If I could give this guy a zero I would. THEY ARE A SCAM. He quotes me a 4hr job to repair two holes in my wall so fine. He sends over a repair man who told me like 5 times he was sick so he will be a little slow. After 2hrs of him going to get supplies he let's me know that he didn't know the holes were big he was told they were small so the job was going to be alittle longer...then maybe 6hrs. So I call the owner to talk to him about the misquote and instead he tells me he's stressed and doesnt need to deal with this and cancels the job. THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE. I guess that's what I get for not hiring someone licensed and bonded. Lesson learned. read more

I needed to have 2 wall plates installed so that I could run an HDMI cable behind my wall. Something simple that didn't require a full AV specialist but difficult enough since I don't have the tools/expertise to cut through drywall and run cables behind it. Gino did a great job of explaining exactly what he was going to do and mapping out a game plan with me. He was polite and courteous and even made sure to give me a heads up before he began drilling and cleaned up all debris. The job was completed in a shorter time frame than was estimated. The service was professional and the workmanship was well-executed. The pricing was exact to the time spent in total of all my little projects. I felt safe being home alone with him and found the chit chat to be pleasant and appropriate. He came with his own varied and ample tools as well as those provided by the companies I'd purchased items from and cleaned up after completing each job. With another monsoon season underway, I needed to have my garage roof cleaned off as leaves and twigs were clogging up the scuppers. I contacted Gino; he responded quickly with a reasonable quote for the job, and we set an appointment for my day off. He filled more than one bag with debris (or mulch, as he suggested I use it) and hosed down the roof. Water poured out of those scuppers and I have peace of mind again. CrackerJacks was really responsive in setting up a time to come out to our house. After seeing all the great reviews, I was really excited to get someone in to take care of our list of handyman items, and Gino was great to work with via email. Based on the reviews all concerning Gino, I expected him to be the one at my door. The other man who showed up was kind and respectful, but at the end of the day we were very disappointed. We needed all three of our children's sliding closets tuned up. He replaced the railing, but the new floor guides that we paid for him to get at Home Depot were not screwed firmly into the ground and 3 out of 4 of them were already broken when he left our house. We got new carpet, so he had to shave the doors down, and one he shaved too short and it no longer stays within the bottom guide. A week after he was at our house, we already have one closet door off the tracks. We had him install a new fancy bathroom fan, and he put it in but didn't wire in the light or speaker for it. He did go back and do that, but - since we were paying an hourly rate - that was more money for him to take the time to unscrew it and put it back again. He put up a mirror in my daughter's room, and that looks great! We paid $700 for him to be at our house for the day doing this list of things, and having those closet doors in worse shape than before he came is really just sad for us. I emailed Gino after he left, but somehow our email string via Yelp had been stopped. I will be calling Gino to see if he will make this right and will update my Yelp review. UPDATE: After posting this, Luis contacted me before I had a chance to get in touch with Gino. He set up a time to get out to my house right away, and scheduled plenty of time to get the job right. He fixed the bottom guide for the closets, and had me take a look at it. One closet was still rubbing and another one was not secure, so he worked on it a little longer and now they are all running beautifully! I really should have checked out Luis's work before he left, and I'm sure he would have made it right before he left. These guys really do want you to be happy and take pride in their work! Gino was awesome! Super polite and professional! I had a plumber come out an hour before telling me the faucet couldn't be replaced with out replacing valves and pipes first and was so condescending and rude about it and not respectful of my time. Then Gino came out and it was no problem, he made it work, even when the faucet didn't wanna come out he still made it work and got the job done. Don't hire this guy to do baseboards. He was at my house for 5 hours doing an amount of work I could have done in 2 hours with a hand saw. He would cut one board, go outside, cut it again... Repeat.... He cut the boards around. My fireplace incorrectly. Huge gaps between the board and the wall. I asked him to fix it. He didn't bring the correct equipment for the job... Couldn't nail the baseboards to the wall even. Claims he offered to come back and attach them, that's news to me. Waste of money. Now I have to pay someone to come fix all the boards that he didn't attach to the the wall properly and finish the job that would have taken him weeks to actually finish at the rate he was moving. He discovered that I had two different size boards and when he informed me, I ran and grabbed a hammer and chisel to remove them immediately. Definitely didn't take 30 mins...and there was a bunch of work still to be done at the other end of the room. No need to wait for me. Lesson learned. When a handyman charges by the hour... Run. BTW, my dogs were upstairs for 4 hours. I let them downstairs to go outside. Claims my dogs ripped the boards off the wall. Did my dogs cut them incorrectly as well?? read more
