We have gotten 2 pups from them in the last few years after knowing our neighbors 2 standards. Super happy with our small moyen girl "Paris" and standard boy "Elvis". When we went up we got to meet the parents of both dogs, in both cases you could tell by watching the parents run around they were happy and healthy. My future dogs are going to be from crabapple as well. When you go looking for a puppy please ask about their personalities and where they sit in the pack, please do not buy based off of color. Elvis and Paris are both very different in personality. we got Paris first and she wasn't super confident. After about 6 months I realized she needed a friend / second dog in the home who was mid to front of pack and male. So after she turned 2, and had gone through puppy school we started looking for a companion for her. A video of the her now brothers litter was posted and one of his siblings jumped on top of his head and there was no response from the little guy, that is when I knew we needed to go up and meet him. Elvis has helped Paris be more confident and they are inseparable. Go and reach out to Emily and Arlene, they were super helpful when finding a companion for our Paris. 5 out of 5 stars

I have 3 moyen poodles from Crabapple Downs one small standard/large moyen, one medium moyen and one small moyen and I am trying to convince my husband of a fourth moyen. I absolutely adore my poodles from Crabapple and I love Arlene and Emily. My first poodle is a sm. Standard/ lg. moyen, brown female and she just turned 4 yr on the third of July. My second poodle is a medium moyen male black poodle and he turned 2 at the end of January of this year. My third is a small moyen poodle that is light apricot and she will be 2 at the end of August this year. All my poodles have the best personalities and are so very smart and very sweet, I love them so much I want a fourth moyen. I would not go anywhere else for my poodles they are the best.

One of the last photos we have right after turning 5, when his cancer returned.

Dog Mountain - Interior of the chapel

Dog Mountain was one of the highlights of our recent 12-day New England road trip, and in fact, it…read morebecame our No. 2 favorite destination, and only surpassed by Acadia National Park in the No. 1 position. If you are a dog lover and/or dog owner, this is a place for you. First, you can bring your dog(s), on a leash or without, and let them run free (except in the gift shop... there, they must be on a leash)... but outside where the air is so fresh, the terrain is beyond beautiful, they can run around to their hearts' content. In addition to the breathtaking grounds, there is also an exceptional gift shop filled with all kinds of things from clothing to furniture and everything in between... all about dogs and all designed by Stephen Huneck, the creator and owner of Dog Mountain. In addition to this great gift shop is a Dog Chapel, also created by Mr. Huneck. It is a very beautiful, spiritual homage to dogs... a place where people of all faiths and walks of life can gather to reflect on the love of their dog(s)... living or departed. When I say there were THOUSANDS of post-it notes and pictures of dogs, I think I may be way off... maybe MILLIONS, plastered on all of the walls of the interior of the chapel. Truly amazing and inspiring. I felt bad because I didn't realize we could bring our own photos to affix, but maybe if we ever return, I certainly will bring some. I did, however, write a message to our dearly departed doggies in a big notebook. I couldn't help it, but I cried buckets while there. It's okay cuz I wasn't alone, to be sure. It is DEEPLY moving, and while it was very sad for us, it is also very uplifting, too, because it's a place to honor your loving dog(s). I heartily encourage you to visit whether you live locally in St. Johnsbury, in the State of Vermont, on the east coast, or from wherever you reside, if you are a dog lover, you need to go !! Such an amazing place, and one we will NEVER FORGET.

Beautiful views, and special place to celebrate the life of your pet. They have a collection box…read morewhere you can place your pets photo and a note. You can also put your commemoration and photos in one of several photo albums
