Got it after a few tries

Such a fun group event, or date night, or solo adventure to release frustration! $20 and a waiver signed gets you 1 hour unlimited access to a wall of wooden planks with a bullseye and 2 sharp axes. The workers were so helpful is explaining how to throw well, safety rules, and how to fix your form if you ask for assistance. The place is a warehouse feel with chain link fences to keep the axes in the lane and light wood built walls. There's a bar in the back with drinks and some cool raw live edge wood tables to relax at. Located in the cool Hampton Station shopping and dining area next to white duck taco, birds fly south brewery, and due south coffee. Pick up a beer or coffee and taco to enjoy, they'll gladly return the plates and cups for you! I asked one of the workers replacing boards how often they have to do it, he said every 4 hours! That blew my mind!

Welcome to a new way of stress relief and competition! This is located at the Hampton station area of Greenville near Birds fly South and White duck taco. You can either walk in and sign up or you can make reservations online! Cost is $20/person/hour. Sign the waiver ...and then wait to be escorted to your alley! You can have drinks or food at your alley. The staff is great! They answer and help out with any and all questions! They will demonstrate throwing techniques and certainly emphasize safety!. Samples of games" styles "to play are at every alley. And yes they have a small bar with beer and non-alcoholic drinks. You can also BRING either drinks or food from any of the other establishments into the venue. They also have a few TV's for your game scores! And yes -- even the kids can come !!!! It is lots of fun! Check it out for a different activity!

I've been axe throwing once, but in Columbia, so this was my first time at the one in Greenville. It was my birthday and I was able to throw for free! I hit the bullseye on my first throw, must've been birthday luck. But we went around 4p, so it was very empty. This was good for the whole social distancing rules that are currently in place. They do have some domestic beers but their craft beers are pretty good too. I had one that closely resembled a cider but it wasn't well known to me. Fun experience, crazy to throw with masks on but it's the new normal! Check it out!

Like we used to say in the Navy (F Yeah!) What a great idea, on so many levels I could see where this could go awry but really, Beer and Axe throwing! What a brilliant Idea. Go in and use a lane by the half and full hour (Prices in Pics) and have fun. What a cool get together thing to do. Although I did not get the chance this trip the young man at the cash register (working a double because someone called out on a pretty day) after a little prodding was a great guy to talk to and seriously it is work but it is open to the outdoors and it was a great day. So If you go let me know what you thought and like everything do it wisely and watch those around you. Have fun, I think you Axe-tually love this.

After 20 minutes I finally stuck it in the board #proud

Had a great time! Lanes could use a bit more space. The staff were nice and helped with our questions and gave us tips. Took awhile to get the hang of it

They're not taking any precautions for COVID-19. Not even staff were wearing masks or sanitizing anything.

Brad was really cool. We paid up and he showed us how to throw (neither of us had done it before). He quickly went over the rules which are simple and common sense such as "don't throw axes at other people", gave us a demonstration and then watched us throw a few before walking away encouraging us to have a good time. The boards are marked so that you can record scores and a sheet posted of some games you can play to make it interesting. We played a couple games but honestly had the most fun just throwing and trying to get it as close to the bullseye as possible. This was great way to spend an hour and would definitely recommend if you're visiting here. Feel free to bring a 4 pack over from the nearby brewery across the way.

They allow you to bring in food and beverage and will put your beer on ice for you. This is probably a highly profitable business because there is such low overhead. The bays are on a reserved basis with a convenient online reservation system. The target is approximately 12 feet from the toe line and you throw, essentially a hatchet, overhanded towards the target. After a few practice runs, you can then play competitive games (ala darts) and even in teams. There is a waiver involved and a short educational "how-to" for technique and then you are on your own. Safety rules, only one "ax" out at a time. I took my 80 year old mother-in-law, my wife and three college aged sons and we had a blast. The restaurant across the courtyard will deliver and the brewery next to the restaurant will sell beer you can bring over if you wish. We went on a Saturday afternoon and had a fun time. I say this is profitable because it is a few 2X6 boards nailed alongside one another for the target to be painted on and the axes are re-usable like a putter at a miniature golf course. After the short safety and training speech, it is all self service.
