They had availability for the very next day. I was informed ahead of time that the cost of service would be $120 and that my timeframe (window for service) would be from 12 to 2 PM. My technician, Gavin, was right on time for the work. He diligently performed all of the necessary maintenance, informed me that my machine (and its related parts) was very clean, and was done with all of the work within an hour. Normally, I would shop summer specials, but because I really wanted it serviced to ensure its health during these brutally hot months, I accepted the rate they charged. I was given the option to sign up for twice a year or more regular service, but I declined for the time being. I can't comment on their repairing services, but for regular maintenance, I would definitely recommend this family owned business!

Obviously, eventually an old system reaches the point where replacement makes sense, but I appreciate a company that will tell me the truth and help me get the most reasonable life out of the equipment first. I frequently request Pablo, who has been with Kelly's for many years. He's extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and has always taken the time to explain what's going on and what my options are. It's also nice seeing the same experienced technician year after year instead of never knowing who is going to show up. Nick is awesome to deal with as well, and my most recent experience really drove that home. At around 5:00 PM, tenants at one of my properties contacted me to say their AC wasn't cooling. This is Florida, so a house without AC can become miserable pretty quickly. I called Kelly's expecting that, at best, I might be able to get them squeezed onto the schedule sometime the next day. Nick surprised me by saying he could have someone at the property in about an hour. That kind of service is hard to find. My tenants were extremely grateful that they weren't going to have to endure a sweltering night without AC, and as a landlord, being able to make one phone call and know the problem is going to be handled is worth a tremendous amount. After years of dealing with Kelly's, I can confidently say they've consistently been honest, fair, knowledgeable, and responsive. They don't try to turn every service call into a sales opportunity, and they genuinely seem interested in finding the best solution for the customer. If you're looking for an AC company you can build a long-term relationship with rather than one that's just looking for the next sale, I highly recommend Kelly's Air Conditioning.
