In the past, I have ordered their pimento cheeseburger. I've also tried several chicken dishes, but every once in a while I want a hamburger. Over the couple of years we've been going to Parkside Grill, I've ordered the pimento cheeseburger three times, including today. Only one of those times did I not send it back. I prefer my red meat cooked completely well done no red at all. Not medium well, but fully well done. This is an almost $18 dish. The second time I ordered it, I sent it back and requested a new burger because I do not like knowing that the same burger was simply sent back to be cooked longer with all the pimento cheese and toppings already on it. Today, I reluctantly ordered it again because I was really craving a burger. I made it very clear to our waiter, Michael, that the cooks could "hockey puck" it as long as there was absolutely no red. Unfortunately, once again it came out medium well. My husband and I informed the waiter, and he offered to send it back to be fixed. He also apologized. He also said it it busy and there have been a few things that have gone wrong already. However, the last time that happened, my husband had already finished his meal by the time my food returned. At that point, I asked for a box so I could take it home and cook it myself. I ended up only eating the fries and bacon. That was my $18 meal. I boxed up the burger, left it on the table untouched, and thought to myself that I will not be returning again.

It's definitely a nice getaway in Knoxville for those that like to game in a lively environment and enjoy time with friends and family. And on top of that, it's also great that this and the other parts of the same chain (Bit Burger, Space Bar) are near each other in the same area as well. Makes for a lot of great food service for what you can order (that will be similar at the other spots). The staff has always been (10+ visits) nice and responsive to any requests. The drinks are fun but I like to personally stick to some snacking. I have found the buffalo wraps and mini hot dogs to be the ticket. The pinball machines have a lot of variety and art to admire in them. There are also other board and video game options for those that don't like pinball. I know you'll see us there - so definitely say hi! SYOY!

The corn dogs were fine but likely frozen. The salsa with the chips felt canned. I didn't try the other food but did order a burger from next door Bit Burger with an extra service charge. I ordered the Mega Man, a burger with cheddar, caramelized onions and white BBQ sauce. I didn't taste much of the white sauce and thought the side potato salad was okay, but I did like that they make them smash burgers. As a boba fan I also ordered one of the poppin sodas so that was fun. Overall Token Tavern is a fun place to go with a group of geeks like myself!

When our pizza arrived, it was very thin crust, and there were very few toppings and for a buffalo pizza, we couldn't find the buffalo sauce. Definitely not worth the price of the Pizza. There was a gentleman playing music outside that was quite good. In short, beer and service great. Food and pricing for food well below expectations. We would go back for drinks and live music.

I counted 23 taps of beer at the bar, virtually every style is covered, an impressive number and the three we tried were excellent. I had the West Coast IPA and my wife had the Oktoberfest and the Black Rice Lager. The service was excellent. Instead of going for the pizza, which they have a lot of, we went with the Pretzel and beer cheese which my wife liked better than I did. The real star was the Muffuletta sandwich which hands down was the best version of this sandwich I've ever had. The Olive spread had diced jalapeño in it so pretty spicy and oh so good. So between the many taps and that sandwich, CBB West gets a five star.

Let me remind you that not so long ago in the 2000s, Geoff John's Green Lantern was one of the top selling books published by DC! This shows the sheer tragedy of the Ryan Reynolds GL movie. If that movie would have been better, this place would have at least one GL reference. Just imagine a Blackest Night or Brightest Day themed cocktail. Never forgot what they took from us. That being said, this place was delightful and you should absolutely go.

Neon lighting is everywhere, and the EXCELLENT service are all trained to verbally communicate as if you're in a space lounge. You're greeted at the front door with a funny line like, "Hello Captain, are you ready to greet your crew?" Then smoke surrounds you as the room "air locks", then a host brings you into the bar. The immersion is so fun! Most surprising were the menus, which you open and they glow in illuminated light... very futuristic. The drinks we ordered were absinthe specials, which were served in creative and smoky ways. Note: these were strong drinks :P I saw food at other tables and the pizza looked great. All in all, this bar is so immersive and I can't wait to return!
