Craft Serving's online certification process was modern, and dare I say fun? It was a tedious process as various other certification course tend to be, but the message I received from the course was that they genuinely want to spread the information on drinking safeties.The course was mostly memorization and common sense-skills, not difficult. As a sober individual myself, I know all too well the dangers of Alcoholism and Alcohol Use Disorder. Those two diseases are always in cahoots together, so this course is more important than ever in my opinion. Alcohol is the number one drug all around the world. I honestly feel every teenager should take this course before turning 21. In conclusion, I highly recommend going through them in your quest for a Class 12 / 13 - permit certification. While taking the training course, I really appreciated the option of re-taking the quiz at the end of each topic covered! This course makes sure that the person taking it, has EVERY available chance to be able to successfully acquire your OLCC permit on the first try! Also, during the course, one of the educational videos was "not supported" by my browser, so I called the phone number provided, I immediately was connected to someone who was able to resolve the issue without me having to start over by logging out, then back in, etc... You can also DOWNLOAD any reference materials such as workbooks, charts, State ID info, and any other material that is covered in order to help the server successfully perform the legal requirements of the State in which they are working in! read more

Reasonable price and the class was certainly thorough but overcomplicating the topics. Many questions nebulous and easily misconstrued, although I stumbled my way to a more than passing score. In a time when restaurants need staffing lets not go out of our way to put roadblocks to servers. Yes serious topics but make the questions and answers more straightforward after having to spend 6-8 hours on the topics that should have taken half to two thirds the amount of time. This was a thorough and well organized course. It primarily used text learning, as well as a few videos and interactive activities. By the time I finished, I felt prepared and educated. With this said, the course is a little bit text heavy. I personally would have enjoyed more videos, as reading all of that text got slightly repetitive. The site also malfunctioned on me for ~15 minutes (it stopped saving my progress, and then I was unable to login). Despite these issues, it was a good course overall, and one that I recommend taking. read more

This class took about 2.5 to 3 hours to complete. It was a nice mix of videos, slides, and short quizes to make sure that you understand the material before moving on. Pedagogically, it is very well done. I especially liked the video where professional bartenders had to guess the ages of potential customers (in order to show how difficult it is to accurately guess a person's age). The course did take me over three hours to complete, but I'm also a very thorough person! So I give it five stars for how well they prepared me to pass on the first attempt. I also appreciated the emphasis on the moral imperative to look out for people--those drinking and those on the road whose lives could be forever impacted if we overserve alcohol. I was genuinely impressed with how they made every topic easy to remember by using realistic work scenarios with relatable incidents. I love the charts to help determine things like BAC and the lists with tips and techniques to help with intervention of a VIP. This isn't my first time taking an OLCC course, but it is the first one that I can say I understood 100%, this will be the only one I recommend from here on out. read more

This course was quick, concise, and offered a wealth of information. The interaction portions and the recap quiz at the end of each section was fun and helpful, I would recommend this class to anyone! I appreciated that the class was a modern updated version of what it could have been. Even though I was very tired and at times would fall asleep, this training was comprehensive and detailed enough that I was able to pass all my lesson quizzes and very likely the ABC exam. Varied training methods, such as video and lesson activities will help you retain information during each lesson (even on 3 hrs sleep!). Super thorough, very informative, and accommodated multiple learning styles. However, it did take what felt like forever to complete! But it's necessary for my job and just great knowledge in general. Lastly, I think I have cringed at every educational video I have ever seen but not these videos! The MAST training was informative and easy to understand. I specifically enjoyed the video case studies and the quizzes after each section. The quizzes were especially helpful with my retention, and the videos broke up the monotony of just reading. I will remember Craft Serving when I need to renew in 5 years. read more

Great test ! It was very informative. They allowed you to take quizzes at then end of each section and review your answer as well as retake them. My biggest issue was with taking this course on your phone, it's harder to read certain part without turning your phone to the side and then back. read more
