I contacted Dymond Heating & Cooling to schedule regular maintenance for my home's conditioner after my contact with a different company did not deliver. They had availability for the very next day. I was informed ahead of time that the cost of service would be $120 and that my timeframe (window for service) would be from 12 to 2 PM. My technician, Gavin, was right on time for the work. He diligently performed all of the necessary maintenance, informed me that my machine (and its related parts) was very clean, and was done with all of the work within an hour. Normally, I would shop summer specials, but because I really wanted it serviced to ensure its health during these brutally hot months, I accepted the rate they charged. I was given the option to sign up for twice a year or more regular service, but I declined for the time being. I can't comment on their repairing services, but for regular maintenance, I would definitely recommend this family owned business! read more

Omg!!!! Mike came back today to install the new compressor and he was SO amazing he deserves 12 stars -- and Elvia gets the same for sending him!!! He was so careful and explained things so well to this confused brain. And my system now doesn't make hugely loud, startling sounds that made us jump out of our skin, the cat too. It now is quiet like I thought it should have been from the initial install almost a year ago. The last guy who was here wanted to charge me a lot of money to get it to be quiet and calm like it is now, thanks to Mike with Dymond. Shall I call him Dymond Mike? And their new trucks are so beautiful! Sparkle on, Dymond Addendum: after spending the evening, night and morning with the new compressor operating the heat, all I can say is this is a WHOLE new system and it:s amazing now!!!! Let me start with Tyson was professional and knew his stuff. TYSON is too good to work for this place. MAYBE every A/C repair company charges ($397) for a $19 part, 15 mins work, and a service call. THAT IS EXACTLY what Dymond did to me. For all the senior citizens who can't live without air conditioning DON'T be fooled. My unit's original capacitor lasted 8 year... the one they replaced that with last just 14 months... of course the warranty is only for 1 year. SO, over a $19 part, they have lost a customer and now everyone will know the scam. I was told by multiple people it should have been $490 to $560... but I was going to catch a break... This industry needs regulations placed on them. People need A/C and ripping them with over a $400 profit margin is ridiculous. I honestly don't know how they sleep at night... I will never call them again. I ordered a capacitor on Amazon for less than $20 and replacing it is simple...My advise... CALL A DIFFERENT COMPANY... unless they are all operating this way... very sad what society has come to. THEN there is the up sale... need a surge protector - I shut that down quickly... WE have a whole home surge protection package from the energy company. BUT OF COURSE, that one isn't sufficient. I know it is hot, and we will pay to make the A/C work. Had a scheduled service between 1-2 pm. Received a text from technician Adam that he was on his way. I texted him and said I'll be there in 15 minutes. This was just to replace a thermostat. Needless to say after I arrived no one came for 3 1/2 hours and the excuse was he came by and no one was at the place. Why not call her text? However after waiting all that time he then calls and quotes a price of 500 dollars for a thermostat and installation. Never shows up. Still waiting. The office staff was very apologetic and we used Dymond when they first opened and they were great. Never again. In the meantime I called ARC in land o lakes. He's doing it for 200. So stay away. I have purchased two systems from Dymond and have been pleased with their work. Recently, we were having a graduation party and on the morning of the event I had an issue with one of the units. They worked with me and sent someone out first thing to correct the problem. I have always found them to be responsive. I have priced services and they are comparable, and their service is first class. This is the reason I always go back to them. This is the second time I write a review for this company. I called for a service due a leak in the ceiling in the laundry room. Their technician, Ricky, came on Friday. He was courteous & professional. After he listened to my issues/problems, he climbed up the attic in the garage, he discovered there was no insulation up there. This is why the room adjacent to the garage is so hot & my electric bill was skyrocket last month. So he recommended me to contact Duke Energy to do a house energy efficient checkup which I will follow up with Duke next week. The leak ceiling was due to the condensation of hot & cold air which is collected in the vent. So he recommended to have the vent clean. On Saturday, I have the vent company came out & cleaned the vent, I can tell my house & the hot room previously is now much cooler. Even though, there was nothing wrong with my ac, Ricky did recommended me to someone who can fix the problems. He was honest & did not charge me anything this time. I really like to work with an honest company. I actually have an appointment with them again next week for a thorough ac yearly check up & clean on my 2 ac units.
