All I have to say is wow! I believe it is a corporate restaurant but this place was amazing. From getting seated having my server order my food to them delivering they have a store so much but so amazing! Super friendly like they make you feel super important! My food when the guy brought it out made me feel like I made a great choice. The food was your average steak and egg meat but the flavor of the steak and I could basically cut it with my fork and the biscuit and there side dishes are basic but the way they cook them is on another level. The place was packed the whole time! The price I paid for the amount of food couldn't beat it with a stick! lol you have to go and try it! Was so bummed I never made it back for dinner. The place was decorated like back in the day memorabilia clean open and inviting! Definitely go!

I love stopping at Cracker Barrel while on a road trip. This day I stopped and had a nice quick lunch. My server was nice and despite forgetting to bring me drinks until my food was at the table, he was very friendly and apologized. I had the chicken fried chicken my favorite cheat meal. As I was leaving the old time store which I typically love had a really strong urin Oder I used the restroom on the way out and was overwhelmed with the stench. It didn't seem extra dirty but I really think they should invest in deodorizers

We stopped in for Cobbler, but ended up getting brunch. We had their granny Smith mimosa, granny Smith ice tea, fried catfish, and chicken fried steak with greens n a salad. Make sure you try the tea it was refreshing. Catfish was hot, flakey, and yummy. So we're the greens. The mimosa was great (eat a little first). Fries steak left something to be desired, but the staff was attentive, friendly, and willing to make amends Oh, then the apple cobbler.... just scrummy! Nice fall treat, hit the spot. Way to go, C B Family oriented feel and the staff kept it moving with smiles.

So happy this breakfast classic is back on the new menu.

New menu landed yesterday 8/18/2025. So happy they brought back my go to breakfast meal day or night Uncle Herschel's - eggs, biscuits, cat fish, apples, grits!!! Miss Vicki took great care of Me and kept my coffee hot and topped off.

I really liked that they have this big drop down screen that converts the bar area into a sort of covered patio area that lets the breeze in while the fans do their thing. It turns this sports vibe type place into a more at home type backyard bbq with friends type feel. I really liked that. It felt like a tgifridays at first but the patio-ish area makes it stand out from other chains like that. Maybe it was the fact that I had been traveling all day and had barely eaten, or that I had a killer blood-sugar dropping headache, but I thought the food was killer. I ordered the steak and dozen fried shrimp combo which came with 20 shrimp. Awesome! I ordered the broccoli and mashed potatoes with gravy and everything was awesome. I loved the butter on the steak, made everything just taste rich and delicious because you had better believe I do not cook with that much butter at my house. But for a special treat while traveling, it was delicious. The shrimp were perfectly fried and some of them were rubbing up against the butter so thy were delicious too. I ate them first so they didn't have time to get soggy. The mashed potatoes were red potatoes with just the perfect amount of skin still on and chunks still in it and I loved the gravy. And the broccoli was also delicious, also cooked with butter and not just boring and bland. Definitely not the healthiest of meals considering, but not the worst option either. Definitely couldn't eat here all the time without my waist complaining, but I was very happy and so was my belly and head. The service was pretty nice too, the people were all lovely. I will definitely be back when I have been really good and deserve a cheat day, there is a ton more stuff on the menu I want to try.

We were on their bottom floor patio (which was lovely) but I did spy that they have a rooftop patio as well (what's not to love?!?). Everything from the food to the cocktails to the service was exemplary. For my cocktail I got their Old Colonel's Smoking Gun which was their twist on an old fashioned and was delightful. For my entree, I got their salmon entree. It's glazed and comes with a size of their crispy brussels and cheesy grits. The brussels were delish and their cheesy grits rank among some of the best I've had with sharp cheddar giving them the perfect flavor kick. The atmosphere was so pleasant. It's definitely the sort of spot you'll feel tempted to linger. Get to it!

I was sadly mistaken, and the problems stem from how the chain is setup, and not from a single location having issues. The burgers are alright, but too expensive for how much you get. The fries are alright as well, but all of it seems to be your typical corporate food distribution to the masses, and the food just isn't that good. Two stars for this one as well... not because the folks working there are bad, or even because the place itself is bad place to eat... they are not. Appetizer s and entrees delivered almost together. One pasta dish barely had any sauce on it. The waitress was asked for butter for the mashed potatoes and sauce for the pasta. Now mind you the salads we ordered NEVER did arrive. The new waitress delivered the extra sauce but no butter. After a period of time I had to walk up to the kitchen to get the butter. The waitress intercepted me asking what I needed . I replied , "the butter we asked for the now cold mashed potatoes. She proceeded to microwave the butter and deliver it. Clearly I don't now work in the restaurant business, but an ice cream scooper of hot mashed potatoes with the butter would've been appreciated. When we asked for the bills the waitress had no idea who for the most part had what. We had to go over with her and itemize each item. She proceeded to show us how to pay on a tabletop thing. She got exasperated when we asked for paper bills to go over the items. We've eaten at Cheddars all over the midwest and the food is always delicious and the servers great. This place really sucked.
