I came in to do a quick return and was a bit stressed from the chaos across the street at Wal-Mart where I was just shopping. When I entered the store, it was SO peaceful, he was SO friendly and it calmed my nerves because I was on the verge of a panic attack. I know it doesn't sound like much but in these days of uncertainty, conflict and stress, the little that staff, customers, patrons and member of the civilized public do goes a long way. Thank you!!!

Mary was very helpful and friendly and showed me around the store since I had told her it was my first time at Carter's. Honestly, I was a bit overwhelmed with all the baby items in the store. She showed me the staple items must haves, newborns, sale section (my fav), which had additional 50% off the red sticker price. I was definitely in heaven. Also got additional $10 off the entire purchase. What a steal!! I will definitely be back again. The prices were amazing and the outfits were super cute.

One person walks around like a ghost and when she asks you something you don't even know she was talking to you, she doesn't look at you or actually speak with you. When I asked where the bow ties were, another lady just said "he put them somewhere", and proceeded to look away without a word. When paying, they don't even as much as make eye contact, forget a smile! Lady didn't say a word the whole time while ringing in my items, then stuck the receipt in the bag and handed it to me while talking to someone else. I totally get that owning/working in a high-end kids clothing store is a gold mine as parents like myself will endure the poor service in exchange for stylish clothing for our kids' special occasion. So they don't really have to try, I guess? However, imagine what a lovely review this could have been if I had experienced great customer service. The staff were amazing and I loved the experience. They were all helping me pick the perfect gift for the perfect girl. They had marvellous Faux Fur Shawls for a winter wedding. They had lots of colours (Grey, White and some others) and the price was just right. I purchased two for $67.21. The owners were very nice as well. Since I needed two shawls of the same colour, the owners let me purchase one of each colour that I was debating between. I then took them to the dress store to see which colour looked better with the dresses. They let me come back the next day to exchange the colour I didn't need for the other colour so I would have two of the same. The owners were so sweet and went above and beyond. I highly recommend this store. I also received tons of complements on the faux fur shawls. No one could believe that they were about $35.00 each. I highly recommend this store. They also sell tons of cute hats for both summer and winter. It's definitely worth a visit :)
