Bailey T was excellent, wonderful and the best part of our visit. The food was lukewarm to cool, the apples and cinnamon rolls were hot. I am very disappointed in the restaurant. This isn't the first Cracker Barrel that this has happened. Fought so hard not to change and quality hasn't been the same. I do love Cracker Barrel and it variety of meals mostly the chicken and dumplings. But hesitant about stopping not sure what I will get hot or cold. I wanna begin by saying it is rare that I give anyone lower than four stars. We were on a road trip and decided to stop at Cracker Barrel. We were seated after about 10 to 15 minutes which was fine. Our waitress was friendly. We ordered our food and it took at least 30 minutes for it to arrive. When it did arrive we were missing one of the five meals-and 3 of the four that did arrive were missing pieces. My meal was present, but was missing the toast. A fellow diner was given the wrong type of eggs. Another friend was missing the meat in her meal, and her pancakes were plain instead of being blueberry. The waitress swore it wasn't her fault and we believed her. It was just unfortunate because our wait time was extensive, and the food mistakes were extensive. It's exactly what you expect at Cracker Barrel. This one happens to be on our route between Brunswick and Atlanta, so we've been here several times. What they do, they do very well. I've never had fried catfish better than Cracker Barrel does it, and I love their biscuits and fried apples. I do wish they had better vegetable choices, but since I always get the apples and the sweet potato, I'm set. Their pancakes are excellent. I wish they still had 100% maple syrup, but the 50% maple syrup is worlds above the glop served at most breakfast places, and the butter and half-and-half are real. I really like their bacon, as well. We've never had a y complaints about the service at this location. read more

I don't know what has happened to Cracker Barrel stores over the years, but it seems they have all declined when it comes to quality. Maybe it was Brad's wife holding them together all those years; they should have never fired her on Brad's birthday. Anyway we stopped at this Cracker Barrel where we were seated right away, but took forever for a server to come over and greet us. She wasn't too friendly, but that's ok I just wanted to eat and leave. Well we ordered coffee and some food that took like an hour to cook the biscuits & gravy and salad we ordered. Our coffee was refilled once and we never got another refill. The biscuits and gravy were far from "southern" as you could get. The salad was ok. BEWARE - do not place to go order at this location!!! This is the 3rd time I've had an issue. Today I placed an online to go order(chef salad)to be picked up at the counter. I arrived a few minutes after my order confirmation time and order was not ready. I waited a few more minutes and inquired again about my order and was told it was not quite ready to be bagged for delivery. After another 15 minutes, another employee(no name tag/no apron), possibly a manager, informed me the restaurant was out of salad mix and they could not provide my order. So, 50 minutes after placing my order I have no food and was offered no option other than a credit which I insisted be processed in the restaurant so I could have a paper receipt. It seems reasonable that someone from the restaurant could have called, texted or emailed me to alert me of the issue with my prepaid online order! read more

On family road trips we stop and have a meal at Cracker Barrel, you know the food is good, there's a place to stretch legs and clean bathrooms!! This CB was our half way point on the way to Savannah (and on the way back home). We dined here twice in one week due to travel. Our first meal here was great. Our server, Tempest, was kind, quick, and attentive. Our food was great. Everyone we encounter was awesome. Our 2nd stop.... I dunno what happened... we stopped for lunch on a Tuesday and our waitress had some attitude with us when we were ordering... ex: she advised they were out of specific salad dressings (3 or 4 to be exact) and when we asked, what dressings were available (bc we had no idea what was offered to start) we were given attitude. When I asked what the soup was; I was advised with attitude "if we have soup... it will be this..." it felt like she caught herself and her attitude change when she brought our lunch, maybe she was having a rough day? My brother introduced me to the goodness of Cracker Barrel in the last few months. The Brunswick, Georgia location is STELLAR. Great food. Great staff. Clean restaurant. Because of them - I actually tried the Thornton Rd and Delk Rd locations once I made it back to Cobb. They are impressive as well. So I'm not sure what the deal is with this location. I've stopped by twice now when I'm on my way to south GA and though the staff is friendly - the food is pretty awful. It's as though they aren't even using the same supplier as the other locations. The pancakes are dry and rubbery. The burgers taste 'off.' And the chicken was somehow both greasy AND dry. I hate to have to award them two stars - but I really have experienced better. read more

The food quality at this Cracker Barrel was the worst we have ever received at Cracker Barrel. All of the food was lukewarm, at best. The dumplings were 90% broth. The chicken tenders were slightly undercooked and not the least bit crispy. The Sunday Homestyle Chicken was also not crispy in the least. The staff was friendly and the gift shop pleasant. Chicken N Dumplins $9.99: My first time at a Cracker Barrel and my first time having chicken n dumplins! It's very reasonably priced considering it comes with biscuits or corn muffin and your choice of 3 sides! We chose all carb-y ones so sharing this between 2 people was filling enough. The chicken n dumplins were ok. It was kind of lukewarm by the time it came out, and I think it would've tasted a bit better if it was more hot. For sides, we got mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and hashbrown casserole. The gravy for the potatoes was forgotten, but we asked and got it on the side no problem. Ironically, the mashed potatoes itself ended up being very forgettable, along with the macaroni and cheese. The hashbrown casserole was really good, and I wouldn't mind having that again. I regret not getting it loaded. We were given corn muffins and biscuits for the table. I was surprised that I enjoyed the biscuits more because I usually don't care for them. They ended up being the best biscuits I had on this trip. Praline Pecan Bread Pudding $3.99: I actually appreciated this was a smaller size than the humongous desserts I feel you typically see in chain restaurants. It was pretty tasty! The waitress are nice. Everything is clean. Ordered country fried chicken dinner and when it came out it was almost black. Waitress stated she ask if cook burnt chicken or if they didn't change grease. Waitress was told it was a new coating they were trying. The chicken was almost uneatable. It had so much grease soaked in it that it soaked a napkin. I had to leave the chicken on plate because it literally made me sick. I know it wasn't our waitress' fault. She was extremely apologetic to me. The kitchen didn't want to own up to their mistake. I had this very same meal a week ago and it wasn't like this. Our last visit with Cracker Barrel is why I am writing them a review. Our server was impeccable and my ruben sandwich was equally amazing. I had no idea they even served a ruben; goes to show you how many times I just overlook the lunch and dinner menu. My hubby got the chicken fried chicken with mac and cheese and green beans. I could seriously load up on the mac and cheese alone and take a box to go. He did something creative with the biscuits too. He made a sandwich with a portion of his chicken fried chicken, so it was like having breakfast and dinner all in one plate! Our server was friendly, attentive without being overbearing, kept our drinks full and plates out of the way. The hostess came around and lit the lanterns, which added to our experience. We were going to ask for the manager to brag on everyone, but I decided this review would be a more permanent option to brag on them. The only thing I don't like is when you go to the counter to pay they ask you "would you like to add a tip? how much?" I like to take my time figuring it up and I also hate being put on the spot like that. And then informed that several of the sides I wanted wasn't even available! Wound up leaving still hungry as a result after I had to cut back on what I would've ordered. I stopped by here for breakfast on the way back to Atlanta from Savannah and did not have the best experience. I've been to Cracker Barrel restaurants before, but not very often and wanted to take a break from driving and get a decent breakfast. It turned out to be a little more of a break than I wanted. It took a full half hour from the time I reached the hostess station to the time I was served. This was just for a very basic breakfast with eggs, sausage, grits and biscuits. And the biscuits didn't even come with the breakfast but had to be delivered later. That was just the first problem. The second was that the breakfast was delivered lukewarm which didn't make it so appetizing. After the amount of time I waited, I wasn't about to send it back and wait even longer. The wait time and the cold food indicated they have a server problem, with either too few servers or servers who are not diligent enough in picking up and delivering meals. I don't think there was an excuse with a packed place--although there was a good number of patrons, there was also some empty tables. If the food came out hot, it would have been actually a fairly decent breakfast. I liked the quality. If the sausage patties. The biscuits were also very soft and flaky and quite good. They at least were a little warmer than the rest of the breakfast. I mentioned to the server that the food was cold. The manager later came out to talk to me and comped me the breakfast. He showed a genuine concern for the patrons. Only because of that an I giving my rating three stars rather than two. I hope they can work out their service problems. When you're on the road, you just don't want to wait a half hour for an egg breakfast and then get it cold. read more

In March 11, 2024 my husband, my son and I went to crackle barrel in Dublin ga and we were disappointed. First off they were out of several food items, which was no big deal to us, and we were sat and waited at our table for 12 minutes with no greeting from a server although three were working our section. Bring that I also work in the rest industry 12 minutes with no table greeting is very unacceptable. As we sat there waiting for someone to approach the table a couple was sat in our section and was immediately greeted by a server and their drinks brought to their table. My family and I got up and left the restaurant but not before asking to speak with a manager and I explained my grievance to him and all he said was that he was sorry. Sorry is all he said not can I make it right or try to get my family and I to stay just a plain Sorry. That's the last time my family and I will be visiting this establishment. read more

After many years of going to Cracker Barrel, not just this location, we will never return. We planned the day before, as a family, to meet here. We showed up at 940 with a party of 11 and was told 20 minutes wait time. 50 minutes later we were still not seated. Several times the hostess told us that they cannot seat us until one lady customer decides to leave her table, and it appears "shes just camped out" . That table, per the hostess, is the only space available for us to sit together. I counted at least 50 people seated during our time waiting. I also saw at least three empty tables next to each other that could have been put together to accommodate us. There were also several individual empty tables. Basically, it was obvious that the staff was making little to absolutely no effort to seat us. It is also very obvious that this stores management is sad and incompetent at best. On a positive note, several family members did have plenty of time to buy several nice small items (on sale at a good price) to give as Christmas presents. So bottom line is, I recommend this location as a great place for family shopping, just don't even bother to dine as a family. read more

We stopped in for breakfast on Friday 5/25 about 10am. We were seated right away. A server took our drink order but never returned. About 10 minutes later another server "Annie" took our breakfast order. We only ordered pancakes & bacon. Annie returned with my iced tea. We never saw her again. After 15-20 minutes went by, we decided to leave. On the way out we asked to speak with a manager to let them know that we had waited about 25-30 minutes & only received an iced tea. The manager said "I'm sure sorry" and that was it. We tried it again this morning about 645am. We were told in the parking lot that their power was off & that they couldn't serve any customers until the maintenance techs arrived to solve the problem. Cracker barrel usually has good food & good service at most locations. This location has a management problem & Corporate needs to look into it. read more

Traveling through and no time to sit down and eat supper so I went inside to use restroom and order a carry out meal for my family. After waiting 10 min, I was told there was an hour or more wait for carry out food! I asked what abt if I was seated and ordered. Was told wait was shorter for that. But I don't have time to sit and eat. I really wanted and needed a carry out meal. But at 630pm on Sunday evening, you can't get a carry out meal in Dublin GA at the great Cracker Barrel.
