This place was such a scam! We got there and spent $75 on a game card. After 3 games didn't work (VR headset completely broken strap and wouldn't stay on my head + my partners headset was torn to shreds...hungry hippo game had ZERO marbles) and gave us back $55 that we didn't use (lost the money that we spent on their broken games) and then did go karting. My partner is the same weight as me and at full speed he was way ahead of me. I literally didn't even have a chance to catch up bc he was flying and my go kart was barely hanging on. Games here are fun, beer is decently priced. Never tried any food. 75$ card will last you about 45 min to an hour with two people (you use it for everything) the bad is the go karts. It's a lottery with if you'll get a fast or slow one . The batting cages are really sub par. You have to basically stand 5 feet in front of the plate to hit the ball, otherwise it'll bounce on the ground before you can even swing. The worst part is, not every thing is open after about 9pm. I've been here four times over the summer and have not seen any of the carnival style rides open, the drift carts open, or the go karts specifically for kids. After 9 pm everything was shut down except the batting cages and the arcade. Overall it ain't worth going to. Go to top golf or main even down the road. It way better and way more consistent.and honestly just about the same price. Frankie's gets a two star Ps. Staff was not friendly or helpful. I am only giving this 3 stars because my son enjoyed himself. Honestly the experience was below average. The staff is terrible. In the arcade we asked to have someone come to a machine because my son swiped his card for $2 and it didn't work. The guy came over and didn't say a word. For 15 mins (not an exaggeration) he fiddled with keys trying to open the machine and when he was done I told my son try it before he leaves and the guy looked at me and walked off. Ridiculous! Then at the prize counter we waited forever to have someone help us and he was rude too. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting! It looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. The go cart was fun however we waited outside for a long time for our turn and they have no awnings or umbrellas up to shade the area. Frankie's Fun Park has lots of activities for kids of all ages. See elderly inside playing games too. You are never too old to find something to do here. No need to bring coins nor change and feed a machine. Area where you purchase a card filled with dollar amount you pay. Let the fun times roll. One can really spend half a day here. Play games, hop on the go kart, mini golf, etc... and then have lunch. Noticed a Johnny Rocket. Three of us went for the miniature golf. We paid for that in another area which was not included in the card purchase. Had no idea there were 3 different courses. We went to the one on the right. Once you finished the 18 hole the ball goes to the abyss. Bring back your club and put it back where you originally took it from. Had a good time. Like a mini hidden oasis for there were waterfalls, make you feel like you at a golf course. Staff were young and did not provide much direction. But here's the cliff note version: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS PLACE, THE STAFF HERE (MOSTLY HIGH SCHOOL KIDS & MANAGER THAT COULD BE LABELED AS NOT QUOTE QUALIFIED FOR MANAGEMENT) ARE HORRIBLE, WHICH MAKES YOUR EXPERIENCE EVEN MORE HORRIBLE!! 1. When we first arrived we went to the "Attractions" desk as we had already looked online and picked which things we wanted to do. By "paying" for the attractions, it gives the impression that you're doing exactly that...however, what actually happens is they put the cost of the attractions on your cars. So for instance, if bumper boats is $7 and you purchase 4, $28 will be put on your card, BUT...you could actually use that money anywhere (i.e., the arcade) because as you visit attractions, your card is swiped and the money is deducted from your card, just as it would be if using it at the arcade. 2. We played miniature golf first. There are THREE different courses with varying levels of difficulty and length. However, as first timers we did not know this & literally just did the first course we came upon, which was course 1 (the longest and easiest). It wasn't until we were done I realized there were other options. When I went inside to ask the girl who rand is up, why we weren't informed about the course, she responded, "I worked here for a whole year before I knew there were three different courses." Huh?? I asked to speak to the manager, who of course said that isn't how things were supposed to go and told us we could play again (We didn't play again because...our visit kept getting worse & we were ready to get the hell out of there!) 3. Next we did the Go Karts, which...for the most part was fun, but there's a few things to note: 1. You have to be 16 in order to drive a two seater, but you only have to meet a height requirement to drive a single seater. That meant that my 15 year old who has a permit, couldn't drive a two seater with me as a passenger, but could drive a single seater by herself. Also, my 13 year old wanted to drive, but didn't want to drive by herself, but...wasn't old enough to drive a two seater go cart, but could have driven alone. Make it make sense! Also....THE BRAKES DON'T WORK ON THESE GO CARTS! There's a break pedal, but it's just for show lol 4. Bumper Boats were next: while doing go karts we saw that no one was at the bumper boats. Once we finished go karts, there were people on the bumper boats, so we got in line, only to be told "it was closing" after the [YT] people were finished. When I asked why, I was told "that's what the manager told us to do." So I go inside to the desk and request a refund. Of course I'm told they don't give refunds and that instead I would have to spend the money on the card elsewhere, at the arcade for instance. That made no sense. They were refusing to let us do bumper boats AND give a refund? I think not. I asked to speak to the manager AGAIN. He then tells the people to open it back up, "just for us." We were all extremely annoyed by then. DONT DO THE BUMPER BOATS!! They move at a speed of NEGATIVE 25 miles an hour! 5. Lastly, we did the VR ride game thing. This was actually fun! However, as with everything else, you're not given any info about anything! I didn't know it was a scoring game. We had to request for someone to even come over to the station so we could play, and they were annoyed they had to do it! Overall, I'd give this place a -25! It's horrible, but the staff....geesh! This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever received! I don't know how these young people are going to make it in the real world. They are the LEAST helpful and knowledgeable people & they have no interest in helping customers at all! They literally are all standing around doing absolutely nothing! FUN, FUN, FUN!!! They have tons of activities and things to do to keep the kids and adults engaged. I took my niece and nephews for a Saturday adventure and we did the go-carts a couple of times, the bumper boats, laser tag, the VR experience and then the game room. All the experiences were between $7-$8 each. I thought was a little strange that they were all the same cost. I spent a good chunk of change but walked away with a whole bunch of memories of a really good time. I only have one complaint, and that would be that 'Johnny Rockets' is no longer in the establishment. Had I known this prior to going, we would have dined elsewhere. Not family friendly. The music being played while we were playing putt putt with our 8 year old was "she was sucking it without her hands". We asked them to change the music and their first excuse was "but it doesn't have cuss words in it". Which is false because the next song had the F word in it. This use to be one of my hang out spots when I was in my late teens/early 20's and they have done a lot with Frankie's. Not only do they have arcade games, but a few virtual reality stations, funhouse, batting cages, putt putt golf, bumper boats, scary ride and 3 go kart tracks. They also have a Johnnie Rockets Restaurant and I heard they know how to throw a fun birthday party. Then workers were really nice and helpful. We will definitely be back. read more

Great for kids! One of the nicer mini golf places I have seen, well-maintained, and very nice mini golf course. There are three different 118 hole putt putt golf courses you can do. They also have fast go carts, and a pretty decent batting cage. The batting cage is a great value. Only two dollars for 16 rounds. Despite the goofy name, this place is a lot of fun. My first instinct is to compare it to D&B, but it's more like a mini-amusement park. I'm not a game/arcade person, but there is something here for everyone. I was happy to see people of all ages here, and it didn't feel like it was overrun by kids. I came with a group of PhD friends (and their kids/nieces/nephews) and you'd be surprised how quickly these brainiacs morphed into big ass kids! We did laser-tag first (again, not my thing, but I had a blast!!) then we played a couple rounds of air hockey (my fave!) a few other games and then we hit the go-karts. All in all, we were there for a few hours and we still didn't get through half of the activities they had to offer. I think there was mini golf, batting cages, a "drop tower" ride and a few other things. For all that we did manage to do, we really didn't spend a lot either. After all that running around, you're going to be hungry. There's also a snack bar on site, which sells burgers and fries, pizza, soda, ice cream... stuff like that. As someone who considers herself too old for arcades and such, I must admit that I haven't had that much fun in a while. I don't think I'll ever be in Greenville again but if I am, I might have to bring the boyfriend in for a little visit. read more

I must say that one employee did above and beyond expectations. Her name was Casey. My twins was trying to play the Jurassic park game but the machine didnt work and just ate our money... so I looked at the employees at the counter and raised my hand and trying to tell them that the machine was having a problem one guy looked at me and continue working at the counter, another lady in ponytail turned her back on me and the last lady w nice curly hair trying to ignore me but I shouted "excuse me" then she had no choice but to make a phone call and told me "one minute".. but one employee named Casey walked by and asked as if we needed help...she took action and called the right personnel right away and stayed with us until the problem was fixed. She even refunded our money cuz the machine was having a problem... she apologized and was really nice the whole time. She didnt make us feel that we were bothering her... she smiled and help us and that really made our day.. a simple act of kindness. Hope there r more employee like her who will go out of way to help than ignore the customers. We plan to go back again not just bcuz we had fun also bcuz one employee that show kindness and care about their customers. :) read more

I've been here twice and really wanted to give it a second chance, but I will not be giving it a third. Most things are outdated and under cared for and over priced. DO NOT order food at Jonny Rockets. The staff literally sits around the tables and doesn't speak to you when you get your food or do anything for that matter. My friend got his sandwich 20 minutes before the rest of the table. My BLT took 30 something minutes. I didn't even eat it because the bread was stale and the tomatoes were disgusting. Purchased a card to play games only to find out after purchasing that the majority of the games were out of service. We could only find two games she wanted to play not out of service. Tried to find a manager and only got a blank face from the person behind the counter that looked like she was about to take a nap. One employee saw me walking to her and just walked away. Overpriced activities, overcrowded with no control, disgusting bathrooms, and an extremely loud setting all make this the perfect setting for your kids who will INSIST you take them there. Do NOT expect to leave there for less than $50. The rides are quick and expensive, the games net very little return when trying to earn a prize in their shop. As a parent, it's just a lose/lose scenario. But as a kid, IT'S AWESOME. Oh, and you better be prepared to stand around the whole time, as they do NOT have any place for people to sit. I guess they think all the parents are going to be playing the games too because they don't want you to be sitting around dwelling on how much money your rugrats are spending. $50 on games will only last a kid about one hour and the prize for all the tokens they earn will only be worth about a dollar. After many years going to Frankie's it had gone downhill. Very expensive and they don't have any games for younger kids. They used to have a carousel and games for younger kids. Most like the other entertainment establishments that I have written reviews for, I did not experience the other entertainment amenities that the Frankie's Fun Park offered: I only played their miniature golf. There was a wide array of different "attractions", including a large arcade, laser tag, a couple of dark rides, a burger restaurant, go-karts, and probably a lot of other activities that I am missing. I am willing to also bet that this place is typically crowded with children and families, but I visited the Frankie's on a Thursday afternoon, so the establishment was quite empty. But now let's get to the most important aspect of the establishment: the miniature golf. We only had time to play one course (Course #1), but the Frankie's also sported two other courses. The quality of the balls and putters were substantial, with no real sign of excessive use. There was no practice green present, so consequently, I unfortunately did not get acclimated to the speeds of the greens until the third hole or so. But by far, my biggest compliment of their courses was their immaculate quality of the greens and landscaping and the uniformity associated with the sizes and depths of the cups of the holes. There really was not a discernible theme to their courses, but they were all accompanied by some incredibly landscaped bushes and shrubbery, and some artfully placed rivers and fountains through the course. The only aspect of the course that barely contributed to the theming was some miniature buildings that would represent a "downtown" area of a rather small town by some of the holes, but that was really the only scenery that was present. The greens were all very well kept and seemed very new (I do not really know how long the Frankie's have been in business for, or how long their miniature golf course has been operational), as well as the cups of the holes. Every single hole at the course was a metal cup that had substantial depth, that seemed regulation golf sized cups. The Frankie's course had little to no "bells and whistles", but was still relatively challenging that kept us all very interested in the game. The course mostly considered of relatively difficult hole placements, with some pretty tricky angles, changing elevation in the greens, and some dynamic breaks in the green. A majority of the holes were placed at a considerable angle (some of the holes were only accessible from one side), which again made the course pretty challenging. I did sincerely appreciate that the best skilled miniature golfer succeeded at this course, as none of the holes were based on randomness and luck (as other miniature golf establishments have holes on crazy contraptions that are dependent on how lucky of a bounce one would get when your ball rolls out), but pure skill. The only minor critiques of the Frankie's is that the holes towards the end of the round got somewhat repetitive, that relied on the same features of difficulty: the angled hole placements. Another small critique is that all of the holes' (for all the courses) par was two (in my opinion, it was pretty low for a couple of holes), but it seems like not that much time and effort was allocated to properly determine the par for every hole. So overall, I highly recommend any avid miniature golf enthusiast to frequent the Frankie's Fun Park miniature golf courses, as it really did capture the original roots of miniature golf in a very competitive way, without the gimmicks and the "bells and whistles". Obviously I cannot rave about the Frankie's other amenities (or the other miniature golf courses), but that one miniature golf course was truly exceptional. No doubt about it, these courses were the best maintained outdoor miniature golf course that I've visited, and again would highly recommend visiting. read more

Overall, an ok experience. No supervision at the batting cages which can be a dangerous activity. The experience was not that great at this specific activity either. The balls didn't even cross the line for you to be able to hit them. Otherwise, the go carts were fun. The other games are abundant but felt overpriced. I have been able to spend the same amount of money at D&B but play more games there. The staff doesn't really provide guidance and help so most of the activities feel like self service. read more

I came here to play mini golf with my boyfriend a few weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon. I was pleased to find it was a fun experience for us, and not completely geared towards the kiddos. They have 3 courses to choose from, and we played the second. It was surprisingly challenging, but we had a good time playing and checking out the landscaping. At only $8 a person, it's a fun thing to do while soaking up some sun. They also have an arcade, laser tag, and go carting available. read more

If you think this place is only for kids think again. Both adults and kids can enjoy this place equally. They have various activities such as arcades, lazer tags, go-kart and many more. We went on a Sunday when hubby wanted to do some batting practice. The cages were empty, while he was batting, I tried my hand with softball. The experience was very nice. You get 16 balls for $2 which I felt was of great value. We are yet to try other fun filled activities. Can't wait to go there. read more

Spent about $10 in the arcade and my kids played 3 games each. Went on the go carts and for $7 3 times around the track is just not enough. The food is wayyyy over priced. The maze was fun but for all the kids in there the supervision needs to be a little better. Its a huge maze and kids can get hurt. I waited a few days to review as our very FIRST visit wasn't pleasant at all. Not the deter your interest but customer service wasn't a priority of the employee here. I will no use names but the Johnny Rocket food area needs work! There was no one in line as we stood there over 5 minutes waiting for someone to attend to the counter. Upon arrival there were 5 people waiting to be helped. Standing at the counter and first in line; others were directed in front of us and their order taken. Now I am not one of few words to so requested to Supervisor. Now I must give kudos to an employee that stepped up after observing this action and she was wonderful! A little pricey and items are ordered individually. No combos here. The arcade area was a teenage hangout with police officers everywhere. This caused some concerned considering I was there with a 6 year old. Due to the weather we weren't able to enjoy the outdoor amusement area so we focused on the video games. This place is a hangout for teenagers needing an outlet which is fine but not suitable for younger children. And the number of police officials implies that they've had some issues in the past. There was a police vehicle at the entrance yet it didn't dawn on me until observing the congested arcade area. All in all my son enjoyed his time here. But I think we will go back to Dave & Busters. Games are a little pricey and limited food options. The perk here is the putt putt, go carting, and amusement rides if weather permitting. read more

Had 15+ employees show up, and they decided last minute they wouldn't allow us to participate in any of the go karts, putt putt or batting cages because of the weather. Hadn't rained in hours and they had people at each attraction, it was basically because the attractions were supposed to close within two hours.
