkos Store. I visited the same day they were opening at their new location but look forward to seeing what kind of new products and services they'll be offering in the future. The guys pulled it out and, without looking at the model, shoved in a wrong piece and made my phone worse. Then, I did my research and read about Goldy Technology.
