This store is like the Mecca of home stores. And I'm lovin' it! I was here today on Black Friday, of all days. It was crowded, yes, but I expected that. Despite the chaos of the parking lot outside, everyone in the store was cordial and well-behaved and everyone seemed happy to be there and were all in a holiday mood. And holiday and seasonal items were everywhere. This store has the largest selection of Christmas items and gift ideas (and even some Hanukkah ones, too!) of any home store I've been to in a long, long time. A small sampling of the items here: gourmet candies and chocolates (many already boxed and packaged and wrapped for gift-giving, and many from Belgium or elsewhere in Europe. Really pretty!), gourmet oils and vinegars and spices and pastas and sauces, lotions and potions and bath bombs and soaps, all sorts of beauty and skin care items, all sorts of bathroom and kitchen items and gadgets and linens and towels, decorative pillows and throws, gorgeous cutting boards and serving trays and bowls and plates, picture frames, wrapping papers and boxes and cards, toys and games, pet items of every sort, artificial trees and wreaths and figurines and stockings, more candles than you can imagine, and stationery and pretty home office supplies. And more, so much more. As much as I mentioned above, I know I am leaving out a lot. The line to check out was quite long, but it moved along a good clip, and there were lots of fun items lining the shelves to check out as we moved forward towards the cashiers. It was an efficient process, as every cashier counter was staffed today (being Black Friday and all), so no complaints here. All in all, my kid and I loved visiting this store and if I lived in Portland, this would definitely be one of my go-to places! read more

The manager was extremely rude and unhelpful. I had some items to return, hoping for store credit so I could purchase something that I would actually use. He then told me I was irresponsible for not coming back within the return window which apparently is only 30 days. Had I known this I would not have purchased these items. The customer service at this store is extremely horrible. I asked to see if an art piece was at their store and the associate informed me verbatim "i am not going to go look at pieces of art for you. There are too many pieces and i won't go do that. No." I was told I needed to come down to the store to look for myself even after i was informed by another homegoods associate that they would be willing to go ahead and do that. To top it all off, the lady asked me how much and that style number that she would go look for me, she then proceeded to hang up and when i call the number back, my calls no longer are able to go through. Mine you asked in a nice manner, never provided any time of attitude. I understand that it could be a tedious task to perform but if I'm willing to out of my way to drive 40+ minutes and spend over $100 on a pieces and go pick it up, i would assume someone would be willing to help. Freakin horrible. I don't recommend this store at all, the lady in the art department on 1/19 around 2pm who answered the phone. Your customer service is freaking horrible and you should maybe find a job that isn't in retail assisting people if that's not what you are willing to provide. And if it is, you need some serious help. I've be rating this no starts but since I can't post without having a damn star, there it is. read more

I came here with friends who wanted to stop in after dinner. HomeGoods offers a large-ish selection of kitchen and bath goods, as well as various food items and outdoor decor. The interior smacks of a chain charity bargain store, and prices seem to be on the high side of what one should reasonably expect to pay. I didn't find anything that seemed to call out to me as needing to take up residence in my home on my unplanned visit, but my friends found what they were looking for. Parking can be a hassle as this location is in Cascade Station, a notoriously busy (but very nice) shopping center in very close proximity to Portland International Airport. While there is a large lot, it is generally too small for the amount of patrons seemingly regardless of time of day visited. read more

To homegoods management: someone needs to coach one of your employees named Masey/Macy (she has grey hair, blue eyes, quite tan, caucasian, in her late 50s) on their behavior, not only to customers (me and my girlfriend), but also her colleagues. It was horrifying to witness. I shopped at homegoods at 4:30PM on Saturday, 1/11/25. First, my girlfriend picked out several rugs and with the assistance of Sam (friendly, attentive associate at HG) as she finally settled on one. He collected her name and told us he would be several minutes behind but would bring up her rug to check out as soon as he could. My girlfriend and I (and sister) were in line checking out (I must say, the line was large but your associates were speedy fast! It was great!) and we told the cashier we're waiting on a rug. The cashier asked for our name and went to find the associate who helped us so that she may complete our check out of purchasing the rug. After purchasing the rug, my girlfriend went to grab our truck while my sister and I waited inside. This is where associate Masie/Macy (I can't recall her name) came in. As my girlfriend was grabbing the truck, my sister saw associate Sam with our rug and told him "my friend should be here any minute with the truck." Masie stepped in near the exit and told my sister "have you paid for that rug?" And my sister said "oh yes, we have the receipt." I walk over and show Masey the receipt of the Area rug purchase. Masey then begins reprimanding associate Sam infront of us! Out of the blue! "How was this customer able to purchase this rug if you hadn't brought it to her?" That is unacceptable." And began barraging questions at him while he is actively lifting a heavy rug/helping other customers!Regardless if associate Sam did something wrong, there is a time and place to deliver feedback. A softer message would've been nice, too. Mind you, there was absolutely no issue here from my knowledge - I showed the proof of payment and it was clear our cart of items we also purchased matched the receipt. One of the last questions Masie asks the associate Sam was, whether he "recognize this customer?" (Me) right infront of me! Right after I just showed her the receipt! My sister was puzzled/upset (for Sam/Me) and walked outside waiting for our vehicle. We spent $600 at homegoods collectively, mind you. Associate Sam looked completely perplexed as I was. Also, note- more unprofessionalism from another associate next to Masie (brown dark hair, curly hair female, caucasian, looked late 30s) began saying "oooo somebodys in trouble". As if it was a humiliation ritual. Certainly loud enough for Sam to hear. I walked away as soon as I saw my gfs truck pull in. I told Sam that we were ready to go and thanked him for helping us with lifting the rug. It didn't end here... Masie took it a step further and began YELLING at Sam "pick up the rug. Go! She's here!" Go!" and then followed all of us (and my sis) outside. I told my girlfriend when she got out of the vehicle "hey babe, I think you may need to be the one to show proof of payment to one of the associates in here because they seem to be particular. There was an issue inside" Your employee (Masie), to me, says , "don't get smart with me" and approached my gf.. WHAT? You already just caused an uncomfortable scene in your store and now you're talking to me like that? This associate was out of line. She began asking us questions about who is sitting where inside the truck and telling us we "should" bring the rug back inside to wrap it since we were throwing it in the truck bed. She kept saying how worried she was about the rug. IT IS NOT YOURS! Leave us alone! Oh my gosh! It wasn't raining and we honestly just wanted to leave. She did assist us with some items that fell out of our vehicle (we had got done shopping at Ikea) which was kind, but her presence and comments were absolutely not welcomed or necessary. I really hope that associate Sam is OK. He was very young and the way this other associate treated him was really horrifying. I work in Human Resources and I would've disciplined this employee, Masie. Regardless if there was wrongdoing in a process (by associate X), you need to deliver feedback that is constructive (kindly certainly would help) and preferably not infront of other peers and customers. read more

Home goods is one of those places that you can discover a new self every time you go. A cutting board you didn't know you need? Here's 30 options. You didn't realize you need a mirror for decoration, well let them give you a 6 ft mirror for your bathroom. PRODUCTS This home goods store definitely is the most stocked store in the Portland area. Ranges from towels to rugs, each category would have at least 20 options for you to select from. I personally think having that much diversity of options is insane and gives me a lot of room to discover what I truly need and want and not just "let's settle for this since it's the best amongst others" SERVICE When we checked out around closing time, the cashiers and helpers around the store have been extremely helpful despite its few mins before closing. Beyond your typical banters, they are helpful and effective in their handling of merchandise. ALL IN ALL, this is a very solid HomeGoods store with a lot more options than others in the area. Chaotic! Super busy store, long, long lines. They've crammed in so much product, that it is difficult to maneuver around the store with a cart. I'm sure this is just a seasonal thing but it doesn't make for a pleasant shopping experience. In the future I'll avoid shopping here during the holidays. Friendly, engaging employees. read more

HomeGoods is the Goods! Can't drive by one without stopping in to see what's new as inventory is constantly added. So many on-trend items: - mid century modern furniture - faux succulents - fall pumpkins in shades of pink, light blue, white, silver. Remember when pumpkins were orange? LOL - beautiful wrapping papers and occasion cards - inexpensive statement art - modern outdoor furniture - mid century area rugs - acrylic chairs (got there too late; they were on hold for someone) - prelit white birch Christmas Trees, so beautiful! - huge selection of pillows in the "it" colors or seasonal images I've decorated my new condo with so many items from the HomeGoods in the Portland vicinity, they all have the same plus different stuff so you have to make the rounds! I definitely have an "eye" for design, as my friends say, and can breeze up and down the aisles and spot the unique pieces instantly. Most of the time, however, I spend a solid hour here taking my time, taking it all in! Would hate to miss something! Unfortunately my house is now completely furnished and decorated so something has to be absolutely spectacular in order for me to purchase. Reason being, I'd have to get rid of something i love in order to take in something new! Including holiday items. So now I go on hunts for my friends. And for their children who are decorating their first apartments or homes. I've become the personal shopper for everyone! This store gets more crowded than the others because of the location but I don't mind. If I want to shop with less people or when the store is better organized, I come when it opens or later at night. When there, don't forget to check out the food and pantry items. Uniquely shaped pastas in gorgeous colors and the best Italian condiments can be found here; typically challenging to find in Portland. Customer service has been great, they do their best to move customers through the long checkout line. If you are there during lunch, expect it to take longer than usual, it is what it is. To avoid the dreaded question the sales clerks are forced to ask - do you want to apply for their credit card or give a donation to a charity? - as soon as I reach the cash register I proactively say I'm not interested in their card and want to pay with mine. The Home Goods locations in Tualatin and Beaverton have a nice selection of Hanukkah stuff that has its own section. The Cascade station location has 2 menorahs that I found hidden within the baking section. When I inquired where the Hanukkah stuff was I was told they had too much Christmas stuff come in and they did not accept the 2 trucks that came in that had the Hanukkah stuff because they had no where to put it! Hiding Judaic stuff is disgusting and a disgrace. This was not an accident. This store is what is wrong with the world. I will take my business elsewhere! Shame on you! read more

This is another great outlet store. Just as it name says, there are many items here for the home but that's not all. In addition to the kitchen goods, furniture, decorative items, there are also supplies for dogs, bathroom, bedroom and even some office odds'n ends. One thing to be said about Home Goods is they carry good quality and name brand items. It's fun to wander the shelves and especially in the clearance section --- as if, prices aren't reduced enough from what the manufacturer suggests. This was a fun done hitting the outlets with my daughter and we found so many things at Home Goods we wanted to take with us. We'll be back! read more

Oh Home Goods. The store that caters to the nesting set. I could easily spend a thousand bucks here. Usually, I go in looking for a couple of items in particular. I might find them, I might not. That's how this store goes. Just like Ross, TJ Maxx, or Goodwill, you have to come here with an open mind and a little money to burn. What I always find are some gems I either forgot I needed, or never knew I needed/wanted until today. Most recently, I went in looking for a Parmesan cheese shaker like pizza places have--didn't find it. But, I did find: curtains, curtain rods, a shower caddy, some scent gel beads for my stinky diaper pail problem, two soft white cotton tote baskets (stained but I pre-treated and washed them; like new), two pillow shams, and a partridge in a pear tree. This Home Goods in particular is clean, well-stocked, and has enough employees to help customers. You know I'll be back. read more

They are not only rude, but they put items on hold for themselves that are popular when they "can't" put them on hold for customers. For employees, they get more than 1 day to purchase items they have on hold when its supposed to be 1 day, like for customers must be nice. I'm always happy at this store. From the minute I walk through the doors, I have a huge smile on my face! I love Homegoods, I can find any and everything I need for my home, plus more. I could get in mad trouble in this store ;-) One thing I do love is their selection on pillows. I'm looking to redo my living room decor when I move into my new house and I came in for some ideas and inspiration, I wanted everything! There was so much to choose from. Once I settle on a color scheme and design, there won't be a shortage of options for me to choose from. I love the fact that they have outdoor furniture too, if you catch it at the right time, once I get settled I will be able to pretty much fully furnish my place. The only thing I can honestly say that bugs me about this store is the fact that this company puts pressure on their sales people to have customers sign up with their credit cards. So annoying, it's like that when I go to TJ Maxx (which I know is the same company) and Marshall's which I think their also owned by the same company. It drives me bunkers with how pushy some of them can be. If I say NO I don't want your credit card, why don't you take the hint? No one wants to add more debt to what they already got going on. I'm sick of waiting in line! Every time I come here, there are long lines and one or two cashiers. Last week there were 15 people in line and three cashiers. Two cashiers finished up their last customer, then never called the next customer up. They were chit chatting while standing near the register. The one guy was folding blankets. I have been to Home Goods a few times over the pandemic. I enjoy the sincerity for store capacity and social distancing in line. The products are always cute and fun to look through. I have purchased some pillows and decorations for various seasons. They're typically good quality. I have never had a bad experience with an employee at any Home Goods ever. Yes prices are decent, but the store is a lawsuit waiting to happen - someone is going to get hurt. Crap is just thrown everywhere you can't get down an aisle with a cart, it's just a mess. Customer service is a joke - the lady I spoke to Would not turn around while she was speaking to me and then tells me to go find the redheaded girl in the area rugs section to help me. Too bad they don't work off commission because I could've had my Julia Roberts moment. I ended up spending a lot of money, but having to Track down store employees for assistance sort of ruined the experience oh and tripping on the junk thrown in the aisle - I really hope they don't have that on camera, not one of my more graceful moments however should not have been there in the first place. read more

While I used to love to buy things at HomeGoods in California, my experience in ***Hillsboro, OR *** store has not been satisfactorily. My purse was STOLEN in the store. The problem was poorly handled by HOMEGOODS even after I had the police there with me. They delayed releasing the information from the camera to the police officer, which made him very unhappy, and limited his action. Besides, it is extremely uncomfortable to shop in a store which is NOT a safe environment, and is not able to control the entrance and exit of people with bad intentions. While the products have reasonable quality and prices are good, be aware the way Homegoods respects and treats their customers when you need them the most. I have not been contacted by their company 's customer support:customer success team. Disturbing. I am sure I was not the one, and will be not the last. BE AWARE and avoid shopping there. Police is on it and will be able to catch the person sooner or later. read more

This is my favorite Home Goods store. Items changed out often. Occasionally can find a 'deal' but mostly a special something. Last few times we've gone, the same person at checkout has been talking to a customer for quite some time while other workers are serving people. She has the one customer and they serve 2-3 each. We are out the door and the first customer is still with her. Not sure is she understands there is a line up. Bit annoying. Obviously!! read more

This is a great store to buy stuff fore your home. It's kind of like Marshals or TJ Max if they just sold stuff for the home. They don't sell much furniture, but they do have lots of kitchen stuff, dishes, pillows, and sheets. I haven't bought any bit they have lots of décor things to. Mirrors, pictures and other odds and ends take up a good section of the store. The store isn't huge, but it is good size and always very full. read more

I'm holding my year and a half old girl walking through the kid isle. Out of no where this women this women approaches us asking "are you buying or are you playing"? I was so confused as we weren't really touching any toys, and definitely not acting at all roughly. I literally have her in my arms and I am just walking down the isle. I asked the lady what the problem was and she said "sometimes kids broke stuff?" It ws the most out of the blue rude thing that has been said by as employee of a store. I love HomeGoods! It is like a Ross or TJMaxx but only for the home. They have incredible prices on home products, dishes, kitchen ware, bath items, artwork and so much more! I like to have nice things in my home, but I really don't like to pay ridiculous prices for them. HomeGoods is the solution! Depending on when you go it can be crazy. Shopping at HomeGoods on the weekends during the holidays is a zoo. During the week or outside of the holidays it is busy, but not crazy bad. Sometimes the store is filled with treasures and my cart overfloweth, and others there isn't anything to catch my eye. That is part of what makes a HomeGoods shopping excursion so much fun. The last two times I have been in I have walked away with a cart full of treasures. If you like to decorate or are looking for reasonable prices for a variety of home items stop in and see if HomeGoods has what you are looking for. If not, try again a week or two later. Let me just begin by saying that I am one of those husbands that likes to hang out on the sidelines while the better half shops. I wanted, and I really tried to like Home Goods. Interesting store with lots of home related items at not so bad prices...what's to dislike? A few things: first, the place is a zoo with people everywhere, the isles are only wide enough in most places for 1.5 shopping carts (WTH?) and no cell reception in the back of the store so when you lose your loved one you are pretty much screwed. Layer on top of all of the madness a parking lot that is equally crazy and you have a recipe for disaster....no thanks! I told the husband he has to come and shop here alone next time...I can't be a part of the problem any more. If I'm forced to go, I'll just go and plop my butt down at Starbucks across the parking lot. read more

HomeGoods has the selection I need to find a holiday gift in a pinch. Parking lot is difficult to get in and out of w/the big median, stop signs and traffic signals. Variety is good and prices are much better than stores like Pier 1 or Cost Plus. Quality and selection is hit or miss, but what do you expect from a discount store? For best selection, be sure to drop in regularly. You could spend quite a bit of time browsing if you stray from your list. During the holiday season they have an extended return period instead of their standard 30 days. read more

I want to love this store, but $299 for a cheap China made dresser, is just enough to make you wonder how good the crack in the pipe is they are smoking. The prices are not really that cheap, but some of the stuff is pretty most furniture is at least $199 and up and it is not really the best quality stuff. The knick knack stuff is average priced. I did see the $800 fountain for sale I loved. They are part of Marshall's and I walked down to Marshall's and saw some tables $10 cheaper for the same ones, so you might want to spend the extra couple of minutes to go down a door or two and check to see if they have it cheaper. The area is nice, since it is relatively still new and not loved to death by shoppers. Don't get me wrong, this place is fun to go in and look for some deals. Soo impressed by how attentive they are! I love all HomeGoods, and it's usually my favorite section inside TJMAXX so it's awesome to find the whole stand alone store. SOOO MUCH STUFF, and despite chatty high school girls working there, they get their jobs done. This one girl obviously had a friend visit her at work and they were talking about her clothes and how tan she was etc.. and if I needed help it would've bothered me that she was so involved and clueless of my presence right next to her, but at the same time at least her hands were constantly moving--she was stocking, and sorting, and fixing up displays with her pile of returns to set back out. Great variety and number of quantities of all kitchen tools and bedding. More wine racks than I have ever seen before, I will be back to pick one out with my husband!! And since it's holiday time, a whole bunch of Xmas decorations at the center of the store. Didn't apply to me, but for someone looking for kids furniture, I think that's the only area the store was lacking in stock with. read more
