Later, after watching a YouTube video saying a flashing red light could indicate a problem, I contacted Paula to ask if this was something to be concerned about. I explained that the unit was working and that I only wanted to know whether the light indicated a problem. I also told her that if it was something minor, I could handle it myself and didn't want Bob to come out if it meant paying a service fee. Paula told me there would be no charge since Bob had been here within the past year. Based on that, she said Bob would come take a look. When Bob arrived, I mentioned that Paula had advised me. His response was, "What does Paula know?" He checked the code and said everything was normal. Later, Paula called and charged me a $79 service fee. I paid the fee, but I am very unhappy with the inconsistency in communication and the unexpected charge.
