    Breakfast counter. Clean place.

Very clean place. Small, almost quaint. Wifey and I stopped here on the way to the cruise. Lots more reviews in the future! Anyway, looking forward to a little breakfast place and this fit the bill. Reading some reviews, we weren't positive, but thought we'd give it a shot. The person seating us (Derwan) was very nice, funny and knowledgeable about the menu. Wifey ordered the Carne Asada burrito while I went for the Southern Bowl. The southern bowl is very grits heavy. However, our server informed me of this before I ordered, so it was exactly what I wanted/expected. Food delivery was the right amount of time (not so fast that it had to be pre-made and not too long). Food was average. The over medium eggs were what they were. The home fries and grits were just ok. The sausage was just ok. I thought the coffee was ok, but wifey said the coffee was really good. She actually drank it and had refills. I, being the Lord of the Dark Roast, would have liked it to pack more of a punch from the dark side. Wifey thought the potatoes were ok, but a little overcooked. The burrito was quite big so she had to take half home (for me) :) And it was pretty tasty! Overall, what we needed. Decent. Adequate. The service was good, funny, and almost great. The food was good, not great. The place was VERY clean and looked good. I'd come back in a similar situation, but not go out of my way to find it.

Found this place by a recommendation in Yelp. This is a local diner with good breakfast. I love local places and found a few during our stay in Ocala. The food items were great. But the coffee not my favorite. But the experience was a good one.

Very reasonable prices and standard delicious breakfast food. It's nice to see a place like this has opened up in the Ocala area! If you are looking for a fancy place to eat with novel breakfast dishes this is not the right place for you, but if you want to go to a place that makes familiar breakfast dishes, had a casual atmosphere and is family friendly then this is the perfect fit! I ordered their eggs Benedict with a side of fruit. They eggs Benedict tasted great and met my expectations based on other eggs Benedict I've tried all over the nation. Their fruit was fresh and they gave me a nice variety which included melon, blueberries, strawberries and grapes. My dad and his wife tried their pancakes and sausage gravy and biscuits. This also tasted great and for the price were of good quality and cooked well. Definitely check them out!!

If you are hungry and don't mind a slight wait on Sunday mornings, Eggs Up Grill is a great place. Our server, Derwin, did a great job. Great food, clean place and efficient service. The food was very tasty, came out hot and had a good flavor. The hash was yummy and the bacon was perfectly crisp, just the way it was ordered. The food was excellent - the only irritant was the table of "Karen's" sitting next to us solving the world's problems while stuffing their faces.

We have come to this restaurant several times. This was not up to their standards. Service: We weren't greeted with a smile when we walked in. My husband asked for butter and never got it. How do you eat toast and half waffle (waffle photo is missing) without butter? He managed because it never came. You can see in the photo the avocado was bad. They did bring me additional order and made it right. The fact that it came out of this kitchen this was for $3.50 (side) is terrible!

My husband and I spontaneously went on a breakfast date here one morning and I'm so glad we did! The smell as soon as you walk in is enough to get your mouth watering and the decor is fresh and very aesthetically pleasing. Our waitress was very attentive and service was super quick. I ordered the brunch burger (SOOOO GOOD). The brioche bun had a hint of maple syrup on it which was the perfect contrast to the savory steak and runny egg. The carmelized onions and crispy bacon were also the perfect crunchy touch! My husband got the loaded home fry bowl (home fries, onion, peppers, shredded cheese, sausage and scrambled eggs) and he enjoyed that for sure. Can't wait to come back and try the pancakes next time!

Scrambled eggs with turkey sausage turkey sausage was overdone well past well the rest was very good

I have to give this place three stars because of the server was less than personable appeared to be in a hurry as well as the restaurant it was understaffed when I attempted to change my order within 10 seconds of giving it to the server he said it was too late he had already put it in the computer. That the hash dish was very good with the exception of the hash being a little well done the turkey sausage was very well done on the egg and turkey dish. I always hesitate to give a bad review or a margin review because I know these are difficult times but attitude is one thing that can be adjusted I understand the difficulty with hiring staff. I was really hoping this was going to be my go-to place since it's close to my house. My experience may have been a one-off just no way to tell.

I had a feeling that delivery via Grub Hub did this place no justice... and I was right! (Mostly) There were things I wanted to try but didn't want to order delivery due to sometimes it's just not as good. Also there have been several mess ups via delivery. So my hopes of this being great we're up there when we remove the delivery aspect. I had the crab cakes stacked on toasted garlic bread with poached eggs, Hollandaise sauce, and a dash of Old Bay seasoning. They were good. Only thing was the crab cakes were tiny and cold. The also lacked the correct texture of a crab cake. I grew up in Maryland where crab cakes are pretty much everything. They had no form, it was just a small ball of crab mush.... Had they been seared and more of a cake or croquette texture they would have been perfect. I was not able to get this fixed... which I will explain. But they were good! My son had a four-egg omelet loaded with bacon, andouille sausage, mushrooms, home fries, pepper jack cheese, pickled jalapenos and green chiles. Topped with sausage gravy and hatch chiles. Lemme tells you that omelette had a kick! Even for him who practically drinks hot sauce. His omelette was warm not hot.. but being a 15 year old boy he didn't care. I didn't care for was our waiter Darwin. He was not attentive at all, didn't check in, refill drinks, we had to ask for utensils, which he told us we needed to ask the hostess cause that was her job. Was very quick to rush us out. He would keep blowing us off, and spent more time ignoring us than he did any other table he had. (Which wasn't more than maybe 1 cause the place was pretty empty) For that alone thou my son said this is his new fave place we likely won't return. We took Suntran to get there. A 90 minute bus ride to be treated like an inconvenience. No matter how good the food No thanks!

I really liked that they have this big drop down screen that converts the bar area into a sort of covered patio area that lets the breeze in while the fans do their thing. It turns this sports vibe type place into a more at home type backyard bbq with friends type feel. I really liked that. It felt like a tgifridays at first but the patio-ish area makes it stand out from other chains like that. Maybe it was the fact that I had been traveling all day and had barely eaten, or that I had a killer blood-sugar dropping headache, but I thought the food was killer. I ordered the steak and dozen fried shrimp combo which came with 20 shrimp. Awesome! I ordered the broccoli and mashed potatoes with gravy and everything was awesome. I loved the butter on the steak, made everything just taste rich and delicious because you had better believe I do not cook with that much butter at my house. But for a special treat while traveling, it was delicious. The shrimp were perfectly fried and some of them were rubbing up against the butter so thy were delicious too. I ate them first so they didn't have time to get soggy. The mashed potatoes were red potatoes with just the perfect amount of skin still on and chunks still in it and I loved the gravy. And the broccoli was also delicious, also cooked with butter and not just boring and bland. Definitely not the healthiest of meals considering, but not the worst option either. Definitely couldn't eat here all the time without my waist complaining, but I was very happy and so was my belly and head. The service was pretty nice too, the people were all lovely. I will definitely be back when I have been really good and deserve a cheat day, there is a ton more stuff on the menu I want to try.

One of the highlights is the excellent view of the runway, where you can watch small airplanes take off and land while enjoying your meal. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was good overall. We both ordered rice bowls with stir-fried vegetables and our choice of protein--one with chicken and the other with shrimp. The flavors were enjoyable; however, both bowls seemed noticeably watery. We're not sure if the extra liquid came from the vegetables or the rice preparation, but it was enough to be noticeable and took away from the overall enjoyment of the dish. Menu prices appear to range from around $10 into the $40s, offering options for a variety of budgets. One disappointment was that Elevation 89 is listed online, including on web searches and Yelp, as offering a Sunday Brunch. We specifically chose this location because we meet once a month to try a new brunch spot. Unfortunately, upon arrival we learned there is no Sunday Brunch currently being offered. We were disappointed by the inaccurate information and hope the online listings are updated so future guests can plan accordingly. Despite that issue, we enjoyed the clean environment, good service, and especially the unique runway views and watching the small aircraft come and go.
