I purchased six masks (3 for $10) plus $10 shipping ($30 plus tax). The masks are the cheapest thinnest pieces of ripable knit I have ever seen. I can see right through them. I would never wear one to protect against Coronavirus. I would never recommend them to anyone. read more

Would give five stars if they opened up all the cashier stands when lines are long (if you have antsy kids, you would understand). Went to this craft warehouse store today. It was such a bad experience for me and my kids. My children noticed that the employees not 1 but 5 of them were watching us and following us and pretending they were cleaning or arranging the shelves. There were other people, but we were the only ones they kept following. I don't know it's because if we were brown skinned and were the only ones that were colored there but we felt harassed the whole time we were in there. All I wanted to do was to buy yarn for my kids because they wanted to learn how to crochet. read more

This store has the most Unfriendly, Unhelpful Employees EVER!! I came in once and was treated so rudely I just left. Went back about 2 years later thinking maybe I would give them another chance--silly me!! They are still the RUDEST, most sulky, sullen, belligerent, an Unhelpful people EVER!! But, they are very CONSISTENT-- consistently and thoroughly rude and awful--plus-- ALL of the Employees are rude, nasty, and unhelpful and apparently ascribe to the same philosophy and seem determined to be rude, nasty, vile, useless, and determined to abuse and alienate anyone who might be crazy enough to walk in the door. Oh, yeah-- and their stuff is incredibly over-priced( eg. string of 100 clear mini-lights is $12.99!! On SALE!!) The store is usually pretty much empty and between the prices and the garbage Customer Service-- CW seems determined to keep it that way!! read more

Very disappointed in return policy, receipt indicates otherwise. Bought a bottle glass cutter and couldn't get it to work properly I returned it and was getting the run around and note I bought it the same day I returned it, it's not like I had it for a week and with a receipt too!! Anyway after three people looking at it and waiting around an assistant manager came by and then she had to go talk to another manager which never came out and acknowledged me and I ended up getting store credit, which I should have gotten the return back on my original tender it was a same day return, I then asked for a district manager phone number apparently they don't have one and just have me the corporate number with no name, how frustrating might as well just give me a call center phone number that goes nowhere. I adore everything about this store- I drive all the way out from Portland for their craft supplies. Today, however, I was treated like a thief by two of the management staff. I am 8 months pregnant and have to watch my blood sugar levels. I grabbed a bag of candy when I walked in so I could have a little something as I shopped. I absentmindedly set the bag down and forgot about it to grab something off a shelf-- blame it on baby brain- until two staff members brought the bag to me as I was checking out, shaking their heads at me like I was a criminal. When I apologized and thanked them for bringing the bag back to me, one of the staff gave me a story about a no-grazing law (which totally could be real-- but seriously?) and walked away like they had caught a murderer. I know it's such a small thing- but it could have been handled way better. I was happy to pay for the candy- of course- but also left with a terrible taste in my mouth. Too bad about their customer service because the store really does have a great selection. Guess I'll be shopping on Amazon from now on. read more

I'm disappointed in every time I go in. The first time I was purchasing items for my daughter Halloween costume and the lady I asked for help seemed so upset and overly bothered that a costumer wanted help. The second time I had to return less than $8 of product and I requested cash back since I paid half in cash and half on my card. Both ladies working also seemed unknowledgeable about the answer and too lazy or bothered to find the correct answer. Why would I want to run my cars for a return for less than $8?!? The frame shop is so helpful, I wanted something framed for a family member, but didn't want spend too much, Marti was so helpful, her knowledge and professionalism made this experience so great. She gave me excellent customer service. I came back a few hours later to pick up my picture, its perfect. She made is so easy to get what I wanted in my price range. as an avid craft store shopper for my needs, this store is lacking. it is messy, un organized. It is overwhelming with stuff everywhere and not in any particular display frame or sections it is just stuff everywhere. The lighting is good. the bead section is awful. I mean the store from a critical standpoint needs a huge overhaul. I feel like I went to a store and someone threw boxes of items to sell on the ground and want me to dig through it. This location 15 years ago was much better as in organization and stock. read more

My daughter has fallen in love with sewing, especially making shopping bags and stuffed toys for her friend's child. We have tried going to Joann's, unfortunately; Joann's staff is rude and their fabric "cheap". When you ask a staff member a question, you get a response, but it always seems rude. Craft Warehouse is a breath of fresh air. The fabric staff are always there to answer our questions, offer suggestions and yes, laugh with us. I don't know about the staff in the rest of the store, but I give their fabric department a big "thumbs up". read more

I love this store. The people that work there are kind and patient, and helpful beyond words. I have no trouble with returns and exchanges ( remember receipts) Their prices compare well, especially the fabric. I enjoy this store so much I have almost taken up residence! There are some issues making returns from the Oregon Stores, but this is a computer issue, and the girls at the registers handled it very efficiently. I LOVE how they have crafty ideas displayed around the whole store, but they don't seem well organized, and they really should pay more mind to who they hire. They SOMETIMES have coupons and SOMETIMES don't. I have never been able to use a coupon, and I haven't been able to find one, but I know they have coupons, I tried to return an item without a receipt and they would only refund me for 60% of the value which is understandable but not when it's for a huge amount of items worth only .50 cents and I end up OWING them money for a return. But one time I made a transaction there, the lady did NOT know how to count. I bought 3 candle holders, she charged me for 4. I bought a large amount of little bottle of paint, and she under counted (obviously I'm not upset about this, haha) but she is losing this small business money. Their prices are a bit high just like the rest of the craft stores. This is really annoying because I go there often, so I can only purchase things that are on sale, or if I have a coupon. read more

I only give this store two stars because the selection of merchandise is better than Michael's Crafts. If it were based on the customer service I'd give them less than 1 star if I could. I think they hire people who have no personality and are lazy. Twice I've been to this store in the last 5 months and they are so unhelpful and put off the vibe that you're inconveniencing them. Today I actually went to the register to ask for help and a larger, older woman wouldn't even call for someone to help me find what I wanted to buy, she literally pointed to another woman who she could see was busy and told me to "ask her" - I'm thinking to myself - you don't have any customers waiting, why can't YOU show me? They were having what appeared to be some type of a crafting table/s event today which took staff to assist with each table they had set up. Hey Craft Warehouse - how bout you focus more on customer service and help people who actually came to your store to BUY something rather than coming to your store to decorate a T-Shirt or create a scrapbook - ORRRRRRR if you're going to do an event like that hire some additional staffing to help actual customers. There are plenty more stores out there that sell craft goods - I'll be patronizing those stores and maybe when your store goes out of business you might think to yourself "wow, maybe we should have helped those customers find what they were looking for to make that sale". And really, it's okay to smile at people and ask if you can help them find something. read more

I went into this store yesterday for the fun of it and to see if they had any July 4th decor and walked into to a great store with everything from diy craft ideas, plants, scrap booking items, and all kinds of stuff. I bought some cool looking vases and bamboo plants and some of those stone and marbles to put in the vases. This is a great store and I will be back. Some of the prices on some items I thought were way to expensive but for the most part everything I wanted and bought was priced very well! I was very happy with this store. read more

I USED to be a huge fan because of the selection of crafting suppplies, especially specialty paper, yarns, & jewelery making supplies. BUT they completely lost the recipe when it come to Customer Service and I no longer shop there. The staff is downright rude, and based on the lack of response from Management they don't care. The last 2 times I went were unforgivable. The 2nd to last time I shopped there I had filled up my cart with jewelry supplies, papers & items from the scrap booking section. I then walked across the isle & was getting some fabric dye off the display, when I was very rudely accosted from behind by the cashier from the front of the store who accused me of trying to steal the jewelry supplies that were in the trays in the cart!! I asked her how she had reached such a conclusion since I was still shopping and the items were very plainly visible, in trays, in the cart. She was raising her voice & saying the only reason I took my cart out of the jewelry section was beause I was planning on stealing the stuff & then told me it was store policy that I pay for it, before doing any other shopping. I was floored because I had been shopping there for years & years, and had never ever heard of such a thing. I told her that the reason I was in the fabric dye section was to get fabric dye while I waited for my husband who was shopping for painting supplies. She got even louder so I told her she could watch my cart while I went to fetch my hubby, she then said I had to pay her right then & refused to let me go get him so we could pay together. In the end I got angry & dumped out the contents of my purse & pockets on the counter to prove that I was in the right. I also let her restock the items in the cart even though I really wanted them. I was really upset because of the scene she made, and it is a long drive to get there since they closed the Hillsboro store, We had wasted the time picking out everything. Shame on her! Well I must be a really slow learned coz I went back! The very last time I was there I was shorted $20.00 dollars in my cash back. The cashier got really rude about me filling out the tax thing for Oregon residents, and let me know it was a big inconvenience to her . She had me so flustered that I didn't notice until we got to the car that she had only given me a receipt but no cash!! The cashier just told me "take it up with Management" so I called & emailed asking that when they did the cash out at the end of the night that they watch for the overage & let me know if they were $20.00 over. If it was an honest mistake the register would have been over. I got ZERO response. So who's the thief?? I am happy shopping elsewhere. read more

This is regarding the Salem Oregon store. Craft Warehouse is famous for advertising a low price and charging a higher price once a customer is in the store. Current example are ads for a fabric truckload sale at $4 per yard for retired prints - but after spending 1.5 hours picking out fabric for a quilt, the store manager insisted the correct price is $4.94 per yard. Also, watch your receipt- staff errors are very common and they are always in favor of the store. read more

i will not step into this store again. i asked a legitimate question in the beading dept. and the associate looked at me like i had losbters crawling out of my ears. i went to the register and the associate that helped me first greeted me with "you need to pay for your beads at the bead counter". then she went to the bead dept. to get sku for something i was purchasing and she had to discuss with the two associates standing at the bead dept. register what was going on. she then had of the associates read the sku to her. all of the associates i dealt with acted like they couldn't be bothered. apparently management needs to have a serious training session on "customer service". read more
